Very unhappy with the big screen tv we bought. Broke down just after the warranty expired. Had it fixed, broke down in less than one year. Would not go back!

Horrible customer service. Long waits(ALMOST A YEAR!). My mother bought a television and entertainment center from Clyde’s in August of 2011. It is now May 2012 and the order still has not been completed. The TV didn’t get delievered until close to three months after she paid for it and then the entertainment center was delivered incomplete just before Christmas 2011 at four months. The entertainment center was missing a shelf and we kept getting differing reasons for the shelf not being available. They sent us ones that didn’t fit and didn’t match the color of the cabinet-then they could’nt find them because the were moving-then they were having one made but that guy went out of business-then they sent one today that was supposed to fit and didn’t. My mother requested her money back and that they come and get the unit since it has been the better part of a year since she made her purchase and she has yet to get the issue resolved. At this point the owner, April, stated that she would not give my mother her money back and that she is only entitled to store credit should they agree to accept a return. This woman has no customer service and tries to make you feel like you are putting her out. If this issue isn’t resolved today, we(my mother and myself) will be taking this business to small claims court to recoup her $ 1200.00. Please do not buy here. Please do not reward poor customer service. Give your money to another business that will take care and be responsible to their customers. This is no way to run a business.

My friend and I won gift certificates to this place for a free DVD players. I called Clyde’s Next Generation and they said to come in on Tuesday and it would be there. I came in and they told me they didn’t have it. So they took down my name and number and said they would call me(they never did.) About a weeks worth of waiting I called again and they said to come in again at a future date. I came in when they asked and of course they didn’t have it. I called and came in a couple more times before I just gave up. I talked to my friend and asked if she had received her DVD player yet. I wasn’t surprised when she told me she went through the same exact story I went through and gave up. I appreciate integrity and what I received from this store was complete lack of character and class. If they care that much about a sale then they can have it. I am probably not the first person they’ve ripped off. Sorry to any others who have experienced what I have from this place. I gave them my name and number multiple times and this was back in November someone. It’s now June and I have never once received a call. Sad.

Over promise and under deliver. When they say«we’ll have it for you in 2 – 3 days» it may mean 3 – 4 weeks. Don’t expect the courtesy of a follow-up or apologies. Felt like they thought they were doing me a favor.
