Complete auto care is not what you will get here. Do not go here for auto maintenance. They mentioned my brake pads were low on my AWD car and I had them replaced. Some numb nuts forgot to reattach the brake caliper correctly and the car seized up as soon as I got off the freeway… luckily. Could have been killed if it locked up on the freeway. Carved up my wheel pretty good. Hard pass. Won’t even go back for my lifetime alignment I paid for.

Terrible service, scammed my child out of his money. Went in needing his alternator replaced, they told him it was just the battery and charged him $ 400 dollars. His car died on the way home from picking it up. DO NOT GO HERE.

Firestone Complete Car Care is anything but what they claim to be, they are in fact out there to completely overhaul your car even if it does not need any repairs; squeeze last penny from you in the name of fictitious vehicle faults. On September 26 2015 I took my Honda Civic there for Über’s mandatory annual inspection. To my surprise they found so many faults that my vehicle was almost fit to be scrapped! The estimate totalled around $ 1000. Mind it my vehicle has done only 63 000 miles and in an absolute tip top condition. They didn’t know that only two months ago in July 2015 I had my vehicle inspected by Honda of Kirkland and they found nothing wrong with it! I have that report with me and also the one concocted by this facility. Once confronted they had no explanation. I refused to be fleeced and decided to refuse any repairs. These guys know that if they fail your vehicle you cannot work for Über thereby losing your income. Most Über drivers succumb to this blackmail as they do not want to lose their daily bread and butter. Beware, I am sure they are doing the same to others too

If you call ahead of time and make an appointment, then you won’t run the risk of being turned away. Walk ins are generally frowned upon but they may offer drop-​off for oil changes, and you can collect your vehicle at the end of the day.
They are a very busy shop, and as I sit here in their waiting area, people have walked in late on their appts and aren’t happy when told they missed their opportunity, but can reschedule for another time or do the drop off option. That’s the customer’s own fault — don’t be upset with the techs! Too many adult spoiled brats expecting to get what they want when they want it.
Anyways, they’ve always been respectful and have never talked down to me. They took me into the garage to show me the exact issues on my car that they wanted to address, which I appreciate. They are constantly offering discounts, coupons, and deals so I don’t feel they are unreasonable.
They even offered the guests waiting sandwiches, chips & drinks today (special occasion). Nice dudes and I appreciate that they look out for their customers.

I came in for a vehicle inspection for rideshare driving. The guys were friendly and courteous. They worked quickly. I had a tire with a staple in it and they got that fixed quickly and at a discount with a sale. They talked me through everything clearly and were very helpful. I had a good experience.

This place is a scam. The guy tried to make me get me to pay $ 90 for an oil change I did not ask for. I had an oil change a few hundred miles ago. He tried to make me over pay for an air-​conditioning check and did not do the one well that I paid him to do. Never going back here.

I brought my car in to have my tires rotated and aligned. It turns out my car had bigger problems and needed much more work. The problem was when I went to pick it up they’d changed the air filter and put new windshield wipers on the car without ever mentioning that to me. I argued with the guy at the counter but it was late and the manager and tech were gone. He offered to discount the parts that they added on their own and I reluctantly agreed because it was late, I needed my car and was ready to go home.
I understand part of these guys job is to up sell up sell up sell but at least have the decency to ask before replacing parts. If you’re looking for an honest, trustworthy & professional auto shop I suggest you look elsewhere because this place is not one.
It’s been a couple weeks now and my car still doesn’t drive straight. I’ll never be back.

