UPS Customer Center

I always unlucky here. Waiting for long time and servos toooooooo slow. They need more quick service and need more worker here!!! 10 customers for 1 register person. Horrible!!! But always need to come to pick up my package bcz required my signature. I hated to come here!!!

If I could give this store negative stars I would. This ups branch/​customer center sucks. Drivers aren’t coordinated with dispatch or anyone from the warehouse. I have UPS choice and instead of calling me with a question about my package they opted to just not deliver it but say they made an attempt. Well you didn’t because I was home ALL day and not one ups driver drove into my neighborhood. I had next day air for 10:30am delivery I might add.
So customer service was called and I was given nothing but excuses and no real answers as to where’s my package and how I could get it. So I go to this store and the lady just shrugs her shoulders and tells me to come back at 6:30pm. Well I told her online says this location closes at 6:30pm. She said no 8pm. So you people can’t even figure out how to inform customers your business hours.
Being from Bellevue this drive was beyond inconvenient and could of easily been avoided had UPS done more to figure out my address because apparently that was the reason they gave me for my item not being delivered. However I don’t believe that for a second because I wasn’t provided my tracking number from the sender. My ups choice however knew that package was coming to me based off of my ADDRESS.
Bottom line: Don’t use ups. You’re better off using the post office and getting a REAL answer from them if something goes wrong. Not to mention it’s cheaper too. These people are over paid to do nothing but have their thumbs up their butts.

They don’t even deserve one star.
Seems like they lost the package, but they keep telling me they’ve returned it to the sender due to the damage on the package, and another one tells me it was delivered to my apartment management office.
Checked with my office, and they didn’t get anything and told me UPS didn’t even stop by on the delivery date.
They never apologize about their fault, and don’t even try to resolve the problem.
Stopped by this location twice, called in customer service four times. Nothing changed.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and they are RUDE. Worst customer service ever.

Outstanding customer support, the man who was at the center helped me to find solution and ship the box of unusual size. He actually was VERY GOOD at his job and he CARED to help. It’s such a rarity these days that worth mentioning.

Everything started as soon as the clock hit 8PM. I assumed that would be «at end of the day» in the UPS vocabulary. I spent the next hour looking out the window while searching for other people’s late hour delivery times. Finally, I gave up, even so the tracking status showed «Out for delivery». Next morning (today) the tracked status was moved to «In transit — reschedule»; underneath was a remark that it will be delivered today, but it was not «Out for delivery».
I jumped in my car and went to the «Customer Center» on Union Hill in Redmond. I had a print screen with both statuses, yesterday’s and today’s. Besides the fact that those people believe to be untouchable due to their stupid union membership, they are not born to help customers. They should never even come in contact with customers. Starting with bad attitude and ending with the upper hand telling that I will have to wait until next day even if I was there and he confirmed that my package was in their possession and delayed by a day already…
It took me two hours to find out from a friend with inside knowledge that this is how unionized organizations work; if the dude responsible for looking after the package isn’t there, no other dude is allowed to do that job even if he could; even if it meant to look into a bin.
I knew that unions are taking this country down, but it was never this kind of obvious to me before.
Next time if vendors offer the option I will stay away from them; I stopped shipping my stuff with these guys many years back.
One star is not deserved!

They do not even deserve one star. They always delay my orders, and recently they delayed my order to more than 10 days. I ordered my order on 02/​12/​2016 and the expected date is on 02/​23/​2016. This is ridiculous. On top of that the equipments are most of the time damaged.

I get deliveries at my home all the time. For whatever reason, their temp holiday driver decided to not leave a package at my door. I called as soon as I got the text notice, and was told it was here.
Almost three hours later after being told it was already at the redmond location, I show up. I am told that the driver hasn’t returned, and they have NO way to contact or track the driver. Really? With the technology now, you can’t call the driver? Track his gps? Nothing? And why, when I called three hours earlier, did they tell me it what here? Rude and incompetent.

