The RMCF hasn’t changed. But gotten worse!
We thought it was odd that they didn’t have their hours posted. That is until we tried to curb our chocolate craving only to find them closed. Not once, but twice. We do understand that mountain tourist towns close shop early, but not before 7pm on Saturday night. They must have had a hot date or something and chocolate sales couldn’t get in the way.
So disappointed in RMCF, take your chocolate craving to The Candy Crate!

Very disappointed in this RMCF. You could tell the chocolate covered pretzels had been there a while because the chocolate was discolored and didn’t taste fresh. (Yes, I bought one anyway because my son insisted that it was the only thing he wanted.) Haystacks tasted a little waxy. For the price you pay for their candy, you should expect a heck of a lot better quality than what they had on display today.
