This Taco Bell is almost always slammed. It’s one of a couple places in town that is open 24 hours, so it has a steady stream of cars in the drive through at most times, day or night. That being said, my order is almost always right, and the employees are generally very personable, even for what they have to put up with. The main problem here is one of design. The wide turns, and unlimited vertical clearance means that any douche-bag with a boat, travel trailer, or tow truck can utilize the drive through. Apparently, these local yokels didn’t get(or couldn’t read) the memo on how to conduct yourself in a civilized society. They will haul their POS through there, no matter the time of day, causing the drive through to be backed up by a good three or four car lengths more than necessary. Here’s a thought: if you’re towing a house, or ordering for more than a couple of people, PARKANDGOINSIDE!!!

Taco Bell hasn’t been the same since the 80s or whenever PepsiCo bought them. I eat here so rarely and that’s by choice. I don’t know what they put in their food but it destroys me. And they serve up worse then canned beans. Basically it was something that was ok once and then a mega corporation took over and messed it all up. I know Red Bluff loves their Taco Bell, but I’m heading across the river for a fast mexican food restaurant that hasn’t been destroyed by the suits in corporate headquarters. Do yourself and your bowels a favor and head to Del Taco too.

I usually don’t eat at fast food places, but this area left me no choice. It was health food dessert. Upon walking in it was mostly empty at 3 pm, and we had good customer service and quick turn around for food. Surprisingly it wasn’t too greasy and portion was not huge, so I actually liked it overall.

Taco Bell’s food isn’t bad, but the atmosphere gets a grade of F. This store is extremely worn out, fixtures are chipped and worn, the color scheme is incredibally dated – it doesn’t look anything like the Taco Bell’s we have visited in other areas. It looks like an old grungy hole in the wall. And to top it off the air conditioning is set to a severe low discomfort level unlike experienced in any other Taco Bell. So, it seems fairly evident that the owner is taking in all the profit while at the same time not doing anything to improve the store. I think it is an embarrasment to Taco Bell and an insult to this small community. As a friend and long time resident said, «We don’t go there anymore.»

Best double deckers in Northern California. Perhaps the world.
