I eat here at least twice a week. I’d come here over chipotle but I feel their meat is frozen and just reheated on grill. I can heat frozen food at home for half the price. The last two times my chicken has came to my table still cold but fully cooked. One piece of chicken was still frozen. I will return bc it convenient for me but wish the food quality and prep was more fresh. Service is always good.

Foods always good and consistent. As good as any Rubio’s but the service here is consistently SLOW. There have been multiple instances I see our food just sitting on the shelf not being given because of understaffing.

Tried the Pollock tacos for lunch. Service was prompt and very friendly(nice surprise). Taco presentation was excellent. Salsa was mild and fish portions were generous. Prices were fair for the size of the tacos. Fish could be considered over battered by some, however they were not over fried. Left restaurant wanting to try more entrees in the future.

This Rubio’s location is ok. The food preparation is very inconsistent. Some days it tastes decent and other days it’s barely tolerable. The reason I give it 4 stars and not 3 is because the staff are very kind and helpful, the food is fresh, and the restaurant and salsa bar are always clean. The churros are consistently good and are a must to try! I usually like the street tacos, but again, it’s a hit or miss on how they prepare it. They have nice tables, chairs, & umbrellas set up outside, which is great so you can bring your dog with you!

We did a catered order from here recently and the food was very good. Unfortunately, there were a few things that could be improved. Our order was completed twenty minutes late, and the machine was down so I could not get a receipt. The clerk promised she would email it, and I never received it. A week later, I called asking for it, and was told it would be emailed out immediately. It’s a week later and I still haven’t received it. Luckily, my work has contingencies for reimbursement without a receipt, but I would have been less several hundred dollars if I had to rely on the store.

I had the Mahi Mahi burrito today and I thought it was really good. the staff was nice and welcoming, the place was clean. I liked the variety of fresh salsas, they also have different kinds of hot sauces. I like the variety of sea food options. I think I will be back for lunch.

Food is good, especially the fish tacos/burritos. However the service is subpar and the food takes awhile to come out.

I ordered a Chipotle Orange salad, which comes with avocados, and my salad didn’t have any avocados. When I went back to the counter to ask for my avocados, they went to the back and got me THREE thinly sliced avocados. That obviously didn’t really make a difference. Other than that the food was okay.

Not bad. but not the best fish tacos. Cleanliness, wasn’t the best and service wasn’t as attentive. I gave it 3 stars because I Want to try it again without having so many boy scouts there

Meh is exactly what I was thinking as I was eating my food. Not very flavorful as I found myself adding hot sauces to get my food to taste better and it wasn’t working. Also seemed a bit pricy for the quality of food. Dont think I’ll be back.

This place does not deserve any stars our total was $ 35 for a shrimp taco, the taquitos, a fish taco and tortilla soup! It was disgusting our family got sick. The taquitos tasted like the ones from ampm the«manager» Rey was rude and not customer friendly. I will never come back here again!

Newly renovated establishment! This establishment is located in the heart of Redlands and has recently finished an interior renovation so it looks extremely nice and new inside. Disclaimer: I only come here on Tuesdays after 2:30 p.m. for their TACOTUESDAY deal because I feel like that is the best item that they have on the menu. Each taco is $ 1.50 and you have the option of corn or flour tortillas(you have to mention if you want it on flour). Each taco comes with a giant piece of fried fish, a handful of cabbage, their special white sauce(ask for extra on the side), and a slice of lime to squeeze on top. They have a complimentary salsa bar that you can use to help yourself to various salsas. They also have small cups just in case you want to take some extra salsa home. Aside from their Taco Tuesday special, one thing that I like about this restaurant is their customer service. Everyone that works there is nice and friendly. During a visit, a friend had his order messed up and when he went to complain, the manager quickly apologized, fixed his order, and gave him a complimentary meal for the next time he comes in. That is great customer service right there! That is why I never hesitate to come and dine in this fine establishment.

I never really fish tacos even less crave them but today was just one of those days! I had to have one and I decided I trusted Rubios best. I’m no fish taco expert but I had the best fish taco today, I got it to go and it made it from Redlands to San Bernardino without getting soggy! And my chips were fresh! The place was clean. Only thing I didn’t even get a hello from my cashier but I let it slide.

Hands down my go-to restaurant for my fish tacos. You have the option of having a corn or flour soft shell for ONLY $ 1.50 every Tuesdays after 2:30pm. The interior décor gives off a Baja or island look and I am yet to find an employee that gave a hostile customer service. You WONT be disappointed visiting this food joint.

I ate my first fish taco at this Rubio’s years ago. I was hesitant about the idea of eating fish in a taco — but I love fish and tacos. Delicious! I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants and tried this fish tacos. I prefer Rubio’s. I love their tasty blend of cabbage, sauce and crispy fish.

Join birthday club & get a free meal during the week of your birthday They used to be waaay better in the food quality but its still good. Minus one star because they are sooo incredibly slow & quality has gone down a bit, but still worth trying if you’re in the area. I like to go on weekend mornings(for me thats 11am), we sit outside, eat some fish tacos & relax. They also have a salsa bar but you have to pay for chips or if you get a combo you get a small portion of chips but if you’re a salsa lover like me you’ll need to order some. I digress, the food: last time got the combination 3 taco plate one traditional fried fish one shrimp one grilled blackened fish. They were all good but the traditional is still the best. My aunt loooves their lobster burrito and tacos but they’re seasonal so I haven’t had a chance to try them yet. The tacos are good to fill the fish taco craving but not as good as señor baja or others in LA(or of course BAja California). They have cold beer if you want a nice cold beer w yr fish tacos.

Best fish tacos in the country! I saw Rubio’s in a magazine featured as the top fish taco in the nation… Back home in the 909 for a week I had to go get some!!! Awesome! Even my date(mom) enjoyed them. Not a huge fan of the all their salsa’s

We come here often for some great fish tacos. I get the pesky combo, which is not on the menu anymore. Especially fish tacos(fish, cheese, guacamole, cabbage, salsa), chips, and Pinto beans. Wife gets the steak quesadilla with extra steak, chips, and sometimes Pinto beans. Salsa bar for your enjoyment. Always very good. Everyone is very nice. And who does not like the downtown redlands area. Since there is more businesses in this strip mall, parking sometimes sucks.
