Apollo Gyros

They accepted our order at 12:24 a.m. when they closed at 01:00-it arrived at 2:00 a.m. Their driver had obviously gone to pick up his girlfriend first. The salad was warm, and with cheese (which I had specified it should not have because I can’t eat it), the ice cream had melted all over the soda (which was diet-​again, wrong), they sent the wrong sandwich. Never, ever order from these guys for delivery. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. I should have read the reviews as well.

Read all the reviews, and had to order out of curiosity.
After the second hour, I get a call saying their computer was offline, so they just got the order and if I still wanted it. No apology, and was rather curt. I said I’d still want it delivered, and he said they’ll be there in an hour.
2 hours later, i get a credit on my Credit card. Guess they gave up.

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I ordered from eat 24! Finally got my food 2 hours after I ordered and I could believe how disgusted I was… They brought an open 2 liter that had been drank out of… The «Greek salad» was a bunch of bagged lettuce, a few chunks of tomato and a container of dressing which they also used as the tzatziki sauce and dipping sauce for the bread sticks… (it was not tzatziki sauce or dressing at all). They advertised a Greek salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, Greek dressing and so on… Not even close! The gyro was huge and the outside was pretty burnt the sauce did not work with it at all, there was no feta on these either as advertised… It all just looked sad and disgusting… As it had been about 2 hours and I was starving and had to run out the door for May last appointment of the day for work I took a few bites of the gyro (if you can call it that) and threw the rest of all of it away… About ten minuets later while driving in traffic I had to pull to the side of the road in front of a bunch of people and throw up uncontrollably and I feel horrible… I hope I start feeling better soon but I’m pretty sure I have food poisoning… Hopefully I don’t end up having to go to the hospital as I’ve been throwing up ever since!!! :-(I am so not happy…

If I had time to take a photo of the delivery of pizza, chicken gyro and breadsticks before my wife threw it all away you would see how bad this place is. She took one bite from each and gave that look of disgust that every husband or boyfriend recognizes.

What is this?!? Worst gyro ever and an insult to Greek food I threw it out… bread sticks were flat bread and the BBQ chicken was chunks of that Chinese chick. the bread sticks and the chicken were sadly the only edible things there rose hip milk was sour and was like a rotten milk shake… absolutely horrible don’t eat here

Ordered from Eat24 and was told 30 – 40 minutes; at 95 minutes we called to ask where the food was and were told 20 more minutes. Cancelled the order with credit card company and with the restaurant. Delivery guy showed up two hours and 30 minutes after order was placed. We had already gotten food somewhere else. Wish we would have read the reviews…

Placed an order on grubhub. Took them 2 hour to bring me the food. The food wasn’t what I ordered. The food they gave me was burnt, uncooked and I think it started moving. Called and got hung up on. They deserve a negative 5 star. Don’t order from here. Horrible customer service and I didn’t even eat the trashy food. I wouldn’t even give this to a person starving. I would worry they would die. FDA should shut them down.

I ordered a 34.00 meal thrust Eat24 at 11:12 I was told my meal would be here at 12:12. at 12:46 I called and canceled the order. I have things to do today and waiting until god knows when for a pizza aint one of them. In happy I didn’t pay with a credit card. I wish I would have read these reviews first.

Ordered food through Eat24. They robbed me, then laughed at me when I tried to get my order. Eat24 doing their best to rectify the situation. Stay away from this place. Haven’t seen any food with over a $ 70 bill.

Used GoButler to order pizza and a couple other items. Pepperoni pizza came with olives, mystery meat, and the wrong soda. We thought we were ordering from a more known pizza chain like pizza hut or garlic jim’s. Turns out it was Apollo’s Gyros. Asked if it was possible to cancel the order after we found out and they said no. Pizza looks burnt, cheesy breadsticks are just depressing, and Garlic bread is in nicer words, poop. Charged $ 35 bucks for sad excuses for food. Delivery was thirty minutes late (hour and a half total wait time). Sad day. Gonna go make some cup noodles or something now.

Absolutely horrible food. Tasted nothing like a greek gyro. had only a few slices of some super thin mystery meat. The bread around tasted like a pancake and the «tzatziki» was some kind of watered down sweet tasting mess. Took two hours to get, came cold. Don’t order from here! This is the only bad review I’ve written. Feel I had to!

Don’t go here… over an hour late… food wasn’t what I ordered & what i did get i wouldnt even feed it 2 my dog… ice cream was hella melted also.

Sure wish we checked here first before ordering through grub hub. Over 1 hour late delivery. 1 mystery dish that wasn’t edible in the least. This place needs to be shut down. Wish I could give it a 0 star rating.
Update: We didn’t get sick from the food, thankfully. Regardless, we ended up throwing the bulk of the food away, which is probably what prevented illness.

