Scott Halsey’s Kenpo Karate

My daughter has been coming here for about a month now and I can’t say enough good things about Scott Halsey and his team. Even if you don’t have a child or yourself are signed up here you have to come check it out. All the students are completely captivated by the instructors, they are firm, yet fun and boy do they know their stuff. You can even find youtube videos.
The whole process is a growing experience and teaching kids to self discipline themselves, respect and to strive for goals. My daughter the second time she came didn’t want to keep coming because she (was 5 at the time) wanted and thought it was going to be about battling people and learning moves on other people. I made her stay with it and she LOVES going now. She recently got her first yellow stripe on her white belt and was so excited and it made her feel good about herself. That is priceless!

This school is great for all ages, there is a place for everyone. Great prices, the material is priceless anyway. I spent close to ten years here. Its been my second home. Behind the outstanding staff, is the owner Mr. Halsey. Who has been a inspiration to me and many others. With patience and great diligence he shares his knowledge and teachings. I cant say enough good things about this school, it has shown me so much. Learning from this school could be the best thing you have ever done. Thanks Mr. Halsey

He is awesome! My kids go to his karate classes and love them. He is very good with all the children, and my kids look forward to going every week. Next year, my child has requested to go twice a week. The kid and parents who are there are awesome, too.

To be fair, I took classes here when I was in 5^th and 6^th grade, but it was bad ass. Instruction is great, and classes are offered frequently. I think it is a great place for kids.
