My Husbamd & I went here just this weekend, & let me tell ya we had the time of our life! It was perfect! The atmosphere seemed very chill and low key, we did go during the afternoon hours 12 to 3ish! The gentlemen Tending Bar had a positive fun attitude!

Today was my second time here today and I love it. It’s not packed at all during the daytime on the weekends and it’s just relaxing to grab a beer and chill on the boardwalk here. They have a lot of good beers like chimay on tap. I got to try a more sweeter and lighter beer today called Steigl. It’s a grapefruit beer and ladies, let me tell you… It is effing amazing. Guys, order it for that cute girl you see. Trust me! Overall, it’s definitely a chill spot. Owners are nice and the bartender was nice. I would definitely be back. Cheers! :)

Love this place off the boardwalk of Redondo Pier. Love the live music. Seating is limited. Bartenders are super friendly. Atmosphere was perfect. I love that. This place does have a menu for those that get hungry. I noticed a lot of locals coming in for take out. Food looks good. But I was there for drinks and a nice fun relaxing time. And that’s what we got. Thanks Kegs!

I do not frequent the Redondo Beach Pier /Marina all that often. I simply cannot stand the smell. I was out of town and my friend suggested we check out the free concert on the Redondo Beach Pier and that is how we ended up here. After checking out that quickly we moved on and explored the Marina portion and that is where we came across ‘Kegs.’ I am not a drinker and hence I have never been here before. We walked in around 9pm and found this place to be quite small. The crowd looked like a mixture of locals and fisherman. A band was playing at the far end of the bar. The walls are so closed in on each other which only amplified the music. This sound was so loud that you could not hear the person sitting across the table from you. I looked around and observed everyone having the same problem of not being able to hear a word anyone spoke to them. Just as I suggested we bail a table opened up right next to the kitchen so I thought the least I could do is buy my girlfriend a drink for driving me to airport and picking me up so we sat down. A barkeep quickly came over to our table and took our order. I ordered a sprite with lime, my girlfriend ordered red wine and a glass of water. Our drinks quickly arrived and my sprite with lime somehow was translated into lemonade with lime. Taking a sip of lemonade is quite shocking especially when you are expecting it to be sprite. What was even more distressing was how disgusting the lemonade was, it literally turned my stomach. My friends wine from across the table reeked of cheap booze and I suggested she not even dare drink the water, she didn’t. She finished her drink and we bailed to never return. I found this place to be gross. The floors were gross, the bar was wet, entire bar smelled like smoke(smoking area directly outside), it was way too crowded, had several drunks step on my feet, our table was not even close to clean which is disturbing because this place serves food. I could not get out of this place fast enough. I wish I could pass along some redeeming qualities about this place but I have zero. I told my friend that after we left this bar that I felt like jumping into a vat of bleach.

The sign outside says«slip in for a quick shot, mama won’t know»…and that’s exactly what we did. Friendly service, Rosie our bartender was nice and personable. Drinks were reasonably price.

If you want a great place to hang with friends, and an unbelievable selection of excellent beer and spirits, come to KEGS. Food is very good. Prices are great. And did I mention the selection on tap?

We visit this place when my Uncle Gregg’s band is playing. It’s not too small but not big either. There is a nice size area for the band to set up. There is a long bar with a lot of beer options. My favorite so far is the Tangerine beer. They also offer gluten free beers, too. It gets busy on the weekend and especially on nice sunny days in the pier. We’ve been there 3 times now to see the band play and we always get up and dance and have a great time! We see people walking in the board walk outside and they sometimes come in for a drink and a listen to the music. Everyone is pretty friendly and the service is good. Food options include zucchini sticks, pizza, and chicken fingers. I’m not so keen on the food but it’s expedited for dive bar food. We like it because it’s so close for us and we can always get seats up front to enjoy the show.

Chill, good local beer selection, great food(pizza, sandwiches), more chill and intimate than Naja’s, good service, Wi-Fi, live music, affordable pricing. Currently 25 beers on tap, chill Indi/college/surf rock, nice open windows with harbor views(great spot on 4th of July).

I’ve been back in the south land now for 2 ½ years getting my stuff back together(almost there) finally had time to do a Pier crawl, found this place after a few bites and drinks here and there. Friendly and competent staff, friendly owner and crowd. Great band on a Saturday afternoon and satisfying chow. Really enjoyed this place, will definitely be back on Saturdays or Sundays.