Ordered for delivery for our small, busy office. Ordered 2 greek salads and 2 gyros.
Took over an hour and a half to get our delivery. Gyros were very cold. They weren’t on a traditional pita, seemed like naan?
The salads had what seemed to be like previously frozen cucumbers that turned into mush as they dethawed. The other vegetables weren’t good either.
Ate a few bites of the gyro, but it was so cold and wasn’t very appetizing.
Needless to say we went pretty much without lunch this day.
Called the business back to let them know I was disappointed in their service and the food. The employee who answered the phone said the boss would call me back. They never called.
I do not recommend. I will never order from here again.

I should have been smart and look at reviews before I ordered off of GrubHub my stomach hurts and I’m pretty sure I’m going to be sick after less than an hour eating that crap. found a little tiny hair at the end of my gyro so I didnt touch the last few inches thank God, or else I’m sure I’d probably be puking up my bowels kidney, intestines, and everything else in my body this garbage touched. Not to mention the delivery guy screwed up my order don’t even know what order he was sending me and made me check it so your food might have been touched by somebody else YUM

Very bad food. Gyro was the worst gyro i ever ate. Not hygenic either. I wonder why the healtg dept. Havent shut them down yet.

This place is downright disgusting! I am pretty sure that I am going to get sick from the few bites that I ate of the food I ordered from this place. What arrived at my doorstep was nowhere close to what I ordered. I am ok with mediocre but the food I received was far short of this. Save yourself the food poisoning and order from somewhere else.

I ordered through 24 hour eats. It has been well over and hour and no food. I am not pleased with the website and especially not pleased with the restaurant.

Delivery was horribly slow — took about 1 & ½ hours! By the time the food arrived, the hot items were ice cold. The lassi, on the other hand, has become so warm I was afraid to drink it.
Also, when the delivery arrived they said they didn’t have the 2 liter bottle of soda we ordered, so they replaced it with two 20 oz bottles. The combination of the two is about 1.2 liters — not nearly the 2 liters we ordered and paid for.
I threw our the overpriced but inedible lassi, and reheated some of the other food, which was mediocre, at best. The biggest problem with the food was the pizza. The list of ingredients made no mention of cilantro, but it was covered in it and I am allergic! Needless to say, I could not eat it at all.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and a total rip off. I would not order from them again.

I was starving at work and without my car, so I decided to order delivery through Grub Hub (after hearing how great that site was, here on the Unilocal boards!). Well, I don’t blame Grub Hub, but my meal from this restaurant was abysmal. After placing my order, I was given a window of time for delivery. The driver arrived well over 15 minutes after the time window elapsed (over an hour after I had placed the order). No napkins or forks was in the bag with my foods (and, wouldn’t you know it, we were out of forks at work). If the food was great, or even good, I’d overlook these issues. But no, oh no, the food was really bad:
–my gyro was inedible. I was soooo hungry (hadn’t eaten since dinner the night prior), and after 3 – 4 bites, I threw the whole thing out in the trash. I can’t even remember the last time I threw out food, I think that’s so wasteful. But this was literally inedible. It was cold, there was hardly any meat in it, and it was totally saturated with the sauce, so the gyro interior was a soggy mess. The kicker was the pita that wrapped around this saucy mess: the pita was HARD. Like, really hard. Hurt my teeth to bite into it. I can’t imagine any one eating this gyro. Maybe if one were starving on a deserted island, or stranded asea in a lifeboat for weeks on end. Perhaps then, as an alternative to resorting to cannibalism, perhaps then this gyro would be acceptable. Perhaps. Jury’s out.
–my artichoke chicken salad was mediocre at best. Thankfully, my co-​worker had an extra plastic fork to give me (otherwise I’d have had to use my fingers). The chicken consisted of flattened, thin, hard rectangles. The plastic fork could not pierce these chicken rectangles. They were impenetrable. They were cold and chewy and dry, like they had been left over for days. They were like strips of chicken jerky, cut up. And the artichoke hearts were straight from the can. I know my canned artichokes. They had that gummy consistency and tin can preservative taste. You know what I mean. But at least the lettuce was fresh, and the salad was edible, and I was so hungry, I ate it up. Worth $ 8.99? Not even close.
–I brought hot wings home for my husband. He said they were «okay». I’m not sure if that’s a ringing endorsement or not, but he ate them all, so they must’ve been decent.
I was really hoping to like this place, to find a nearby restaurant that delivered, where the food was good. So sad to report, this is not that place.
