I mostly visit for the coffee. It’s always made with a lot of care, they serve very tasty lattes. The doughnuts just happen to be a nice side effect of going for coffee, I usually get a lemon glazed doughnut if it’s available(otherwise the raspberry glazed). Doughnuts are good, but the coffee is better. Small interior, but I’ve never gone and not been able to get a table. Worth the trip, if only for the coffee, not the worst doughnuts though.

We were shopping at Jock & Jill when my husband realized he needed his caffeine fix. After making our purchase, we wandered over to Top Pot. He ordered a medium iced and I ordered a small non fat chai. While I can’t comment on the coffee(he did say it was okay), I can positively review their chai. It wasn’t sweet and had more of a spicy kick to it — exactly how I like it. It is on the pricier side(on par with Starbucks… if not more!). The fact they have games to play(connect 4, yahtzee, etc), bumped their rating in my book.

Oddly enough, I don’t go here that for the doughnuts as much as I do the coffee. I mean their doughnuts are delicious, but their coffee is top notch. And every time I go in there, the staff is in a great mood, more than happy to answer questions, and very helpful. I’m impressed with this place a lot and really love going here. The only real complaint I have it parking in that area but that’s not exactly Top Pot’s fault. P. S. I highly recommend their Bavarian cream filled chocolate doughnut. It’s a sugar bomb but so, so good.

I’ve never heard of this place before but a donut sounded awesome and the employees were both incredibly friendly and made me the best coffee I’ve ever had to compliment my super yummy donut. I could seriously come here every single day for the rest of my life.

I’m addicted, and must stop going here so frequently. The ovaltine doughnut is my favorite, or perhaps the Bavarian cream filled chocolate doughnut. The espresso is very tasty, good quality. The folks behind the counter are super nice!

Stopped by on my way home because I felt like something sugary on a Sunday afternoon. The store was completely empty, which is maybe a sign. The interior was kind of dark and boring. I didn’t even look at the pricing, just the doughnuts. Nothing looked spectacular, but I settled on a Feather Boa, a Raspberry Bull-Eye, and a Maple Chocolate Cake on the recommendation of a cashier. I was very surprised when the price was $ 8 for 3 doughnuts. The doughnuts were completely underwhelming — not enough raspberry(artificial), dry cake doughnut, and not even the tiniest hint of maple taste in the maple frosting. I didn’t finish a single one, which is a travesty. For almost $ 3 a doughnut, I was expecting amazingness. Alas, I just got boring doughnuts that I would put in a category right below grocery store bakery. Needless to say, I will not be back. Sunrise Donuts for me it is, until I find something better.

Sorry… Too heavy, too sweet and too expensive. I’ll go to Sunrise in Redmond or Factory in Kingsgate.

Zero stars. Walked to the DOUGHNUT shop to buy DOUGHNUTS and they have NO doughnuts! Not a single doughnut to buy!

The coffee is so good! The americano is my favorite, can really taste the good coffee beans on this one :) The girls are very nice as well so makes your coffee stop even better! The convenience is also a plus!

Stopped by to pick up a dozen donuts but was kind of shocked to find that a dozen cost $ 19.99. They had a pretty standard selection of donuts to choose from. Probably if I had seen something really unique I might have bought a dozen but there wasn’t anything special or unique about what I saw. The staff member was nice and the place was clean and organized so I didn’t want to give 2 stars when everything else was fine.

I don’t get what all the fuss is about with these donuts. I saw something on the cooking channel raving about Top Pot doughnuts in Seattle and my experience was not the experience described on TV. Maybe it is just this location, but the doughnuts were not very fresh. They were pretty small(which is not a problem if the quality is outstanding, which it wasn’t) and they seem really overpriced for doughnuts, even for the Seattle area. I was just really underwhelmed.

