I was nervous to join because I was envisioning an intense bootcamp program and I worried I’d be unable to keep up. I was scared I’d be there huffing and puffing, red-​faced, feeling like passing out. And you know what? I was right about that. I’m still there, huffing and puffing and red-​faced, but what makes me huff and puff now is so much more advanced than what I could do when I first began Kaia. I can see the difference in my strength levels and in my body — and others can see it too which is always the best part.
Kaia definitely challenges you and you’ll have sore muscles, but there is nothing to be afraid of! It is well worth the early morning start! Come to a class and see what all these 5 star reviews are talking about. See you there!

While searching for a personal trainer I came across Kaia Fit Redmond. I am so glad, as this program is much better for me than working with a personal trainer one on one.
I love the ladies only group atmosphere and the excellent coaching and support from Shawna, trainer and owner of Kaia Fit Redmond. The nutritional support and very comprehensive healthy recipe cookbook during the BRIK session I found very helpful.
Shawna helps me with the modifications I need to keep my body healthy while growing stronger. After my first six weeks with Kaia I can see and feel the results. I love the Kaia philosophy that we are «athletes of life». Anyone can become more fit with Kaia!

Some friends encouraged me to join Kaia in Redmond, but the 6am start was a little early for me. However, when they began offering a 7.30am start, I figured I’d give it a go… and it was one of the best decisions I ever made concerning my fitness. What I like about the classes is that they’re ladies-​only, so there’s no reason to feel self conscious or worry that you don’t look cute by the end of a grueling hour of exercises targeted for women’s bodies. It also doesn’t matter if you’re totally fit already or are just starting out on your path to fitness… everyone operates at a different level and everyone is super encouraging. When you first go, you think there’s no way you’re ever going to be able to do 30 burpees in a row, but believe me when I say it’s just a matter of weeks or months before you’re slamming them out… ok, you’re groaning at the same time, but it’s still more than you ever thought you’d be able to do!
But I think the best thing about these Kaia classes besides the inches lost off your hips, thighs, and waist, and the leaps forward you can make in your strength and endurance, is that there are opportunities to make some genuinely fantastic friends along the way. I know I did, and that alone encouraged me to attend every class and keep signing up for the next session as soon as one ended (sessions last for 5 or 6 weeks).
If you’re hesitating because you hate gyms and all those intense classes where everyone is already slim and toned and they look like they’ve been doing it for years and you worry that you won’t fit in or feel coordinated, then give Kaia a go. The Kaia classes are not like that at all. They’re hard, but full of ladies from all different age and fitness ranges. Contact Shawna the instructor (she’s SUPER friendly and accommodating); she will chat with you about how supportive the environment is and how chill it can be. You can definitely commit to 5 weeks to see if you like it or not… you can do yourself that favor: D

Kaia fit has been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it if you are looking to start a fitness routine or try something new. Everyday is a different workout so you never get board. And Shawna, the instructor, is obviously excited to be there and incredibly supportive! The community of women who participate is so much fun and everyone is there to help each other out. I definitely noticed an improvement in my strength and how far I could push myself each day. Definitely check it out!

I tried Kaia out through their groupon and I loved the program. It’s a really great workout, my heart was always pumping! Everyday is different so it’s fun to see what’s planned for each day and Shawna is very supportive with offers of different levels for each exercise.
I especially loved the fit tests every few weeks. I was amazed at the improvement in my fitness level after just 3 weeks, especially in exercises I always felt I was dying in. I immediately felt stronger and so proud of my accomplishment.
It’s a very supportive fun group, no judgements.

I first came to Kaia through a special offer in Groupon. I absolutely loved the experience with Shawna and the girls. Shawna makes you feel part of the gang right from the start, and she cares about your progress in a way that few fitness trainers do. The work out hours are quite convenient for working women and the weekend trail run is so wonderful and specially picked by Shawna so you can really enjoy the adventure (I hate running… a lot. But the weekend trail run was so much fun that I had to do it again by myself just for kicks).
The program increases intensity as you go. Every single session is different from the previous one and it is guaranteed that you will find muscles you didn’t even know they existed just because you’ll be sore after every class (the good kind of pain, that is).
I am looking forward to starting another bootcamp with the girls. It is difficult to get bored with these ladies. They are so much fun!

I tried out Kaia Fit Redmond, during their free demo days, and I was immediately hooked! Shawna (the coach and owner) is so warm and welcoming! I have been struggling to find a way to exercise and stick with it, as I am not the fittest person around. Every day is a different workout. I have worked muscles I didn’t even know I had! The other ladies in my 6 am class are awesome! Come try out a class, you won’t regret it!