A UPS delivery requires signature, and amazingly, will not accept a signature on the back of the slip.
I was forced to create some sort of «UPS choice» to manage my delivery, only to discover that UPS has determined that «blah blah apt205» is different from «blah blah unit205» and doesn’t consider the address to match. Therefore, I can’t change delivery options. The identify theft confirmation questions are clear for another person with my same name (so I failed multiple tries), and the mailing option is 2 – 5 days to get a confirmation code — by that time the package probably won’t even be in Redmond anymore.
By the time I get my confirmation code, they have already exhausted all 3 of their «Attempts» and now charge $ 5, even if I just want to go pick it up. It’s their screw up, for not matching the address correctly, and yet I have to pay the cost.
UPS is just terribly, terribly run, and amazingly inflexible. Maybe in an age where everyone had a stay-​at-​home housewife, it made sense.

They can ship from China to AK in 1 day. Then Redmond to Kirkland is estimated to be 5 days. UPS Redmond is rubbish.

Wow. UPS continues to amaze me. With our business open, they chuck the package on the front porch and don’t bother to tell anyone. A SECOND package in the truck, they haul back to Redmond and mark it «delivered.» The ONLY service that I’ve found worse than UPS is the USPS, but there are similarities in that often it is too much trouble for the driver to haul his ass out of the truck and actually knock on the door. Newsflash: Sometimes businesses actually USE these newfangled devices called «blinds.»
I must admit that maybe UPS deserves an additional star because, unlike USPS, they don’t have a reputation of «going postal.» However, considering the number of problems we’ve had in the past month (we get a LOT of deliveries and have more issues with UPS than even USPS)…not feeling particularly charitable.

UPS is non functional. They wont leave packages even if I leave a note and they’re Mychoice BS signup is unnecessary. If the manager cant override a drivers decision, can they really call themselves a manager? I’d say no and the whole company is a joke; I’ve never received a package the day it was supposed to be there.

Ok normally I don’t review on Unilocal,but I am legitimately mad at UPS in Redmond and I rarely get angry about businesses. Warning: long read.
I am on a business trip to Seattle and am staying at a friend’s house on Mercer Island. I’m staying for a few weeks, and I end up ordering a critical piece of equipment to help me do my job. I payed for 1-​day shipping, and the package is supposed to come on Friday by 8pm: this is the only information I’m given by Amazon, and I am signed up for text alerts. I needed this package on Friday, because I have to work early on Monday. I had to sign for the package because the item is worth over $ 2,000. Well, come Friday at around 4pm, the UPS guy comes without calling or letting us know in any way that he was coming.
This should have been fine, because there were 3 people at home at the time, one on each floor of the house. However, somehow ALL of us missed him, because he apparently didn’t ring the doorbell, didn’t knock on the door, or exert literally any effort to let us know he was there. My friend’s mother went to go put something in the dumpster by the street, and she SAW this guy run to his truck and jump in. Despite her screaming at his vehicle to please stop and her literally following his vehicle in her car, he was long gone.
This was only the beginning. Upon receiving a text from Amazon that delivery had been attempted and failed, I called UPS. For the first call, at around 4:25, the automatic customer service told me that someone from the customer center would call me within the hour to arrange a same-​day pickup. I called about 30 minutes later at around 5:00 and was assured by the human representative that I would be called by the distribution center within the hour. Naturally, they NEVER called me or left a message.
At about 5:45 I started to get anxious because I hadn’t received the call and the UPS center was closing soon. I decided to hop in my rental car and make the half hour drive to Redmond to talk to these people myself. The line was fairly short when I got there, so I thought I was in the clear. I thought wrong. When it was my turn, I gave one of the two guys working there the label that the driver had left on our door, and filled him in on the entire scenario. He goes into the back for a bit, and when he comes out he tells me that the driver won’t be back until very late because he has quite a few stops to go. He then says «you probably won’t get your package today.» He doesn’t say anything about when I should be able to pick the package up, only that they are closed tomorrow. Mind you, this is a DISTRIBUTION CENTER and it is closed on Saturday, unlike most UPS facilities. Unbelievable.
At this point I leave the building, because the guy has been a jerk to my face the entire time and talked down to me as if I was stupid. I am the kind of guy who doesn’t want confrontation, so rather than just asking for his manager, I leave because I actually want to punch this man in the face. After calling UPS customer service yet again, the lady tells me I will have to come in to pick it up during a two-​hour window on Monday morning. Obviously, this isn’t good for me because I have to work, but I can’t let it go any longer because I need it for my job and I have to fly home at the end of the week. I will have to ask someone to go pick it up for me, and of course this is a huge inconvenience for both them and myself.
TL;DR: If you have a time-​sensitive package and a choice of carriers in the Seattle area, DO NOT trust UPS. These people are rude, incompetent, and their customer service representatives will straight up lie to you over the phone. My UPS guy in the LA area is great and I’ve never had a problem with their distribution center, so this is likely a management problem specific to Redmond. Don’t trust these guys.