There’s no question that the donuts are great: fresh and fun flavors. I’m partial to the one with pink icing and coconut, while my kid is a fan of the classic chocolate bars. The coffee is pretty good too. The staff here is super friendly and, at least when I’ve gone by, there’s no problem finding street parking, and no line, so points for that. I do find this location’s seating a little unappealing. It’s dark and toward the back of the store — why? I would much rather sit in the front and watch the activity on the sidewalk. But that’s me. The donuts are still great so we stop here fairly often and never regret our selections.

I love me a good doughnut and this place makes GREAT doughnuts! While my expectations were lack there of I was seriously impressed by their classic glazed doughnut and coffee. Lemme tell you about that coffee. Mmm.mm. It’s a great rich robust flavor. Not watery or weak like I had expected. I really like this location too. It’s within great walking distance of Redmond and the staff are super friendly. Please be advised to get there early for your doughnut fix — they sell out fast!

So went back after almost a year. Still not fresh! Donuts are cold and taste old. I would not recommend and encourage everyone to go to a donut shop that makes their donuts onsite! Hot fresh donuts can’t be beat! Old stale donuts are the worse. Sorry for the poor review but your donuts are not yummy.

Love me some Top Pot doughnuts! My favorites are the old fashioned doughnuts. Any of them will do, but plain glazed is my go-to. Or pumpkin glazed when it’s in season. But really, any old fashioned doughnut is one worth trying. Don’t even worry about the other ones — they honestly pale in comparison(except maybe the maple bar). The old fashioned doughnuts are where it’s at! Also, don’t forget about their awesome coffee — it’s one of my favorites, and goes perfectly with any OLDFASHIONED doughnut. The nice thing about the Redmond location is the coffee is cheaper here than it is in Seattle. Seating is somewhat limited, especially on the weekends, but it’s still delicious!

We stopped by here for a snack, and I have to say that the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. While this Top Pot is smaller than the one I’m used to, there was a pretty limited selection of doughnuts(and we were in there on a Saturday afternoon), with several options only have one or two left. That said, the salted caramel old fashioned that we did order was pretty tasty, although it was a bit dry. Service was also unremarkable, although the people at the counter were friendly enough. There were a few empty unbussed tables there, and there was a dish tray for people to actually bus their own tables, so I’m not sure if they were waiting for those people to come back and clean their tables or what. On the upside, there are board games you can play while you eat your donuts, and also books you can borrow. I’m not sure how many donuts you can eat while you play a game of scrabble, but hey, it’s something. There’s limited parking in the area, and although there’s a lot across the street, it’s designated for use by Subway and the mattress shop.

Pretty good flavor, but my fritter was really cold and a bit dense. Definitely was not fresh. None of our donuts were very fresh. I’m sure these are pretty good if you could get one a bit more fresh. They must make them off site and a day ahead or something. Coffee was the best part of the morning. Pretty sure I could have gotten a warm donut at another place in town more local.

Eh… It was ok. The donuts weren’t as good as I was expecting. The guy behind the counter was clearly reciting a mandatory customer service script when he was asking if we wanted any coffee or beverages, in the most«I couldn’t give a crap» tone that I’ve ever heard. Absolutely no parking near this location so that’s pretty inconvenient. I was going to give this place three stars, but then I realized I didn’t have a single positive thing to say about this business. Two stars it is. Meh!

We finally stopped in about a year after they opened. The layout of this space is really poor. Even if there are only a few customers waiting in line to order or waiting for their drinks, no matter where you stand you are in someone’s way. I can’t imagine it when it gets busy. The doughnuts are great(cake doughnuts are my favorite kind), though a little pricey. However, I was not impressed with my drink: my chai latte basically just tasted like steamed milk. And my husband’s mocha was not very mocha-y at all. We were in a small hurry and we waited almost 10 minutes for our drinks. Enough time to eat our doughnuts and peruse the various games and puzzle books offered for those looking for a little entertainment with their doughnuts. And, try to grab street parking if you can. Getting in and out of the parking garage is a little ridiculous.
