Food was pretty good. I had the mac and cheese and poutine fries, however the service was a little holier than thou. There seemed to be an air about serving people from the«city”/Bend. If i owned a restaurant establishment, I would be happy to serve people from all walks of life.

Horrible. 15 $ for decent shepherd pie. The worst poutine ever. Never again. What more to say?

One waitress to tend the bar and serve 25 people? Food was not great, bangers were dry and mash was watery. The best part was their chocolate desert. The skipper liked his shepherds pie made with ground buffalo

The staff was outstanding, the beer ice cold, the burger perfect, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Nothing like an authentic Brit serving you in a British pub! I’ll be back!

First time here tonight. Was close to home and wanted to check it out finally. Great beer choices on tap(because that IS important) ! Had the special *bison Shepards pie* and it was pretty dang delicious. Husband ordered fish and chips and as critical as he can be… He was pleasantly surprised! Yay! Great service from the friendly welcoming bartender. Will definitely be walking to this place during the warm summer months to enjoy their outdoor patio and yummy offerings. P. S. The chocolate pig dessert is AMAZING!!!

Super well priced Imperial pints, good selection too. Kind and friendly service. Scotch egg groovy but lacked a bit of spunk(like I wished I had my Tony’s shaker ya know). Pickled onions and mustard on it were top notch! Rest of the meal was spot on… wonderful hand cut fries. Aww yeah.

Great feel good food and a decent selection of beer. Very relaxed place to go. And the fries are amazing. The sauces taste like they are made in house. I don’t like ketchup but I like theirs.

I ate here for lunch and found the place to be quite charming. The waitress was incredibly nice and the food was very good. I had a daily special that was an open-face meatloaf sandwich with beer gravy and a side of fries. The only two minor gripes that I had were the homemade ketchup(too sweet or my tastes) and the price. It was just a tad spendy for lunch. Overall I think the Pig and Pound is worth checking out. Good food and a nice atmosphere.

I wanted to like the fish and chips but felt the portion size was a bit too small. The broccoli salad was dry. Friendly service though.

I enjoy Bitish style pubs and found the Pig and Pound delightful. The service was great, even with a full house, and waitress was cheerful and patient when answering my questions. My bangers and mash was excellent as was my wife’s fish and chips. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend this place for something out of the ordinary.

Always fabulous, friendly service. Great brews on tap, and I can say from personal experience, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend trying one of the chocolate pigs if you get the chance.

A wounderful neighborhood place to hang out and have a cold beer and awesome food selections. There mushrooms and onion rings are the best in town. The service is incredible, they set the standard. Try this place you won’t be disappointed, great for meeting friends and relaxing.

A quaint British pub/bar in Redmond Oregon that offers fish and chips, bangers and mash, plus daily food specials, a fab burger, appetizers(scotch eggs!) and LOTS of ale and wine to choose from. Fish is coated in a house-made beer batter and served up crisp on the outside with moist and tender fish on the inside. Ample portion. Tarter sauce and ketchup was an upgrade to the standard restaurant quality. Delish coleslaw of their own doing. Nice outdoor seating which is family-friendly. Nice bartender and waitstaff. Relaxed atmosphere. Off the beaten path yet close.

Food is good, actually really good. We had the Fish and Chips and Macaroni. Would definitely like to try the Bangers and Mash. The service was slow, I mean really slow. Only one waitress in the place that was also pouring drinks while being hit on by a full of himself self proclaimed restaurateur who was drunk. The place is clean, but small. You really can’t carry on a conversation without feeling like you are talking to everyone in the place which made it all that much worse to try to enjoy a meal in the presence of an inebriated loud mouth. They had a decent selection of beers and wine. I felt sorry for the waitress when I asked if they had anything on Nitro. I was hoping for Guinness with the thought I would order my Grandma a Black and Tan. She was defensive and apologetic explaining to me that they were way too small for something like that. So clearly she had been asked that question way too many times.

What a great find! As other reviewers have posted, the ambience was inviting and comfortable. Our group ordered the stroganoff and fish and chips. OMG both entrees were fantastic. The stroganoff was just like grandma’s. Creamy and full of flavor made with prime rib steak. Yummy! The fish and chips were the best I have ever had. Lightly battered and cooked to a golden brown. The fish was completely cooked and moist. It melted in my mouth. The homemade tartar sauce was creamy and outstanding. Everything was homemade and very tasty. Those who ordered the stroganoff considered licking their plates but there were too many other patrons in the restaurant. Following a great meal, we tried a dessert called the chocolate pig. We ordered one to split between 4 people. After the first bite, we ordered another of this decadent dessert. A wonderful finish to a great meal. The owner/bartender/waiter was friendly and attentive to all. It was a wonderful evening and cannot wait for the weather to improve so I can eat outside.

Decided to try this place out, wasn’t bad at all, from what I’ve read about it, ya the service was kinda slow, had the dude with the dreadlocks, polite and talkative until they started getting busy. didn’t try any of the beers just had iced tea, started out with there artichoke heart dip, I give it a 4 out of 10 .its more of an appetizer when your having drinks .to me it tasted like Velveeta mixed with there own spices. chips were baked/warmed .But the fish and chips were the best I’ve had in a long long time. Definitely a must to try… All n all it seams like a place to try. will come back and try something else later I do recommend this place just not the artichoke dip.

My husband and I came here for dinner when we were staying at Brasada Ranch. My husband and I really love these types of eating establishments. So I knew this was the place for us. Warning, this place is small and full of locals. When it gets too cold to eat outside, there is not a lot of places to sit inside. They have a few tables and a bar. They knew we were outsiders when we walked in, but they were super nice. The food was great but different than expected. They also have a house ketchup. We live pretty far away and don’t find ourselves in this part of Oregon too often. So we won’t be regulars. If you are traveling in this area, I highly recommend eating here.
