Great for Pies and steaks. LOTS of dessert choices. Great breakfasts. Classic American comfort food. But No vegetarian or vegan choices! Right off highway across from Durango RV resort.

The staff was very, very nice and courteous. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. We’ll definitely be back when traveling through.

Stopped here for breakfast while driving down the I-5. Had lots of shady areas to park, which was great because we had our dog with us. Service was very quick and friendly. I had the traditional Benedict. I substituted the ham for avocado and tomato. The hash browns were cooked perfect! I wish they gave you a little bit of a bigger portion of the hashbrowns. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles without gravy. Chicken was cooked perfect and the waffle was fluffy with a good amount of crisp. Overall it was a good experience and we will stop by again on our next road trip up north :)

I would have given a higher review but it took me and my husband nearly 2 hours to have dinner here. I definitely won’t be going back. The waitress was kind and with myself being a hostess I was very polite back but I began to get irritated when we showed up at 7:40 and we didn’t get out of there till 10:00. The food was okay, wasn’t very much, my soup came after I asked for it when I revived my dinner(which was really no big deal ppl forget, mistakes happen) but what I am really irritated about is I finished my drink long before my food ever came out and never was offered another drink not to mention the waitress never came to the table to check on how we were doing and when she did she didn’t notice that all that was in my cup was ice I had to share my husband’s water when dinner came to the table. I won’t be returning very unpleasant trip.

NO, just NONONO. This place is worse than the Denny’s in Red Bluff… The wife wanted to go here for Valentines day, based on Unilocal Reviews. I said you know it’s like a Denny’s right? I ordered the steak with stuffed hash browns and onion rings. She had the fried chicken with fries and country gravy. So we go in, are seated rather quickly. Our server asked what we wanted to drink. The wife got a pepsi and I wanted a beer. But the server didn’t know what beers they had. She named one, and said«Coors, something Alaska, and I don’t know the rest, I don’t drink beer». So I asked if you could ask someone who knew, so she did go ask, but could then only remember two. Finally another waitress came by so I asked her, she named them all off, and became our server. She asked how I wanted my steak, to which I replied medium well. So they bring us our food, and the chicken is VERY dark from being OVER cooked. Dry and the country gravy was not country gravy, it was white gravy with GARLIC in it. PUKE… My steak was RARE, and only 3 onion rings on the plate. Knowing how cooks can be jerks, I didn’t send it back, but ate all the parts of it there were near medium, I just won’t eat raw meat because of food glue and how it can make you sick. When we complained at the checkout, that same waitress that couldn’t remember what beers they served was extremely RUDE. Saying smart ass things like«but you ate it all huh»??? The truth of it is, 35.00 yeah I’m eating all I can, I’m not RICH. And the chicken was taken home for the DOG. The place wasn’t even half full, lots of empty tables, yet I was given the excuse that they were slammed and the cook probably just didn’t read the order right. So I mention how the chicken was burnt, that’s when the manager stepped up. Offered us some vouchers for pie the next time we eat there. I wasn’t interested, because we won’t be going back. There are cooks that think other than searing the outside of a steak is done, that’s the way you are supposed to eat steak, rare. Funny how they can decide for someone else huh?

Shari’s so needs a face-lift. Prices are reasonable. Entrees and portion size are quite abundant. There is a prime rib Friday. And who doesn’t love free pie Wednesdays? Their marionberry is a PacNW fav-yum! I’ve ordered steaks, burgers, soups, salads and appetizers-nvr disappointed, nt blown out of the water either. It’s everyday. They do bake up a fabulous potato! Nt too sure they knw wht veggies are however. I gt it tho. Ths far north, we’re in cattle country… Our server was like a bar fly. She needed a friend or something. Whatever it was-we were NOT it. Shoo! Pesky little fly! I finally hd to tell her that if she interjected or interrupted 1 more tm… it w/b the VERYLASTTIME she did so –EVER. Ironically we did not see her the rest of the evening.

Asked if they had gluten free bread… the waitresses had no clue what that was and stated they do not have gluten free bread but they do have fat free salad dressing… wtf… I told her no hun I I don’t need fat free. Don’t get me wrong i may b a big girl but if it wasn’t for my kids starving and nothing else open i would have left… Daughter ordered chicken fried steak… yeah frozen deep fried. greedy not at all visually appealing. Managers: should really update waitresses on diet restriction options ect… DON’T GOHERE. U WILL B JYSTASDISSAPOINTEDAS I WAS

When looking up Sheri’s, it kept trying to send us to a location on the other side of the freeway where there is another road with the same name.

