I tried to give the owners some advice on how to service customers but they didn’t want to hear it. Classic problem. Great food, hit and miss service. Too many people standing around while the line grows. Too long to process orders. It doesn’t surprise me in the least that they closed down. Could have been great but not properly managed… sad.

Great, but it’s closed as a 1÷25÷16. There’s a handwritten sign saying«Closed, we’re moving» but doesn’t say to where…

Checked and called said the store closes at 10. Drove and arrived by 9:10 and walked in(place had open signs up and 10 closing sign) with the tables filled walked to the back to order and was told they closed the registrar down early and are closed for the night all before 930 — I would driven to another location that closes at 930 for food instead of wasting my time coming to this location for them to close early on a Friday night. So disappointed!

I think Chipotle is better. I stopped just to test the place and see if it was tasty. I can’t say I would recommend this to anyone. I will never eat here again.

Weeman! This location has his name stamped and its in a shared lot with a CVS. So parking is usually not a headache and you can even park on the streets if you find spots. The food here is fresh and speaks for itself. I like the fish or shrimp versions. The the only hit and miss is some of the staff here. I believe the line could be arranged better because I asked for a grilled version of fish but at first, I got fried. Then when I try to get extra sauce for my food I already got, the girl accidentally put sauce on someone else´s tacos.(Sorry stranger!). Then I asked for a lid for the side from the cashier and he gave me the lids to the salsa. Other than that, they have Stone´s IPA and Dos Equis on draft, a full bar, and a nice courtyard. Chronic Tacos does a lot of charity work, including for kids with down syndrome. Awesome for being such a great company!

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. I was in town visiting a friend and whenever I’m in CA, my plan is fish tacos for almost every meal. I hop on Unilocal and see what places are recommended and go to as many as possible. Chronic Tacos did not disappoint. I got my tacos with a side of rice and beans and it was too much to eat in one sitting; I took some home for a snack later. Love that they have a good selection of vegetarian options too(yes, I know, that’s California!).

Foods’ fantastic! I got the carne asada burro and was stuffed! It tasted somewhat like Chipotle meets Filibertos. I felt like I was eating inside a Jackass movie set. Our cashier was a midget so that made it more awesome! At first I believed it be Wee-Man, but this bro was a la-ti-no! Got a lot of Wee-Man suvineers. Right by the beach, so it felt nice leaving the place. Highly recommended.

Tried this place out on my lunch break and I must say it was pretty good. I got the fish burrito and I really enjoyed it. It was stuffed with everything I wanted especially cheese. It took no time to get my order and the customer service was great. I like the location with it being close to the beach. They also had a bar section which is nice but a little too early for me haha. All in all its a really good Mexican restaurant to eat at

I’ve had other Chronic Tacos and they all pretty much taste the same. PROS: great location by the beach and it’s easy to find. The food was great and so was the customer service. CONS: I was not able to get my booze on! They haven’t renewed their liquor license. Over all I will return!

Jason Acuna recently aided my girlfriend in raising funds for the Beach Cities Relay for Life and was an absolute pleasure. He came out to the store for about two hours during their dinner rush to take pictures, make sure everyone’s experience/food was to their liking. A portion of all sales made with reference to the Beach Cities Relay for Life event was donated to the cause. The event was great, Jason is all smiles, he runs a clean store, talks with his guests and so much more. Thank you to Jason and his staff for the good vibes, sharing his support with Relay for Life and being a great host.

I’ve been wanting to try Chronic Tacos for a while, glad I finally made it in. I had the Chronic salad with pollo asada, the chicken was very tasty. Service was great and was greeted by the very friendly owner, Wee Man. It’s a great fast food option, I would return.

So so soooo disappointed! I LOVE Chronic Tacos in Newport Beach and Long Beach both places have had great food and stellar service but what happened to Redondo Beaches location? I have no idea! First off they dont acknowledge their customers right away. Secondly the beans were stuck and dried against the container. The steak was dry and the rice was not fully cooked. The cleanliness and presentation of everything was an absolute mess. And to top it off they were okay with this customer just walking right up in front of the line and ordering before everyone who had been waiting. I am very disappointed in this location and will not be back which is sad because I frequent the Newport location and think that the Redondo location could definitely take notes.

This place is hit and miss. In fairness, we’ve been to other Chronic Tacos that are much better as far as service and facility management. Our last visit(and probably very last) to the Torrance location was a poor experience, to say the least. It was only 6:30 p.m. and we were told that they ran out of beer battered fish… the only reason we went! We ended up getting the grilled fish tacos… what a mistake! We really look forward to dinner time after a long day at work. Who doesn’t? It’s our time to unwind and decompress. So this experience left us feeling like visiting this particular Chronic Tacos was a complete destruction and waste of our time. To try and pass those tacos off as «food,» what a supreme disappointment. The fish tasted like it had just been thawed after having been frozen a few times prior. An absolute waste of time and stomach space. The service was equally as poor. There’s nothing like walking into a restaurant and feeling like you’re an inconvenience to the servers. And did I mention the smell of the establishment? It literally, and I’m not embellishing, smelled like a public restroom. The entire restaurant! We were going to dine in, but couldn’t take the latrine odor. Whoever was mopping the bathroom decided it was a good idea to swish the mop in the toilet and use it to clean the dining room floor. An overall disgusting and lasting impression left here.

I really like this place. The workers are always super nice/friendly and chill. I’ve always enjoyed my experience here. I’ve only gotten their tacos, which the the staff stuffs with ingredients! You have a choice of corn or flour tortilla. I’ve tried the Carne Asada, Shrimp(fried and grilled), and Fish tacos. I really like the shrimp tacos the best. Fish was pretty good. I wasn’t too impressed with the carne asada to be honest. They have taco specials I think Monday-Wednesday. The chips are pretty good, not too oily or salty. The restaurant itself has a skater-taco place feel to it(I’m not sure if that makes sense, but that’s the only way I could explain it). There are TVs, usually displaying MTV or sports. The food itself it probably a 3.5−4 stars, but the service puts it at 5 stars.

Walked in and workers immediately greeted us, but there were no other customers and the 3 young male employees were just standing behind the counter shooting the breeze. The dining area was messy. I ordered a fish taco but there was no batter to dip the fish in before frying, so I chose the steak instead. Mistake. Meat was dry and chewy. I also ordered refried beans;they were pretty good but spicy — I hadn’t expected that. As already noted by another reviewer, this place only accepts cash.

What can you say about Wee Man’s Chronic Tacos? It is a great little place to stop in and grab a quick, tasty meal or pick up some food to go. They have a colorful, friendly staff and the food is very good. My favorites are the Steak Burrito and the Fish Tacos prepared Baja Style. Recommended !!!