DO NOT GO HERE. It’s been so long since I was treated like a dumb girl, but that’s exactly what happened!
I was stuck on a Sunday with a flat. They told me they could match my tire, but they would have to get it from another store. The guy did NOT mention it would be a $ 15 Delivery fee attached to my bill.
He told me that I could drive on my spare until Tuesday, when I could just «pop in» so they could stick the wheel and tire on my car. Tuesday. Two days after I had the flat. Why? Because, they wouldn’t get the new tire in until the following afternoon. No idea why it should take that long to get one tire, but it does. They kept my wheel for the express purpose of doing the work with the tire and wheel before I arrived. Thank goodness I called first on Tuesday morning — they had no idea where the tire or wheel was! The guy told me to come on in and I would have to wait while they did all the work then. Ok… well I’ve got two small kids, so good luck to your waiting room still looking great by the time you’re done! Hah.
They took off the spare and got the wheel on the car, but then stood there scratching their heads at how to put back the spare for, and I’m not joking here, 30 MINUTES! They didn’t tell me what was going on, nor did they ask if I knew — which I didn’t. They completely dismantled the inside of my car, and then didn’t even have the courtesy of putting it back together properly. The tracks for my middle seating (I have a van) were sticking out, as well as the tracks for the floor mats being left unhooked, so that when I went to move the seat to put my child in the back, the mat got caught on the track.
I called the guy out to have him look, he went in to get someone else to fix it, who OBVIOUSLY had no idea, because they then had to have a conference about it, and then the guy who fixed it? Well, excuse me for having to do «extra» work — but he gave me attitude as well! I said thanks and he didn’t even acknowledge me on his way back inside. Have a great day, dude. Thanks a bunch. I won’t be going here. EVER.

If you are willing to turn down all their offers, and bring a coupon, you can get an oil change for fairly cheap here, but boy will they make you wait for it. I was told they were very free today, and that I could have my oil change done within 45 minutes, which seemed reasonable. I left, walked to the store to get some shopping done, came back 50 minutes later, and they hadn’t even brought my car to the back yet… What’s more, all the mechanics were just hanging around the water cooler (literally), when I got back, and it took them a solid hour more before they were finished.
Fair warning: If a $ 24 oil change sounds good to you, be ready to give up 2 hrs for it.

Sorry for the long review but it was needed.
I had my 2000 Mustang GT towed in to this shop for analysis and repair as it broke down about half a mile from their shop.
The manager John (or John) called me the next day and said that it needed fuel tank replacement and couple of other things with an estimate of 950 $. Since the car was not running, I did not have a choice but to accept.
He again called a few hours later and said that their previous analysis was a bit wrong and that it would be 1,100 $ now since it now needed the complete fuel set up to be replaced. That was the first alarm for me that these guys could be incompetent/​corrupt. I agreed to that as well and they went about fixing the car. They called me next day to notify that the car was ready to be picked up. I was in store to pick up the car and I asked John as to why was there a discrepancy in analysis and what was the cause of additional 200 $. He was very rude and gave an answer «I already told you on the phone. There was a miss in analysis. How would you like to pay?». I was taken aback by his rudeness but I just wanted my car fixed and nothing else. So I ignored it, paid the full amount of 1264 $, took the car and left. I was driving on the freeway and could sense some heavy smoke from the car exhaust. After about 5 miles, the car broke down on a busy street. I pulled the car to the curb and noticed that the car was leaking fuel. Obviously these guys had screwed it up. I called them and the guy who spoke to me was Elya (this guys was the only polite and reasonable guy in their store). Elya said that they would require me to get the car towed back in. I got the car towed back in that night back. The next afternoon upon analysis Elya called me and said that they had screwed up and that one of the connections (there are many) from the fuel tank was missed from securing while installation of the fuel tank cabinetry. I was disappointed and quite angry but could not do anything else but wait for them to fix it again. They did so and called me the next day to pick up. I expressed the desire to speak to the manager (John) that this was not acceptable and I should be compensated for loss of car for 2 days and my inconvenience (my car breaking down on a busy street emitting huge smoke in the middle of a freeway). The manager, John, is the rudest of the lot and probably the worst customer facing employee that I have seen ever. He conveniently slipped out of the store before I could get there. I got there at 6:30 PM and Elya said that he left for the day at 5 PM and that he was not in a position to talk to me. He out rightly refused to talk to me. I was not compensated a tiny bit but instead was met with insult. Anyways I took my car and was on my way. Now is the fun part.
I filled up gas in the car and noticed that the car could take in more gas than usual. My car’s fuel capacity is 13 gallons and the fuel meter ran beyond 13 and kept running till 14 and I stopped the fuelling at that point. I was puzzled and then had a hunch to bend down and see. That’s when I saw that the car was leaking fuel from the car’s rear side just below the fuel cap. AGAIN, the car was leaking fuel AGAIN. I paid well over a grand to these guys to fix one thing and that one thing malfunctioned twice after they fixed it. Then they kept the car with them for 5 days and fixed it. I finally took my car from them 9 days after I initially got it towed in to their shop.
I finally reached out to their head office in Bellevue and got a rental car for during the time I did not have my car (as these guys had refused to get me a rental car) and had cost of labor removed from my bill and had it credited. The head office folks were very responsive and may be so because they already may have had similar complaints out against this Firestone store in Redmond.
Conclusion:
I am in the service industry myself and I understand that things can go wrong some times. But what defines you as a company that cares about your customers is how you treat such situations and how you talk to your customers at those times.
What could they have done to better my experience with the store which they did not do?
a) Fix the car right the first time. They screwed up 3 times.
b) Be apologetic the first time they screwed up. The manager John who happily swiped my credit card for the money did not want to talk to me.
c) Be apologetic the second time they screwed up. John still did not talk to me until I threatened to take the matter to small claims court and threatened to tow my car out of their lot unfixed.
This is the worst car mechanic shop that I have encountered ever and I was looking for a way to give it 0.5 stars or no stars at all in the review but had to give it 1 star. They are incompetent technically and are rude to their customers. They have no idea of customer service and firmly believe they can get away with it. I would not recommend this to anyone even if they would service your car for free.

