Farzy Cuts

I have been using Farzy’s for almost 5 years, now. Just took one haircut and I never looked back. What I love most is I can walk in there, shaggy as all get out, and in 15 quick minutes she turns me back into presentable gent I used to be. Not only that, but I don’t even have to say a thing, she always knows just what my hair needs… which is great since I don’t have a clue.
Farzy’s courteous, fun, and upbeat attitude combined with just incredible hairstyling skills has, and will, keep going back for as long as she’s willing to put up with me!
Just a note, even after moving 30 minutes away, I still make the drive out here — she is just that good! I don’t even want to try finding something local.

Farzy always does a great job. After moving from Queen Anne I trialed at least a handful of places until I finally found one which satisfied my wife’s demanding expectations. Farzy is a skilled professional. It’s easy to simply park across the street and get in and out. Farzy now does my son’s hair as well for which she displays great patience and care.

She is an amazing lady with angel hands. Definitely the best hair cut I ever had. The place is very well decorated and ambience feels great. She is extremely talented and I’ll always come back there :)

She is experienced, but the chance of getting a good cut is worse than Russian roulette. Very nice person, and salon has good style and interior. Great cut the first time, and never as good since. She keeps 15 mins appointments: I’ve always seen 30 mins appts. but never 15. So she is always running late. A good bit of time is answering phone calls and setting up appointments. She is a 1 person shop doing it all under very tight timelines, and the quality of haircut suffers. I would go elsewhere, but she is the best of those in Redmond.

Farzy is amazing. I always love my haircut. I used to get my hair cut at a variety of places, but since I found Farzy about four years ago, she is the only one that cuts my hair. Very highly recommended!

My experience sucked. It cost 30 $ and it literally looked like my head went through a weed wacker. I know she typically has had good review, but for my hair type it didn’t work out. Will not be returning

I will write what I experienced and what I felt.
First of all no doubt she is experienced and talented. She starts cutting your hair and your realize she is a pro. I went there by reading the reviews from this page. First cut was awesome and I wasn’t disappointed at all (may be I was happy to find a pro hair stylist and didn’t notice anything).
But as my second and third haircut came I paid more attention and I realized that I get only 15 minutes for a men haircut. In those 15 minutes she sweeps the hair from the floor and bills the guy who was getting a haircut before you, so you get about 12 – 13 minutes for the haircut. What is the side affect of that? I started realizing that every now and then my hair would be unevenly cut after every haircut. She tries to hurry up to catch up the time and doesn’t double check at the end. I am not talking about pro level uneven, I am talking about something that I can see myself in mirror. Most of the time it was just behind my head above the ears.
Moreover, someone would get late and because of which the 15 minutes would drop to 10 minutes because she would try to hurry up even more to catch up the schedule. My last 4 haircuts were like that and I couldn’t find any value in paying 30 $ for such haircut.
After 8 – 10 months of arguing with myself (should I give one more shot or not?) I decided to move to some other less expensive hair saloon because you can get the same kind of haircut 15 $ at these places.
She is pro but I feel her main intention is to fit maximum number of people in a day she can fit and not the «customer satisfaction». I don’t care how pro she is, as a consumer I care about what I get for the money I paid and I don’t find it worth it. Specially when there are same/​better quality haircut I get in half the price at other places. They may not be as pro as Farzy is, but as a «customer» I care about the quality of service I get for the money I pair more than how much «pro» a service provider is.

Just to say in a word FARZY is simply awesome. She is very great at understanding our needs. She also shares her thoughts based on our face shape. On the whole she gives good recommendations. She is very fast and good at styling your hair. The salon is very neat and simple. Her prices are very reasonable. She is very accommodating and it’s easy to get an appointment with her.

