I was initially pissed the University Ave location close and I got relegated here, but after several visits I’ve had the same bomb experience shopping here: super friendly employees willing to talk shop about current/upcoming games. I feel just as comfortable dropping a paycheck on a huge purchase or merely browsing pre-orders without the danger of an unwanted hard sell.
As a west coaster, I will say I’m a big fan of how this place handles midnight releases, something University Ave did not. For big games like Battlefront, they’ll have the game come out at 9 PM. That way, you can play with your east coast friends as soon as possible. Maybe it’s so the employees can come home earlier too, but I appreciate the extra effort that didn’t have to be taken.

I bought a pre-owned Xbox One and opened the box only to see how dirty the Xbox one was. Makes me wonder whether they even checked the internal and external condition of it. For $ 330, at least make it look somewhat presentable. Hopefully it plays better than it looks.

Terrible service. They have a new teen working there named Ryan and he is a young teenager. I asked him if they had the game «halo 4» for a friend and he told me to ask him later, as he was «busy». I snooped around and I saw him talking with his friends working there. Terrible service!

This is an awesome Gamestop! I love the atmosphere and the new ps4 and nintendo Wii u that are in display to play demos. The store is a little small but the overall place is clean and the staff is friendly. Preorder stuff here it’s the bomb because sometimes they have raffles and competitions.

Bruce is the best employee of any Gamestop I’ve dealt with. Superb customer service. Their regional director, Mike, is also a great guy. If you have the option to pick one Gamestop over another, pick this one. You won’t regret it.

I came in here looking for a specific game in the used section for the Wii. Staff was helpful and friendly which was nice. They had the game I wanted in stock which ruled. Good location.