I walked in for an oil change and walked out with a $ 1500 estimate. The service rep was not able to give any convincing answers. Zero customer facing skills resulted in complete lack of trust. I think they do aggressive up sell.

Had another great service experience here. Took in my Acura RSX with 120K miles for regular oil change and service. Since I had purchased Lifetime Alignment, I asked them to re-​check the alignment because I was experiencing «micro vibrations» when going around 70 MPH or faster. They performed the re-​alignment and actually even re-​balanced the front wheels and problem solved. The car is now silky smooth and no more vibrations at speed. Also, the oil/​filter change was very cheap, about $ 20. At that price, why would anyone still do it at home?

Took my Toyota Camry to this shop because the engine stalls when stop and idle. Was told the idle air control valve need to be replaced and it would cost more than $ 900. Then called me again during the day said that the whole throttle body need to replace too and it would cost $ 1420. I asked if the parts can be cleaned or fixed and they said no. So I took my car back and spent $ 20 on tools then I cleaned up the throttle body now the car is back in working. Also, very aggressive up-​sell for tires. Not recommended.

I’ve had my Tahoe serviced here several times in the past 6 months and I’ve been mostly pleased. Their service is sometimes slower than I’d like, but I find their prices to be reasonable and they have handled some challenging warranty claims successfully (saving me some hassle). Their mechanics (Hunsaker, in particular) always take a couple extra minutes to give me pointers on work they’ve done (or things I can do). I sometimes feel like they are trying to upsell me, but I never feel pressured. Overall, I find them professional, friendly and they do good work — something I don’t expect from a large chain business.

Although we’ve purchased our tires at the Woodinville location, this review isn’t about the tires.
My wife’s car wouldn’t start and we happened to be in front of their shop. I was in the process of jumping her car as the gentleman from the store offered to use their jump box. Not only did they do that, they tested her battery and tightened the battery terminal.
They didn’t have to do any of this… they just did… so I’m giving them 5 stars for being good people.

