Seaport Computer & Conference Center

A great place to have any training! I had my Certified Scrum master training there for 2 days and it was a bliss. Very nice seascape, sunny days and beautiful terrace to have lunch or go for coffee breaks in between sessions. Food is not that great in my opinion but they have to accommodate a large amount of people and normally is included in the price of your classes. But if you are too picky, then you need to drive somewhere else, as i don’t think there is any restaurant close by. Don’t expect super modern facilities with design tables and chairs, but location is great and folks that work there, especially kitchen ladies are super friendly. I also needed to send some urgent faxes and the lady in the reception helped me at no cost. Very nice center.

This Conference Center is very quaint with fantastic waterfront views. This conference center is between the Hillsdale Shopping Center and Stanford Shopping Center.
When you attend a workshop/​training in this conference centera, they feed you ample breakfast, snacks, and hot lunch plus an open bar of sodas, juice, coffee, and tea. You can either sit on the patio or dining area with terrific water views. Staff have excellent customer service and they provide tips on the surroundings and they guide you to your classroom. Excellent personal service. The chairs and tables are comfy as well.
There are multiple training classes when I attended but the breaks were staggered so the dining area was not crowded at all.
If you are from San Francisco or the Peninsula, Hayward, this would be an excellent place for training definitely. Ample parking.
They have water saving closets so sometimes there is a queu as these water saving closets means more time during clean up which in the end is a repetitive process and may not really save money but would mean more wait for customers and several repeats of the clean-​up.

This is a great training center. Very professional and they cater to your every need.
5 day trainings can be long, but the facility makes it worth being in class for extended amount of time.

Came here for my Microsoft 680 and 685 certification tests for work.
The place is a nice conference center right next to the water. From our waiting room, we were able to see people taking boats/​canoes/​kayaks out. It was quite a nice sight.
Our testing room was a nice room filled with a bunch of computers. At first they had the A/​C on so it was hella nippy, but they turned it up after about 10 minutes. I couldn’t concentrate on my test that first 10 minutes though!
The staff are extremely professional here and everything went without a hitch!

We held our Board of Directors Retreat today at Seaport Conference Center. Susan Baker and Trava Peter Faust were so accommodating. no detail was overlooked. Our hot lunch, Tostadas was delicious and served right on time. I would highly recommend Seaport Conference Center for a business meeting or social event. Thanks to everyone for helping make our day run smoothly.

Really good rooms to hold small to mid-​size classes. Helps to have a nice view during breaks. The food for my class was surprisingly tasty. We had warm food, ample drinks, and tasty snacks. Would definitely consider attending other classes or meetings here in the future.

Highly recommended venue. We booked one room at the venue to hold an all-​day training session. The center is a bit out of the way and can be hard to find, but it is totally worth it. Staff was very attentive and got us everything we needed to be able to run a successful event. We ate lunch on the outdoor deck, overlooking bobbing sailboats. The only downside of the whole day was that when we went into the cafeteria to get the lunch line, they told us, «Oh, your lunch is over there.» Our lunch wasn’t the nice hot meal others were getting; it was cold sandwiches. I’m sure that’s because our company budgeted just for the cold sandwiches, but the venue should have put our lunch somewhere else so we didn’t feel like we were getting the short end of the stick.

We used the outdoor deck of the conference center for a privately catered dinner party. The deck has a gorgeous view of a gaggle of docked sailboats and it’s completely protected by the wind! For an end of July summer event, you could expect arctic temperatures for an outdoor evening on the bay. This deck stayed mild and comfortable all evening and was that way when left at 9pm.
The on site event staff was attentive and helpful. I would most definitely use them again.
P. S. lots of free parking too!

We booked the venue two months in advance. Took four visits to get the computer environment working to support the class. Provided image, conducted final testing on environment (the day before scheduled training) and was assured the image would be copied on all 16 students computers and the instructors.
The morning of the class we arrive one hour early to a classroom with dismantled computers, screw drivers spewed about, only 3 computers had our training image, 6 computers did not have internet connectivy, and 6 computers required Service Pack 3 updates before we could even update. The most basic things such as the desks were not arranged. It took two hours of six of my technical staff to put together the computers together and get us to a spot to where we could double-​up the students on the computers.
I do not recommend booking this venue for ANY activity that requires computer activity.
Day 2 of training went perfectly. The director and owner of the center are both very professional.
