Lodge At Mountain Springs Lake

I’m from the Poconos and moved to San Diego after I graduated college. My fiancé and I planned on getting married in PA since obviously our entire family lives there. My mom and dad scoped out the Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake and immediately booked. We got married outside by the lake and had the reception indoors. We had a fall wedding (since there are no seasons in SoCal) and the scenery outside, with the leaves changing color, made for awesome pictures. The Lodge itself is breathtaking! Just what I was looking for. It’s mostly windows which let a lot of natural light in. The wedding planner they have is awesome! She helped me (and my mother) plan the wedding from across the country. The day of the event, my bridal party and I were able to get ready in the spa (just feet away from the lodge). They have a great set-​up if you have someone come in to do your hair. We sipped champagne and danced to music until it was time to walk down the aisle. The food is absolutely excellent and the staff and servers were top notch. After the party was over my husband and I stayed in the honey-​moon suite which was beautiful. I would definitely suggest MSL to anyone looking for a simple and elegant spot to tie the knot.
