Mathnasium of Redondo Beach

My son had difficulties with math and so I chose Mathnasium to help him. He is doing much much better now and I am so glad that he actually likes going and learning. Thank you Mathnasium!

Wow! The entire staff here are great! They go out of their way to help & make sure the student is learning what they are supposed to learn. They understand how children learn & that kids learn differently. They are genuinely caring! Love, love, love this place! Their hours of operation are also convenient, especially their Sunday hours!

Mathnasuim of Redondo Beach is awesome! Mary Wheeler, the director at the center, is what makes this location great. She works/​communicates well with parents and students. She listens to the parents concerns/​goals. Mathnasium is costly but Mary really works hard to find a plan/​package that works best with your budget and students’ schedule. My kids enjoy their math sessions at Mathnasium and want to be there! If you are looking for a math tutoring/​enrichment program, I highly recommend you call Mary.

Mary Wheeler runs a great tutoring facility. I was a bit skeptical at first because I had done private tutoring for my kids to an afterschool math program.
There is a motto at mathnesium which says «your kids will be crazy about math». I know it sounds funny but actually it’s true. My kids asked me almost every day if they can go to Mathnesium. You would think they were asking to go to Disneyland. Mary and her tutors are excellent with the kids and great at giving them different strategies.
I was a little concerned about how much it would cost. Fortunately, there are different types of options that they offer.
Overall, my son is more confident in his math skills and my daughter is excited to learn more. I’m so happy we signed up and looking forward to the next school year and I’m not dreading math as a parent :-)