The best part about the place is that you can go there by yourself and within an hour have met 10 friendly people. It is the best spot on the pier to enjoy a drink and their food is unique to pubs with there being an asian influence. The owner, bartenders, and atmosphere are all great! Definitely enjoy the time I get to spend there!

One star for cold beer… this is one of those places that you stop off at to hold you over until something better comes along. The beers on tap were wack, and then the bottled beer ran out(Coronas & Pacificos). After a long bike ride and being very thirsty had to settle for a sad sandwich after 25 mins of waiting. Poor service and quality of food was awful!

Kegs is a great alternative to Najas. Good and wide variety of beers on draft, hard alcohol if desired, and a simple, but solid food menu.

What a great place to sip on a beer, watch the hussle and bussle of Redondo Pier and hear some great live music. Nothing pretentious here. Just good beer, good music and great people. The pizza is very good and I think they have the best Thai food in town(served only on Thai Tuesdays). The owners wife is Thai and she know how to do it right.

This is a decent place to go for a cold beverage when exploring the Redondo Beach area. After you have visited the neighboring businesses to get your seafood steamed, swing by this place. You’ll probably be drawn into Kegs because of the lively music and atmosphere. Flag down the manager or the bartender or you may be waiting a while. Grab yourself a few cold ones and enjoy the sounds of rock music from a live band. There was standing room only, which was fine… we weren’t staying long. After you have had your fill at Kegs, head out to see the ocean waves and relax as you watch the sunset. …Oh and don’t forget to pick up the steamed seafood you ordered earlier!

Small bar with very friendly staff and bartender. Faces the pier docks so its a cool place to chill and watch the sun go down or to catch a game on one of their TVs. Live music on weekends. Specialty foods on selected days(i.e. Thai Tuesdays). Good bar menu –pork jerky, cheese sticks, chips, etc. Good selection of beer on tap and bottled beer. Good music. Good people. Good stuff for a beer on the pier! Parking nearby but don’t drink and drive! Good stuff!

— Locale Destination — It’s in the middle of boardwalk, Redondo Beach. It’s pretty long establishment. They have windows for you to enjoy the sunset, but not an open seating restaurant. They don’t have an obvious sign for the establishment. They have«KEGS» sign on the wall right next to the entrance. Service is slow. One bartender does all though it wasn’t busy. Thai foods on Tuesdays! I don’t know other menus on other days. They just had a paper menu for the day, and I didn’t see any other menus. Happy hour: 4 — 7 pm, limited beer varieties $ 3.50 pint — steal!!! 26 kinds on tap! Not all kinds are good for happy hour. — Gluttony Expedition — I had two beers but my phone battery was dead ;( No memo — but they weren’t bad… Pad Thai w shrimps: For $ 8, the portion and location, it was OK. Meh as a Pad Thai. — Conqueror’s Deduction — 3.5 stars. $ 3.50 for a pint beer(Happy Hour) in front of beach is unheard of!!! Food wasn’t impressive. But it’s good to see 26 varieties on tap!

First time there today. This place was great!!! I think I found my new place to have a drink and catch a cool band. Food was good, service was outstanding and the owner introduced himself and was very nice. The band, Spider Gawd was playing and the lead singer, Cody had an awesome voice! I can’t wait to try Thai Tuesday!

This place is a great spot to meet up with friends and enjoy a few beverages and some snacks! And that is what we did.(Our wallets would have been in SO much trouble if our only option was Kincaid’s!) There is a healthy selection of beer ONTAP! The food was great — we snacked on some mozzerella sticks and pizza. The crust on the pizza was really good! We had a veggie pizza and some sort of combo, and the toppings were delicious. Our server was awesome — he was really on top of it. We didn’t have to flag him down to ask for water refills, other drinks or food — he was good at checking on us to make sure we had what we needed. He definitely was kept busy that night, so I know that it wasn’t out of boredom that he paid attention to us, it was that he is great at his job! The only change I would make at this place is one that likely only applies during the winter months — it was super chilly inside. I was wearing a sweater and boots but those were not warm enough. Next time, I request more warm air in this place! Bonus — live music some nights :). I wouldn’t come here JUST for the food, but for a good combination of drinks and snacks — I am a big fan! Overall, you can’t beat the beverage selection, good food and service, and the reasonable pricing here.

Stopped in for some pre-sailing food, and this place was great! The pizzas by the slice were actually delicious(nice crust, oozy gooey cheese, you know the stuff), and plenty of beers on tap and friendly bartenders! Located in the main marina/pier of redondo, it’s a great local spot, and i’d definitelty eat here again, pre-sail or not!