The instructions were «pick up your package between 7:30 — 8»
Showed up at 7:30. 19 people in line. One person working. They close at 8.
How in the world do you expect to serve everyone with 1 person? The people in line are even offering to help.
Edit– there’s some guy wandering around in a UPS suit… He might be helping… He might be lost. We can’t tell.

I ordered a product on Saturday. i paid almost $ 30.00 for three day delivery. Now on Thursday afternoon they tell me its not been three days. They said they do not count the Monday they got it so delivery may be as late as 7:00 PM tonight. meanwhile my crew is wasting their time as I thought three days was really three days,
IF UPS thinks the first does not count they should be honest and tell you that in BIG print, or they should call it four day service.

This place is the worst. Don’t go here if you can avoid it.
I bought something on eBay and the shipper used UPS. I tracked it and saw it was at the shipping center here and was supposed to be delivered to my house tomorrow. I had the evening free tonight and since I wouldn’t be home until late tomorrow, decided I would stop by the Customer Center and pick it up instead of waiting to get it delivered.
The employee was blasting AC/​DC from the break room, and came out still chewing her sandwich or whatever she was eating when she heard me walk in. I told her why I was there and gave her the tracking number. She told me the package had been scanned in at 3pm but was sitting on the dock and hadn’t been off-​loaded yet (it was 6:15 by that point). She said there were «probably four thousand packages back there» and that the crew that off-​loaded them wouldn’t arrive until 10:30pm that night. So I couldn’t get my package. Which was for sure on the lot. Sorry, out of luck, nothing you can do.
Terrible customer service. I will not be using this place again if I can avoid it.

These people seem slower than molasses.

First the parking spots near the front entrance are full of rental trucks and UPS trucks, customers have to park far away
Now I went there to pick up a package on 12/​24, not the best time! They only have 2 persons at the counter, not good as the waiting line went on and on!!! Finally other UPS people came to help but not there regular task, so they could not find the package in the back…
All I have to say is that the UPS people there tried their best, management fail them!!!

Having trouble understanding why UPS would rather spend the fuel to drive my package from Redmond to Issaquah 3 days in a row and attempt delivery when I’m not home, rather than just leaving it at the Issaquah UPS store right near my place for me to pick up since theyll be out there anyway.
Let me clarify, they’ll do it, they just want to charge me for it. I suppose it makes sense, I mean why would they want to make things convenient for their customers.

I ordered stuff online and they tried to delivered twice and I wasn’t home. Therefore, I called them to request pickup.
It’s just a few blocks away from my office. I used my lunch time and walked over to pick up my package! When I walked in, I looked very confused. Someone in the office immediately asked me if I needed help. Then, I gave her my tracking number. She was able to get me in and out within two minutes.
I am happy with this place! Friendly and fast service!

Wow, this page is full if really elitist, self-​absorbed individuals with crazy high expectations.
There is no postal service in the world that does an «excellent» job — there is no one in this universe who will ship your items within 2 minutes of your purchase, and deliver it to you in your lap while you sit at your computer for $ 1. This is a service, and it is prone to human error just like anything else. It also costs the same as most other postal services out there. Don’t be an asshole and give this place bad reviews just because your expectations were ridiculously high.
I often pick up my Sephora packages here — I’ve probably come up 6 – 8 times now. While it’s a bit out of the way, their online site is really reliable and gives accurate, up-​to-​date shipping information with your tracking numbers. I like that my items will stay there for up to 5 business days, which gives me ample time to get down to Redmond if I can’t make it that day.
The postal workers are kind and try to move as quickly as possible. It’s not necessarily THEIR fault that your package isn’t within an arm’s reach, so there’s no need to harp on them. They’re really patient, too. They’ve never handed me a package that was damaged or dented in any way, and as long as you have ID they are willing to work with you.
I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line (given that postal problems usually take the longest and they only have 1 – 2 available people to help you at a time, that’s actually a miracle).
