When I noticed that Fara has a Unilocal page I couldn’t resist providing a review. I don’t write many reviews on Unilocal; however, my experience with Fara was so positive that I must spread the word.
We first started working with Fara about 18 months ago. My fiancé and I were going through a stressful period as we presented offer after offer on homes in the East Bay without avail. Fara was always an eternal optimistic, which helped keep us motivated by lessening the setbacks we received.
Time and time again we called Fara not just during business hours but also countless evenings and weekends. She would always answer our calls and make herself available for consultation. Fara is so dedicated and kind that it makes what is usually a highly stressful transaction so much easier on all parties.
As a true testament to her professionalism on the latest house we wanted to use a VA home loan, which Everbank provides; however, we wanted an ARM instead of a 30 year fixed. Unfortunately Everbank doesn’t provide ARM VA loans; however, when I informed Fara that Wells Fargo does she wasn’t at all upset that after spending 18 months with us she may not get the business. Instead she said she wants to make sure that the loan that Wells Fargo is promising is truly what my fiancé and I are looking for. She put in a call and the next day she told us that the loan Wells Fargo is offering us is a good deal and we should take it. We were shocked that she would so easily give up the business but after thinking about how fair and personable Fara has been throughout the whole process, we understood she was just looking out for our interests regardless if she makes money on the deal or not.
I really wish every mortgage broker maintained this high ethical level because it would’ve helped prevent the economic crisis. Fara truly is a professional in every sense of the word and if Everbank offers a VA ARM in the future I will definitely call up Fara, and only Fara, to possibly refinance.
