IHOP

We usually really love going to other IHOP restaurants. However this was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We asked for crispy hash browns with cheese on them, and we got rubbery hash browns that tasted burnt. It was close to the texture of chewing gum. The Omelette was also extremely overcooked. And parts of the egg or even Brown. The Omelette also tasted a little rubbery like it been in the microwave? The best part about breakfast was the pancakes. This restaurant needs a little updating, as it seems run down, and the bathroom was dirty and towel dispenser broken, and white cement in the sink? As we were getting ready to leave the waitress nearly dropped something and said «shit!!» out loud. We were about four booths away from where she was at, so it was not quiet. Although the servers we’re very attentive I consider this extremely unprofessional.

my wife and i went to get breakfast, i was getting a test run so i could only have water. we are both senior’s living on a fixed income so we decided ihop would be a good place. my wife ordered french toast. the service was ok but when we went to pay the check they charged us for one french toast 3 pieces of bread 15 dollars, it was 12 50 plus tip for bread. we almost did not have enough to pay our bill. if you are elderly and on a fixed income we would not recommend i-​hop in Redding there prices are outrageous unbelievable. stay away and the food is not that good. way to costly for french toast

This palace is very small and dirty my coffee cup was dirty there was hair on our table very nasty. We just ended up leaving will never come to place again. The people next to us was complaining that there food was nasty!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Got a buster seat for my daughter and it was filthy. There was a nose hair on the table. Walls and window seal were dirty with syrup. Payed for coffee got up and left. Avoid this place unless you like to eat in filth.

Just had breakfast there on a Sunday morning and the food was so cold my toast tasted like cardboard and the bacon overcooked little tiny broken pieces. What a disappointment worst breakfast ever i should of have stayed at home and cooked breakfast for my family at home and by the way the server Lindsey needs some training in guest service.

Absolutely terrible. I saw that it only had 2 stars and thought «it can’t be that bad, it’s IHOP.» It was. Worst service I have ever experienced. When I went in I was told I would be seated in just a minute. After 20 minutes I said «is my name on the list?» The girl at the front was very kind and said I was suppose to be seated already the. She sat me at a table. After 20 minutes of sitting there, she came back and asked if I wanted something to drink. Another waitress (not mine) took my order right after that. The food arrived fairly quick by a different waitress (not mine either) and she asked if I needed anything. I asked for Tabasco. After 5 minutes of waiting for that I asked the guy cleaning the table next to mine if I could just have that one. I finished my meal and a different waitress than the first 2 asked if I needed anything and I said the check please. Finally my waiter arrived with the check. «Great to finally see you!» It was just all around not a very good experience. I will not be coming back to this IHOP ever again. Oh and last thing, there was a hair tangling from the inside of the old fashioned syrup bottle.

We stood in the front for five minutes without being greeted then someone else came in and they put them before us WE WALKED OUT! The food was piled up under the lights and not even being served. Every time I go there its the same bad service GET IT TOGETHER IHOP

Food wasn’t that great. Really bland. And the waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. And the women’s restroom was really dirty.

Any establishment that does not check their spoils, should not be in the business. Awful experience being serve spoil food and having management make excuses as to what it could be. Not acceptable. Removing items does make suffice. Will not be returning.

This place is just as dirty as can be! Wow.
Have not been to such a place like this in a long time.
Food was way to salty and dis not match the menu.
Also near the toilets and kitchen was stinky!

I haven’t been here in more than a decade but the new double-​dipped french toast (particularly the lemon strawberry one) intrigued me. Previous experiences with the breakfast items at this chain should’ve helped me expect a saccharine sweet dish that makes a better dessert than breakfast, however I was being hopelessly optimistic on this day. The neon food coloring in the strawberry preserve was also off-​putting (as usual).
The service was terrific really, so it’s a shame that everything else wasn’t, thus dragging down what could’ve been a decent rating. The booth seating is uncomfortable if you’re not tall as, when you sit down on the worn out seats, you sink so far down that the table practically comes up to your chest. As other reviewers noted, this place appears a bit run down and isn’t exactly squeaky clean either.

It was very small old and dirty. They really need to vacuum, the restrooms were tiny and gross and the food took a really long time, however it usually does in most IHOPs. The waitress was okay not the best but at least she wasn’t rude. I was traveling south and really wish I had stopped at a different IHOP location. Btw I ordered the new double dipped French toast and wasn’t please at all just an FYI.

Absolutely the worst IHOP I have ever eaten at. The hashbrowns were so over cooked, if you tapped it with your fork you could hear a «tink». The rest of the food was really bland too. Only one waitress was working the entire floor (which had quite a few people dining already), but she was great at least. Bathrooms were pretty gross too. Won’t come back here again.

Only one in here at 5:00 pm. Some ones kid behind the counters hanging on everything think it was the cooks daughter. Waitresses asking if they can make something to eat. Talking loud where the cooks are and were they was dishes someone singing loud. Very Bad management. Wanted to leave. But at least the food was hot and decent.

Came to IHOP late night on a Saturday, there was only one waitress working named Heather. She busted her ass to take care of all her tables while more and more people came in. They should probably have one more server on busy late night shift such as this but heather did an amazing job all by herself.

Normally I would have nothing but good to say about this IHOP. Today was not one of those days. Almost everything on our order was off. We saw 3 different servers. Non of them knew what our order was. The diet Pepsi no ice came with ice. The toast was stone cold. My strawberries and banana French toast was barely warm. My partner’s omelette was bland. When we asked the third server to exchange the drink to no ice she did apologize, but made a point to say she wasn’t the one that took our order. We never saw our original server again.

Not the best ihop. Friendly service but very slow! The food is fine, nothing special. It gets very busy mid-​morning and this location is small!

Horrible service! This place used to be pretty good but the last time I was here it took over 45 minutes to get served after ordering. Today it took about 10 minutes to be seated, even though tables were available. After ordering it was more than an hour to get our food, which is ridiculously long — especially when you have a two year old and a four year old with you. Twenty minutes after our order was placed I was told they didn’t have what I ordered. That should have been our clue to leave then. The problem is clearly with the kitchen staff. There was no manager on site and all the assistant manager had to say was that the servers had been complaining too and there was to be a staff meeting soon. Good luck with that — if they haven’t fixed the problem in the two months since I have last been here they aren’t likely to fix it now. Additionally there is no wifi and the 3 and 4G from my cell does not work in the restaurant so you can’t even check email or do business during the long wait. I will not go back.

Excellent food & service. Had a Senior 2×2 (pancakes, eggs & crispy bacon) and Hubby had a New Combo (Ham, Eggs, Hash Browns & Strawberry Banana Pancakes). All our food was cooked perfectly & Kathy (our waitress) was Very Nice & gave us great service!
Sorry «negative Unilocaler’s» but you must have come here on a BAD day :(
