This has to be the worst salon ever. It took 45 minutes and two hairdressers to give my 8year old daughter the worst haircut she’s ever gotten. I had to stop the first stylist, when it became very clear that she could not cut her long strait hair in a strait line. The other one was able to manage that part, but the few layers she cut in the front came out very uneven and choppy. The first thing I did when I got home was to try to fix it myself; not good! I will never walk in there again.

Screaming kid, awful service when i first walked in with a hideous rep, the gal who cut my hair cut the bangs too short even though she said she wouldn’t, and just a terrible experience altogether.

I’m a girl, yes. But I’m easy to please when it comes to my hair– just cut it in one straight line every 2 – 3 months. Sounds easy right? That’s why I don’t like a lot of hassle, and I don’t expect to pay a lot of money. Great Clips is great for that. I walked in on a Monday afternoon, was immediately seated and instead of pretending to work magic(like many people do), Chase spent less than 10 minutes. My total: $ 7(plus a tip). What’s strange is that my receipt says«mystery hour» and reduces the normal $ 15 to $ 7. I guess Monday afternoon is the time to stop by? In any case, I’m happy!

Overall: Great place to have a hair cut whilst doing shopping in this area We visited Great Clips in Klahanie Village first when we got a coupon for a haircut for $ 4.99. My other half tried it out, as I was still dubious after my Hair MASTERS incident. I went along for the inspection and everything was good. When it was time for my two monthly trim, we decided to go to the one near Whole Foods, since it was just across the parking lot. For that reason it is very convenient to pop in for a hair cut then do the weekly shop. We both had our hair cut that time, both stylists were great(ask for Tam). The one guy working there is particularly good, he managed to give me a nice trim, thin my hair and layer it perfectly. I would highly recommend this place. No appointment is necessary, waiting times are short and their slogan is that«you’ll get exactly the haircut you ask for — guaranteed» Currently they are doing some scratch card promotion for customers, which gives 50% off ANY of their shampoo/conditioners/styling items –a great deal!