Incompetent. Took my car in for an oil change, and unbelievably, they did not put in sufficient replacement oil! I’ve had to add 2.5 quarts myself. And no, the car is not leaking or burning oil. Will never go there again.

Twice now I have brought tires and wheels in to be mounted and balanced. First time they did an excellent job but charged me for valve stems and a disposal fee even though I brought the tires in and there was nothing to dispose. I also had installed new valve stems on the wheels so they never added new valve stems but charged me anyway. they did an excellent job of balancing my tires so I let the overcharge pass because I was happy. This time I brought in 4 more wheels and tires (High performance one directional tires) and I had already added new TPMS sensors to the wheels along with brand new TPMS installation kits. This time they mounted all 4 wheels to roll in the same direction so when I got home I noticed it and now tomorrow I have to go back and have the driver side wheels and tires changed. I also noted on the bill they had charged me for (4) tpms installation kits and labor to install them. I went and checked my wheels and saw that the same equipment I installed was still there so once again they had charged me for something they didn’t provide. Fool me once shame on them. Fool me twice shame on me. Once they fix my tires tomorrow I am done with Redmond Firestone. Their quality is slipping and I DON T TRUST THEM!!!
Update,
They just corrected the mismounted tires and gave me a free oil change for my troubles. When I asked them about the TPMS sensor charge they immediately went and refunded my money. Seems their computer automatically charges you for service whether you ask for it or not so watch your bill. If you just had new valve stems put on your wheels and you go in for tires you will get charged for new valve stems whether you need them or not. The mechanic will notice your stems are brand new and do nothing but they will be on your bill.
All in all they seem to be a good shop. They do a good job, they correct their mistakes, they try to make you happy. Just watch your bill. I brought them up from one star to two.
2^nd update. I took the tires and wheels home and mounted them on my car and drove it to Toyota of Kirkland for a wheel alignment. The car had a terrible vibration. I asked the Toyota dealer to check out the vibration before they did the alignment. There was one tire they couldn’t get to balance so they took it to Les Scwabb and even they couldn’t get it to balance. Bad tire I guess but Firestone said it was balanced just fine on their machine. I dropped off a new tire and they mounted and balanced it and the vibration was great improved. The two tires on the back had to be rebalanced as the dealership said the car still vibrated so I guess what i payed for a Firestone was $ 100 to mount 4 tires as their balancing wasn’t worth crap. These were chrome wheels with stick on weights and their tire tech didn’t even wipe the wheels down to clean off the installation lube before sticking on the weights. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to find the weights missing on the back tires. Anyway, the car is off to Discount tire in Kirkland for a rebalance. Now they are a A+ shop. They replaced my tire that was bad no charge even though I bought the set off of Ebay. Discount tire in Kirkland is now My Tire store
Stay away from Firestone in Redmond, stay far, far away.

I’ve used this place for oil changes, tire rotations and I purchased Snow Tires from them. I’ve been pleased with them even though they are a business of convenience and charge you accordingly. I do recommend purchasing and installing items you can such as Air Filters, etc.

Had a control arm replaced here a few years ago. For about 1100 dollars. What did I replace this last summer at a locally owned service shop? A control arm, the same one that I had replaced at Firestone the year before. Get your quotes at all your places before coming here guys.

Avoid these guys! I needed to fix a flat tire and stopped by their shop. They took the car and then came back 5 minutes later saying that they cannot repair the tire because the damage is close to the edge of the tire. They even had a demo piece of tire to show me why they cannot repair it. They recommended me two options — both of them were to buy and install a new Firestone tire from them with total cost more that $ 100.
All this sounded very suspicious to me. I asked them to install a spare, then went to a nearby Les Shwab. Les Shwab took the car and fixed the tire without any questions for $ 13. I am driving the car with the repaired tire for two weeks now and have not had any problems with it.
Update: I am driving the car for 8 months now with the tire fixed for $ 13 and have no problems with that tire at all. This confirms my review — the Firestone guys are total crooks.
