The only reason I can say anything positive here is because of the wait staff. Our server was very friendly and had great personality. However, the food was poor to say the least. The pricing on the menu would have you think you were eating at a national chain, $ 8-$ 10 for our orders. The food received belonged in a school cafeteria someplace. I had what was supposed to be a Club Sandwich and my wife had Chicken Strips. It took close to 45 minutes to get our food. The fries my wife had were under cooked considerably and the strips had so much breading and had been fried so long they were difficult to chew. My sandwich was missing the bacon, a key component imo. The bread had not been toasted at all. The potato salad had obviously been scooped from a tub of pre-made from some factory someplace. If you are traveling on I-5 and find yourself near this place… skip it!

First, I hope owners/management read this review and take it at face value. My wife and I have been coming here for years and have always loved the place. Food is very good, service is great, pricing is fair. Can’t be beat for breakfast. BUT, today we went in for lunch and for the first time, I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. I was very disappointed in the amount of meat on the sandwich. It was mostly an onion, lettuce, tomato sandwich with a hint of pastrami. Couldn’t even taste the pastrami. Showed it to others at the table, like, «Look at this, would ya?» Love everything about this place and highly recommend it, but won’t order the pastrami sandwich ever again. Stick with a burger!

So this little café is great. Its located on the second floor of the terminal building which is on the northeast side of the airport. Take the stairs that are straight head of you as you walk into the terminal building. Seat yourself style seating. The server will ask for your drinks with a min. Sever was fun and sassy. Windows run the length of the runway side of the building providing a nice vista of the runway, valley and distant mountains. Breakfast food was great. Have not tried the lunch items yet. As far as the menu goes you should expect the typical dinner selection. Fair amount of food for what you pay.

Probably the nicest waitresses around. Good home cooked style food at really good prices. My favorite place to eat breakfast in Red Bluff. They’re burgers are fries are pretty good too. Definitely above average. And it’s at the airport so sometimes it has a good view.

While Lori is by far the best waitress I’ve ever known and the food is pretty darn good… the time it takes to get food makes a herd of turtles in reverse seem fast. Owners— please PLEASE invest in another cook and another waitress. We almost walked out and went to McDonald’s instead.

Upstairs restaurant in the terminal building at the Red Bluff airport with a view over the runway. Easy access whether you fly in or drive. Very good classic diner food, and lots of it, at good prices. Super-friendly staff. Open 7 – 2 daily. Be sure to check out the small aviation museum downstairs. «Valeigh’s Airpark Restaurant was voted the Best Red Bluff Restaurant by the readers of the Record Searchlight in the Best of the North State 2009 readers poll!»