I agree wit all the reviewers here … Farzy is just fantastic. I was too skeptical trying anew hair stylist after having a disaster with the last one. Whole experience was just awesome, she has some books in her salon with hair styles for various length hair, you can choose from that or take a picture with you. Before starting she will discuss what you want and whats achievable. Then she will walk you through every step while cutting and make you feel very comfortable. I love my new hair cut and would definitely recommend her!

Farzy is awesome!
She has a way of transforming your hair into something beautiful. I went to her about 2.5 months ago and my hair still looks good. Will be going to her again… and very soon! :)

Oh Farzy is awesome! she has a great deal of experience cutting hair and will recommend you hairstyles depending on your facial structure.
downside of Farzys as she is really popular is that it’s hard to get appointment in short notice. You will have to make an appointment at least 4 days ahead.

A little background info: I live in Boston. I was visiting family in Redmond for a week and made an overnight decision to chop my elbow-​length hair off to my chin… My brother recommended Farzy, and I could not be happier! She listened very carefully to what I asked for, made some suggestions of her own, and spent plenty of time making sure my cut was exactly what I wanted. Her prices were very fair, too – higher than a Supercuts but lower than a fancy salon, and definitely just as high quality (if not higher) than anywhere else I’ve been! Would absolutely recommend Farzy to anyone. If you’re on the fence about where to go for hair cuts in Redmond, definitely head here!

Took my boys with me to get our hair cut. Farzy did a great job on all three of us, and we’ll definitely be going back.
The prices are fair (Remember, this is not a Supercuts or Great Clips), she’s very friendly, and she made sure we liked what she was doing. Will gladly recommend to others.

I found Farzy through Unilocal a few years ago and I now refuse to go to anyone else!
She’s been cutting hair for 30 years and she really knows what she’s doing.
I have fine hair, bangs and layers and it’s pretty complicated to get right. I’ve been to various different salons and shops over the years but never found anyone who could do just the right cut on me. I went in and she knew EXACTLY what to do with my hair without any instruction or advice. She found her way through my cowlick in one side of my bangs and was able to make them even and spunky!
I recommend Farzy to anyone, regardless of where you live. I used to live right in Redmond by her and now I live in Renton and I still go to her only! I made the mistake of dropping in to another place for a quick bang trim to save time and they didn’t do them right. From now on, Farzy ONLY. :)

This was the most bizarre place I have ever gotten my haircut.
After waiting about 10 minutes, she sat me down and I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and away she went.
She worked so ridiculously fast it was almost frightening. I’m kind of tall, about 6’3, and she made me slouch in my chair the entire time so she could reach, but when she was all done I had an extremely well crafted hair cut, I was actually pleasantly surprised.
During the cut Farzy kept referring to my haircut as my «transformation» and how I could see the world now that I had my haircut. At one point she told me that «god created me with a vision of fashion».
As I said before, it was the most bizarre haircut I ever had, but I will probably stop back again for my next «transformation».

The best haircut place around! I have been a regular here for about 3 or more years. I never think about going anywhere else.
She really takes the time to listen to how you want your hair to look, and does a fantastic job. I am always satisfied and proud of my new haircut when I leave.
Also, her haircut tools and salon is very clean. She ensures that it is sanitized and clean for the next person. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has switched salons and is looking for an excellent place to start getting their haircuts.
She is also a very nice lady and fun to talk to. After going there, she is like a friend now. You can trust her and know that the haircut you get is perfect and exactly what you want it to look like.

I’ve never really had good haircuts before I went to her. It is a bit pricey, but it is definitely an excellent quality haircut. She is very friendly and shows you that there are no limits to what you can do with your hair.
Since it is getting pretty chilly, I will be keeping my hair longer. But will for sure come to her next time!

Farzy did a wonderful job with my hair and beard. She is very personable, wants to give you a good cut, and clearly loves her work and her customers.

Farzy has the touch. The cut always looks great and stays great at is grows in. It’s like she knows to to make each hair want to play nice! I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to figure out that Farzy Cuts is simply the best (because Farzy is simply the best).
