I don’t work here but I did attend a presentation here on Unconscious Bias sponsored by Ascend. This conference center is very nice. There are many rooms with screens that direct which one you should be going to. There are free drinks, many water coolers, a variety of seating and gathering areas with pens and paper for quick notes. The conference rooms themselves are spacious and have everything you need in there for a successful workshop or presentation. I observed the supply cabinets and the tech capabilities they had and were jealous we didn’t have these in the conference rooms where I work! We also were treated to a buffet and open bar. What’s not to love?!

As a Microsoft employee, I find myself here every so often for a talk or conference. Some conference rooms are far superior to others(you’re lucky if you’re in Kodiak – table and outlet right in front of you at every seat), but I guess which one you snag depends on your luck and event size. The common areas can get a bit cramped for space during mealtime rushes, especially if a conference is being hosted. Otherwise, I have had no qualms attending events here. The staff have always been knowledgeable and helpful.

It’s a conference center. Or more specifically, a place a business for some of us. While I don’t exactly trust the goings on of the planning team, I have absolute faith in the Audio Visual and Network Operations departments to make the events and shows go off very well. They are knowledgable and very helpful. The front desk staff is also ver courteous and genuinely good natured.
