Yummiest crepes I’ve ever had! Sweet servers and a very authentic French vibe inside. They even served a firecracker in my M.I.L’s birthday crêpe! SO cute and fun!

We go there often. Excellent food and good service. Sometimes we need to park a block away, but most times we are lucky to find a space right in front. I recommend all the filet mignon and shrimp alternatives. Always coming back.

This place is located in the Riviera, a really cute area of Redondo Beach with nice local restaurants. The food itself is good, but the service is pretty awful. I’ve been here a few times now, and it is ALWAYS as slow as molasses. Additionally, most of the waiters I’ve had put on these ridiculous French accents, which is just more grating than anything. So overall, if you have all the time in the world to eat, I would recommend popping in as the food really is tasty. But if you’re on any sort of a time crunch, definitely stop by one of the neighboring restaurants in this area instead!

I copy and pasted this address into google maps and got taken to the wrong place. :/so double check. For Christmas redondo beach gave four hours of free parking at the meters which was super awesome. The food here was great, but the service was a bit slow. I had good company so it didn’t feel like a big deal. But our food quality was definitely compromised. The tea water we got was not hot enough and the fondue plate we got the cheese was not completely melty. It was still really good but I wish the cheese was completely melted. Plus it really just took too long for us to get the food. I think they kinda forgot about us because we were seated outside. The table next to us got there the same time as us and finished eating before we even got our food. And they had like six to eight people. I love the French vibe here. Makes me feel happy I took French because I can say the things in the menu.

We are regulars at this place. When the owner isn’t there, the service is horrible. However, when the owner is there, the service is spot on and the food is prepared perfectly. Last week we made reservations for Christmas Eve dinner. We even got to pick our table. However, when we arrived last night, the table was taken so our choice was the back corner, the front corn by the door or outside. We asked what happened, but didn’t really get an answer though we did point out who took our reservation. Anyway, the dinner was a pri-fixe, three courses. Our first course was cold and had to be sent back. For our second course, the veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. However, the salmon was so over cooked and dry. I would say I wouldn’t go back for dinner again but I had been there before for dinner and they do know how to cook dinner so it surprised me. Well, my husbands salmon was exactly the same… dry and overcooked. The third course was a choice of a Christmas log or a crêpe. The crêpe was cooked to order and was perfect! I enjoy this restaurant and want to keep going back but they really need to get the employees on board with running this place right or they will loose more customers.

Absolutely come enjoy an experience here. I love it. I’ve been to the one in Hermosa and here in Redondo. The food is parfait perfect! You will get an authentic French experience. The food is quality. You pay for what you get. The owners are French. And I feel like I’m in France for a little bit of my morning. If only I would’ve used my six years of French studies, I could speak now. If you love food, such as breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, and unique specials, come here. Merci beaucoup! And bon appètit!

We eat here fairly regularly for both breakfast and lunch and on occasion dinner. The food is consistent, the service is very good… No nonsense but helpful and accommodating. My husband is a fan of the crepes and I am as well but only the desert. There is one with mango and strawberry and banana that is delicious. This morning I had the C’est la vie waffle with a substitution of strawberries instead of bananas. It was very tasty, however it was a bit cold and it was too busy to ask them to heat it up. For the most part this really is a great go to place him we are hungry and did not want to cook which is practically every night of the week. It is within walking distance of our house and we eat there often. My husband is not a fan for dinner however I find just about everything on their menu pleasing to the palate. Sometimes it’s very crowded and you have to wait for a table and other times there’s no one in the restaurant but you. I find the soccer on the TVs a bit distracting however I am sure for those dining inside it is a diversion of sorts.

The crab burger is killer! I highly recommend it. Also try the items off the daily special board, I’ve always had the best off that menu. The quiche is amazing there too. Service is nothing special but always prompt and polite and everyone is French! Speaking of French, their French press coffee is soo good!

Great food, and coffee. Serving staff was awesome. Very clean restaurant and a feel of Paris. I had the French onion soup and salad. The soup was very different from I’ve had but good.

Comfy little spot. Great service by both staff members. Craving good French-onion soup and we got it! The soup was savory and perfect for the gloomy weather. Lunch combinations are a nice portion; we ordered ½ salad and soup and a savory crêpe. A cute little café with ½ bottle wine selections. A little roomier than the Hermosa Spot but same great cadence. Will be back for dessert and lattes.

The food here is delicious, the service was great and the ambiance /whole Paris France theme of the restaurant was really cool. It’s a cute place to come for breakfast/brunch or lunch with friends and with your boyfriend or girlfriend. The food ranges from crepes to sandwiches to salads and panini’s. Overall great experience at Crème de la Crêpe. I would definitely come back!

I’ve been to this restaurant on several occasions as it’s in my neighborhood. The atmosphere is nice and I like the open space with tables out front next to the sidewalk. My only concern is how long it can take from the time you order to the time you’re finally served. On my last few visits it’s been at least 30 minutes. On my very last visit it was over 40 minutes and we politely told our waitress we had a meeting to get to and couldn’t wait any longer. Unless this is supposed to be some laid-back French way of dining, there must a bottleneck in the kitchen. If that’s the case, they should either resolve the bottleneck or reduce the number of tables and seats to match the capacity of the kitchen. The wait staff in this restaurant are all very nice but I would be hesitant to stop by here again due to the wait time after ordering. This restaurant would be a solid four star location if the food prep and serving was a little quicker. They would also be able to turn tables faster and make more money so whoever is in charge has a big incentive to look into this.

Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon to enjoy a healthy lunch with my mom. This location is situated smack in the middle of the Rivera village. It has a shaded outside area and a few tables on the side walk. Because it was so sunny we opted for the 100% shaded spot and we were very comfortable there. I ordered the trout salad. Grand portion of leafy greens accompanied by smoked trout, some goat cheese, capers and mango. Delish and such pretty presentation! It came with a side of bread and butter. My mom ordered the goat cheese salad and loved it. Her goat cheese was warm and presented on tiny slices of toast. Again presentation was great. Service was great. The staff here is truly French and I love that about this place. On Tuesdays they have a mussels special for dinner. Gonna try that soon!

I love this place.(In particular, I like this Crème De La Crêpe location over the others) It sits right in the middle of the Rivera Village. I love sitting outside on the sidewalk to people watch… almost feels like you’re actually in Paris. Start out with a great wait staff… a wait staff that I swear has been there for over 5 years. The ladies we always see there have adorable french accents. They are always quick, friendly and willing to offer suggestions! We came here on Sunday(Father’s day) around 10:30am and we were sat immediately! Next, order a cup of their coffee. It’s Lavazza… yummmmm. Seriously, you’re in a french café! I love this coffee black, so good, you don’t want to ruin the taste with milk or sugar! Before ordering your meal, make sure you check our their specials board! There is always something on this menu that sounds appealing to me. I have only ordered their crepes and benedicts. My favorite is the fromage. I’m a sucker for brie cheese and anything with onions and sauteed mushrooms! My husband really likes the paysanne and the espagnole. This last time, I had the salmon and spinach benedict. Aside from the eggs being slightly runny for my taste, it was GREAT! It comes with a side salad, their cheesy potato gratin, baguette and house made jelly. Huge portions, I can’t ever seem to finish. This place will always be on our top 10 places to brunch together!

Used to come here after a long night shift like every week. Friendly servers, yummy food. My friends and I would split a sweet and savory crêpe. My favorite sweet is the drizzled speculous. Yesss speculoos is so 2000 and late but when it’s drizzled and melted over a buttery crêpe with fruit it’s so good. This was the first place that introduced me to the glory of speculoos. I will always thank them for that lol. Plenty of street metered parking. But keep track of your time those parking police are waiting for those meters to turn red. Was about to get all parking wars crazy one time I was there lol.

Mixed feelings here. Been here before. The food seemed much better last time. My boyfriend ordered the lamb sausage crêpe which had me rolling on the floor because the lamb sausge actually looked like something I scooped out of the litter box this morning.(see photos) Although it was tasty and the sauce was more like beef or lamb stroganoff. I had the nordique which I guess I didn’t pay attention to it being smoked salmon inside. Smoked Salmon is very rich so the other ingredients need to compliement it. Opted out of the jack cheese didn’t sound great with salmon and substituted Brie but that made it so rich I could hardly eat it. Perhaps if it were regular cooked salmon instead of smoked. Or knowing that next time i will order with cream cheese or something more mild. Service was OK, not spectacular. The lady who’s worked here for years who speaks mostly french seemed really mad when talking to other servers.

Very cute and beautiful place in Redondo Beach, especially this location. We were sitting at the end of the café that definitely wasn’t bad choice. Not so loud, not so sunny, just wine’s wall around us. The waitress were not so bothering that perhaps on of the most important criteria for me. Not so pricy eather. Would come back next time.

If i dont write my review inmediately i will forget . As im still sitting here and enjoying such a beautifull day we decided to try this place out, i bookmarked this place thanks to alot of my Unilocal friends and of course as always they were right it was good. We ordered the espagnole which it had egg sunny side up with chorizo, bell peppers, spicy chicken sausage, salsa and melted jack cheese it was pretty tasty we shared that with the Pasta carbonara which had white sauce, ham and eggs and that was bomb as well. Our lattes were good but for us they were too small lol call us spoiled but we are used to big mugs and they were low in sugar but i guess adding sugar solves the problem lol. We are coming back again to try their waffles and some other plates.

Decided to come here today after the St. Patrick’s Day 5k in Redondo Beach. We were in desperate need of food and this was the only place that looked like it could accommodate all 7 of us. It was a pretty small place, but they were kind enough to put some tables for us so that we could sit altogether. Service was just okay though. Food took super long to come out. A lot of the tables around us came in after us and got their food before us. Omelet Madrid: This omelet consisted of chorizo, avocado, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and maybe a couple other things that I may have forgotten. This was delicious! I was a little skeptical about my boyfriend ordering it at first because its chorizo and I was scared that it was going to be oily, but to my surprise, it wasn’t oily at all. The avocado brought a little freshness and it was actually incorporated into the omelet. This came with a side salad and a side of potato gratin. The potatoes were SOGOOD, a block of buttery starchy goodness. The omelet also came with bread and what I believe was homemade strawberry jam, which was also very delicious. Paysanne(Forgive me if this is spelled wrong) Crêpe: This had the spicy chicken sausage, peppers, onions, scrambled eggs. This was different. I’ve never had the urge to eat a savory crêpe before, but the filling seemed really good. Like I thought, the filling was really good, but I wished it was in an omelet instead. The batter that they used for the crêpe didn’t really fit the savory flavor of the filling. I will probably stick with sweet crepes. This came with a side salad. All in all, the food was pretty good. Service was lacking just a little, but letting us split the check 5 ways made up for it. There’s some metered parking in front of the place. If it’s too crowded, there’s a metered parking lot on Elena, right across from Trader Joe’s. +Nice place +Walking distance to the water! –Bring quarters for meters