Went for breakfast and was not disappointed. Large menu to choose from so I had the traditional and it was very good. My wife had the strawberry crepes also good. Only thing is it is a little pricey for breakfast but you get what you pay for.

I hate to post bad reviews… My family & I stopped there for breakfast on our way out of town. My 2 daughters got biscuits & gravy. The biscuits were hard & small. We saw them microwaving the plates before they brought it out to us. Omelet was so dry & over cooked. Don’t waste your $. McDonalds serves a better breakfast… truly.

Such a great place. Reminds me of home every time I come in. Great food, service and of course, PIE. This is what all Diners should aspire to be. The staff, especially Kartrina make you feel welcomed and help you find what you want to eat if you don’t come in already knowing what you want. Did I mention they have great Pie? A must stop right off I5.

Not much of a quality breakfast selection in Red Bluff(no offense. locals). When I was browsing Unilocal for breakfast joints, everything seemed«greasy spoon”-esque. I’ve passed by Shari’s while on the freeway for years and have always wondered about it. I was pleasantly surprised! Actually really impressed by their«lighter fare» menu. I decided to try the BMP(Bacon, Mushroom, Pepperjack) Quiche – served with fresh fruit and an english muffin and it was SOTASTY! It was a small portion but I felt just right after. I’d like to go back and possibly try something else but the rest of my party’s orders looked more basic… and I really just want more of that quiche.

Yesterday, after a long day of driving, we stopped at Shari’s for dinner. Since it was Christmas Day, very few places were open. My wife had the soup, salad, and sandwich trio and I had a Denver omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast. Both of our meals were very good. Service was excellent. The only minus was that they sold all their pies that were available for Christmas Day(approximately 1000). Good for them, but bad for us. They are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

I have never visited this joint, but was across the street at the RV park and decided to stop in to bring back a pie. I got the strawberry rhubarb and it was pretty damn good. The place had a lot of people so I am assuming the other food is decent as well.

I love French Toast and I order it almost every time I go to a diner, but it’s never as good as my own. I didn’t want to gamble on just the FT because the I recently had some really bad FT in Santa Cruise so I got an omelet because you can choose it as a side. FINALLY some french toast that tastes real! It didn’t have a dry bread center or anything! Perfect consistency and tasted homemade. The omelet was alright. There was too much cheese for my liking and it tasted like cheap cheese.

Like Denny’s — average food, casual service. Don’t expect too much and you will get full. I had the express lunch combo with half a turkey cranberry sandwich, a spinach salad, and a slice of tropical coconut pie. I should have asked for dressing on the side for my salad because it was rather doused in dressing(my fault). The sandwich was decent. The pie was slightly too firm and I would have liked it to be more creamy and custard-y. Was passing through from Lassen National Park.

Great food! AMAZING service from long black haired gal… she was very upbeat & friendly! If only i could get her type service EVERYWHERE! Food was tasty, nicely prepared(not all slapped together) with great presentation. Hubby had a simple cheeseburger, said it wasnt greasy and a nice amount of cheese & fixins’. 16yr old had the warm grilled thinly sliced pastrami sammy plain with your choice of tater tots or fries, he chose tater tots, and loved it! Got himself a ‘clean plate sticker’!! My 13yr old got the mac n’ cheese with fries from kids menu… she could have chosen fruit or tator tots as well. She chose fries! Lol, shes a fry kinda kid! Her macarroni had extra cheese on top and she LOVED that! She even commented to said ‘cool’ waitress that she appreciated that extra cheese! Haha! So presentation was great in her eyes! I stole a couple of her fries and they tasted fresh and not all greasy or bland… i liked them! And no, she never knew i snaged a few! So, I ordred the bowl of Soup o’the Day(which was Broccoli Cheddar) & Half cold Sandwich. Choice of ham or turkey. Now, thats something I consider kinda light and not a heavy kinda meal. We were traveling so i didnt want to sit with a «heavy» meal in my gut. My turkey was thick and not that thin stuff. Good slice of fresh turkey breast meat. This visit was on a Sunday so todays soup was Broccoli cheddar… very good and thick. Broccoli was not soggy at all. On top of soup it was garnished with almonds & cheddar cheese, I enjoyed it. They have Pepsi products. They even offer mango flavored ice tea! I would for sure stop here if your traveling through I-5 and want something other then Dennys. Good quality service, tasty food and clean facility! Its not fast food though! Its in the FoodMaxx shopping center near the right side if your looking towards store. Location seems a bit odd, so if youve got a huge trailer or are towing something, id park in FoodMaxx lot and walk over to Shari’s. 2 – 3 minute walk if that.
