New York Pizzaria

I just had surgery and my boyfriend offered to pick up food for me. This is a favorite of mine, but when we called and asked to place an order «to go,» the guy was rude and said «um, we are kind of busy.» Isn’t this part of your job? Please learn some manners and not deter customers.

Great pizza! Friendly staff, small shop atmosphere. My son and I are very happy with the service and food. Tonight we grabbed a pepperoni. Called it in before we arrived. The owner knew who we were and what our order was without checking the order stub.

The pizza was excellent. That staff superb. the owner was so nice and sweet making sure we had everything we needed. Thin crust with gracious toppings and nice atmosphere We will definitely be going again.
If you are in Redlands I highly suggest stopping by. It’s just to scoot pass downtown… walking distance. A nice walk to burn some calories

Sorry not a fan. The pizza tastes like frozen oven pizza you can buy at the grocery store. It was also overpriced. Soda was good but that’s it. I liked the inside of the restaurant but that’s all I can really say about that.

I love this place great food and great owner I try to get a calzone weekly. I definitely will be coming here for years. The calzones are worth the wait and the marinara sauce that comes with it has a spicy kick. Just a great place people need to come out here

Ordered a large pepperoni. Pizza was good, but not great. Kids and I dined in. The place had a funny smell and was dirty. Behind the counter there were boxes and papers. Looked like they needed an office area. Ceilings were water damaged. We didn’t use the restrooms. Not a place to linger. We won’t be back because the kids were not too comfortable.

I needed pizza fast and I needed it delivered for a staff lunch meeting I was hosting. I was running a little behind schedule, called these guys, and they had it delivered right away in a pinch. I will definitely be using them again. They were fantastic to work with, right on time, and the pizzas were delicious. Thank you New York Pizzeria!

Found them on Unilocal for delivery to my office for my staff. They had great reviews so we tried them. Pizza was great! Thin crust and not skimpy on the meat. Salad was fresh and was great as well. Had an issue at delivery but the owner immediately rectified it for me. Thanks we will be back

Just spent a week in NYC and never had a slice! Needed an old school pie and this place delivered (45 – 60 min quote). Toppings were good, pizza crust amazing and that pie was super hot-​from-​the-​oven in one hour.
Don’t ask the guy on the phone if they have any specials – this ain’t Dominos. Just straight up order what you want.
It was one of those meals you wish you coulda eaten more.

More expensive than the national chains, but this is the best pizza in Redlands! Not many frills, kinda bad location, but eating pizza in here is like a step back in time and it is really delicious pizza. Better crust than Gourmet Pizza or Strongman

I’m really sad to only give it 3 stars. I would always Oder from this place and the pizza was amazing! But just recently I ordered from here, and something about the pizza has changed. I’m not sure what it was but I just couldn’t eat it, and the pizza went to trash. As much as I loved this place I am sad to say I will not be back.

Good, fresh pizza and salads. The place looks pretty much the same as it did 20 years ago but is a little run-​down looking. Some minor changes and updates would make the dining room more inviting.

It’s probably just my opinion, but I found the pizza to be lacking in alot of areas…

My family just moved to Redlands and while unpacking, decided to try out a local pizza place for carry out. The owner of this establishment is just as nice and welcoming as previous reviewers have mentioned. We decided to order the New Yorker and a pepperoni pizza. Our order was completed within the 30 minutes we were told it would take.
Our 10 year old, resident pizza connoisseur, declared we’ve found «our pizza place». I have to agree. Both pizzas were really good. I had to use a fork to separate the already sliced New Yorker, but c’mon, it’s loaded with toppings and extra cheese. If you’re going to just pull on a slice of hot pizza, of course you might lose some of the toppings. Just use the fork to cut through the cheese that melded back together… no biggie. The sauce was flavorful, not sweet. Again, this was just really good food!
Oh, and I didn’t feel like the pizza was super expensive, either. We paid about $ 35.00 for 2 20″ pizzas, which fed 4 adults and 2 kids (with 7 slices left over).
I’m looking forward to trying other menu options, as I’ve read the good reviews wrt the salads and veggies.

Like the pizza. The location is a bit weird and to be honest we haven’t been there in a while but was pretty good.

The man whom I believe is the owner made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in and was attentive the entire time I was there. The place is air conditioned and very clean with plenty of space.
I ordered the lunch special and chose the mini pizza and drink option (comes with a single free refill). After twenty minutes the personal sized pizza came out hot and smelled great. The cheese and dough were perfect along with the seasoning they used on the sauce.

Just showed up with some friends, 1 channel on the TV. No one was even inside this place we were the only people in the place (I should’ve took that as a sign). We ordered buffalo wings, not spicy, not crispy and more Importantly NOT Good. We ordered the «New Yorker» pizza, took almost an hr for it to come to our table, not even «NY» style pizza, toppings were falling off the pizza ones I grabbed it to take a bit. I wouldn’t come back that’s for sure, the guy was nice as can be, but doesn’t compensate for the flavor/​quality of the pizza… & last bit def not least, how did this place rate 4 1 – 2 stars!?! Wow!

I agree, this is good pizza.
I called in an order for pick up and the customer service was great. My pizza was done exactly when I was told it would be. Ordered one pepperoni and one cheese pizza and the cheese, sauce, and meat was all very tasty and enjoyable. The flavor of the thin crust was good but unfortunately it was too chewy which made it seem like a lot of work to eat each slice.
My kids thought it was the «best pizza ever» so I will continue to frequent this pizzeria on occasions.
I do wish the slices were cut larger so folding action could happen while eating.

I’ve tried this place twice and each time I experienced poor customer service and over priced pizza! I will never return or refer! Antonious Pizza is better and cheaper!

This is our usual Pizza Delivery place. Way better than the domino’s and the like. Not the most gourmet but the pizza is good and consistent. Delivery is reliable. We love it.
