YUM! giving out free samples really lures in the customers! it worked for me! i love the steak combo that comes with fries and a drink! i make sure to ask for extra onions! the fries go really well with the sandwich! i like to mix their hot sauce and ketchup for a little kick. sometimes the guy has the samples with him so if you don’t see the workers passing it around just make sure to ask one of the cooks for a taste! they are always willing to give you a try!

Horrible. I went there and got three SMALL combos and the total was 30 bucks! Very expensive for what you get. The steak sandwich wasn’t even that good. To top it off, there was a $ 0.50 refill for the drinks! The person working there was embarrassed to tell me. I thought he was going to charge for napkins as well. Ownership is cheap to say the least.

BBQ sandwich was awful, and they wanted 50 cents for a soda refill. Sorry, you guys suck!!!

I have to drop Steak Escape to three stars. The rest of my review still stands, but they just changed the combo($ 5.99 for small sandwich). No longer are fries part of the combo. Now you must pay an extra $ 1 to get fries with your combo(a combo with just a sandwich and drink is a pretty crappy combo). Now, the bill comes out a bit too high. I used to come here all the time, but I’ll probably start going to Chick-fil-a more often.

I have been going to this place for years, but today was the last day that I come here. :(and here’s why: So as I was venturing out looking for something new to eat and trying to get past all of the free sample people who try to bait you into buying their food; I decided to play it safe and go to steak escape to get the 5.99 combo special. I gave the cashier, which I also believe is the owner, $ 20 for my food which was a total of $ 6.57 including tax. The change he gave me was $ 3.43…so I explained to him that I gave him a 20 and he quickly gave me the rest of the $ 10 back like he knew he gave the wrong change… Now, don’t get me wrong I am normally not bothered by these kinds of small mistakes. The problem that I have with it is that both my gf and I both knew that the owner knew I had given him a 20 dollar bill and he was trying cheat me out of my money. So no more steak escape for me. For people who care about the food and not my problems: The ONLY sandwich I would recommend is the Original ‘Steak Escape’. IMO it is the best with the fries and drink YUMMM and you can’t beat the 5.99 special combo deal that comes with a small sandwich of your choice(about 6 inches?), fries, and a drink. I wouldn’t recommend NOT going here, just make sure that you count your money :)

This is the best Steak Escape I’ve ever been too – I usually always eat here when I’m at this mall(since I can’t STAND Panda Express no more, and Chik-fil-a is just too small… and you know the mongolian bbq shit never cools – dang, that was long). I always get the chicken teriyaki, love it(it’s not on the menu). I had to say it’s the best one(and it’s good, not just not-sucky) because I swear to you every other one I’ve been too(which is why I’ve stopped eating at them, unless I’m at a reputable mall) either half-asses some part of my meal, or is just plain nasty. Thank you!

OK… Food court at the mall… no high expectations right? I absolutely dig the cheese steak sandwiches here. They’re big & juicy and full of flavor. Their fries rock as well. I’ve tried quite a few others and they were usually too dried out, or way too greasy. This one is benchmark for me.
