I gave this place another chance. I had a lovely chat with the owner, so maybe she was just having a bad day on my first visit. The selection is still limited though.

As far as used book stores go, this is a good one. I stopped by for a scifi novel and was pointed to a rather large selection of good books. The one I ended up picking was great and I got it for less than 50% the original price at $ 4 and it is in good/​great condition.
In talking with the owner, I found out that he is a local writer and sells some of his books in the store. How great is that? He pointed me to his website which had samples of his books and I know one really interests me. I’ll be coming back for my next purchase to get his book.
Full disclosure: I own the store next door (soon to open), but as I am a customer here of the book shop, I don’t see a conflict of interest in writing a review. I remain impartial and stand by what I have written.

The only thing that really bums me out about this place is how rude the lady is there… I’m assuming she’s the owner because she is there all the time… She hardly every smiles and you really have to work hard to pull the niceness out of her… if anything, it should be the other way around… you should want people to feel welcome in your business, not be afraid to ask you a question or even say hello to you
I go in here a lot because it is VERY organized and you can get really lucky in the clearance section… I’ve been buying stuff there off and on for about a year or two… but the lady is the same way every time… When you’re a small business owner, you should really be nice to your customers… I just don’t get it…

This used bookstore is extremely well-​organized, but has an exceptionally poor selection, unless you’re in the market for a romance, western or fantasy novel. There’s really not anything else here, except a few cookbooks and how-​to type things in the back. Go to Bog Bean.
