We ate here tonight after seeing mucho positive Unilocal reviews. It was great. If you love wood oven pizza dressed with a simple but delicious tomato sauce, quality toppings, real cheese on top of a hand tossed thin crust… this is for you. It’s no chain-like pizza! We had the spicy Hawaiian with hot honey, and the combo with veggies and Italian sausage. Both great, and even though I’m not a fan of pineapple, that pizza was stellar. I think it was spicy capicola. Prob the best thing was the pizzaiola? and his partner in crime rocking out to the nights playlist! Started with I felt the rain down in Africa… to Maneater lol Cold beer, several local brews, made the night!

One of the best wood-fired oven pizza that we had. We tried the Margherita and the Greek pizza. The service was great and the ambience(with music) was perfect! The two guys working there really seemed to enjoy making and serving pizza. We will definitely stop by the next time we are driving by Redding.

We saw the high Unilocal rating as we were passing through town. The service was very kind, but the pizza was very average.

Great personal sized pizzas. Could have a little more food for the cost but great taste.

Worth a stop. They have some unique recipes and the spicy Hawaiian is a must. You can also add the hot honey to any pizza. Yum yum yum!

Great food and service! Small, hole in the wall business, but it has a great environment, friendly service, and the food is always fresh and top quality. In comparison to another local similar wood fired pizza place, mod pizza, I definitely think it is better. There may not be as wide of a variety, but the overall quality of the ingredients is better.

We love fire baked pizza, and this little place delivers. Will definitely come here again, next time in Redding.

Yummy! FRESH mozzarella, real tomato sauce… real ingredients period and a wood fire are what make this the hands down best pizza place in the North State. I’m a very picky diner(not sure how a lot of places in Redding stay open… not enough competition to drive quality I suppose?) I’m not even a huge fan a pizza BUT Cinders is one of my favorite restaurants.

So many reasons this place is 5 stars! The atmosphere is rad! Cool music and people. The pizza was very yummy! Crust was perfect and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The service and guys working were fun to chat with and very personable. I would recommend anyone to come here and give it a try.

Spicy Hawaiian is the . Honey on pizza was a first and it is awesome. Pizzas are personal size, which is a great way to taste more. Please consider putting anchovies back on the menu!

Had the pepperoni pizza and it was very good. All pizzas are 10 inches and start at about $ 8.00. Great place for lunch and I will definitely be back.

If you’re not from Redding, we’re not, Cinders isn’t the easiest place to find when using Google Maps. But… when you do find it, you’re in for a real treat. The pizzas were delicious, the large Greek salad was huge, it came with an evoo and balsamic vinegar which was really flavorful and the service was great. They do sell beer in bottles as well. Not the biggest seating area either. So if you’re looking for great personal size pizza in redding Cinders is the place to be.

Legitimately the BEST salad I’ve ever had! And of course the pizza is #1 in town but that goes without saying at this point. But back to the greens, do not underestimate the power of a beautifully proportioned salad-The Greek salad is blowing my mind with deliciousness!

Probably the best greek pizza I’ve ever had, it was amazing. Only down point is this place is so small and closed on Sundays. I can’t wait to come back and try the other pizzas though, especially the dessert one. I’m definitely recommending this place to others.

Always great! Best pizza in Redding, by far! This is a must try! Only downside is that lately they’ve been selling out pretty early… That’s great news for Cinders, not great news for us! :)

By far the best pizza in Redding. Wood fired oven style and great pizzas on the menu. Definitely try the chicken bacon or bbq chicken. Also the dessert pizza ‘chocolate dipped’ is Nutella with raspberries and chocolate chips… AWESOME!!! Definitely check it out. Parking is always available. Slightly hard to find. So give them a call if you need help finding the place.

This place was a random pick while passing through Redding. It may have been random, but it was not disappointing! It’s a small and cute eatery with chalkboard menus and a large hand drawn chalk logo on the wall. The pizza was freshly made in a brick oven. All their pizzas as personal size, and the crust is thin and crispy so you don’t feel like a blob after eating a whole pizza! I ordered the Spicy Hawaiian. If you do like a lot of spice, this one will be pretty mild to you and you may want to get some of their«Honey Sauce» on the side to add to it. Despite being mild, it was a great tasting Hawaiian pizza. The cheese looks like they cut the mozzarella fresh vs. being shredded, which was awesome. This is a great stop if you’re looking for something that is somewhat quick, but isn’t another fast food joint!

We tried a number of their pizzas recently, including the Greek, Pesto Veggie, PB& J, and Chocolate Dipped. Their pizzas taste as great as they look(see photos section), and I’d say they are possibly the *closest* approximation(in Redding) to a certain authentic Italian pizza place that I enjoyed in Sacramento(«Hot Italian»).(The Pesto Veggie and Chocolate Dipped were my favorites by the way.) I’d love to see more exotic ingredient options in Redding but I know this is wishful thinking. After trying out Cinders however, I know that I can rely on their distinctly different pizzas to tide me over when I crave a great pizza, and all for a decent price($ 8-$ 10 a pizza, $ 6 for a dessert pizza)!
