McDonald’s

Do not go to this McDonalds! I waited 20 minutes for my food at 11:00 at night with no one else in the drive thru! AND they got my order wrong.

This McDonald’s is located within the South Bay Galleria Mall.
Right now (April 2015) they’re running a sort of «Happy Hour» where from 2pm to 5pm if you buy a special drink (Smoothie or Frozen Lemonade) it’s 2 for 1… so you can get a small size w/​tax and it’s $ 2.82, so averages out to $ 1.41 per cup.
They also brought back their deep fried apple pie, which is awesome sounding, as I never liked their baked apple pie and always loved the fried one (which I think KFC and Taco Bell mimicked nicely with their recent efforts).
McDonald’s always gets an A-​OK three * * * star rating in my book. Once in a while they can lose a star or so if they fail miserably in their customer service, or can earn a star to two for stellar customer service, but their food is always of consistent quality and pricing, so the value and taste is always predictably good and satisfying. You know what to expect and most often times it’s met without variance.

Myself and another staff member had gotten food poisoning from this establishment and let me tell I’ve given this place another try since I work in the mall and I rather place $ 12 or more somewhere else. The people who consider themselves managers or even leaders should get a reality check because not only are they rude they do not seem to notice that the vibe they give to consumers. If the Galleria Mall wants to keep their clients happy they should take this McDonald’s food chain out of their mall and replace it with a Subway or some thing better appealing for others. Sorry to say this, I just hope this establishment closes.

You would think that the way food was prepared should be the same at every fast food location, but there are still many instances where the process may not be implemented as seamlessly. Or quite possibly it’s just prepared differently based on the way the locals like it??? No idea, but McDonald’s doesn’t typically cater to local taste unless its a different country. Well besides that… this review is for their filet-​o-​fish sandwich. I make a point to try things again in case the first few instances were just a mistake. So I never judge a place based on the first bad experience. Or at least try not to. But the sandwich here always comes out over-​cooked and dry. Didn’t taste that great which ruined the whole experience when I walked in late at night, visiting a friend that was working late, only to be eating a distasteful sandwich :(

McDonald’s is McDonald’s. There’s not much to say, haha. As gross as some people think it is, I’ll probably always stop by and pick something up once in a while!

I feel that the management in this MCDonalds does not take pride in their store. The times that I have been here with my little girl, the bathrooms are filthy, some of the employees are very rude, not all. The playground is just as dirty, food on the floor, dirty tables. The only reason we come here is because my little girl likes the play area and it’s close to home. But it’s time to find a better McDonalds even if I have to drive further.

The apple has fallen far from the tree here… the staff is robotic and get ready to burn gas waiting in your car at the drive thru.

Eh, what you would expect from a typical Mcdonalds fast food, except the heightened prices because this one is in the South Bay Galleria Mall…
