Went Thursday October 17 with my parents for dinner. It was just after 8p and there were a few tables seated. They were offering half price entrees. We started with an arugula salad which was simple and yummy. My parents ordered the lamb chops. I ordered the tuna. All were ordered rare and came that way. The bok Chou was good but so little was given, the good was good. We ordered two desserts. The flour less chocolate torte and mini Crème brûlée. Both were very good but the Crème brûlée was too tiny. Seriously a little larger and it still would have been small. The chef Michael did send home the apple pie cupcake as an extra. It was so yummy. We liked the décor and the nice chairs and tablecloths. There was only one server and we felt he needed help. We would go back. May try the Saturday steak and cake special soon.

Cute restaurant, but horrific service. There was a language barrier with the server so there were many mistakes in every piece of our order. Everything took a very long time in spite of the place being entirely empty. The staff was rude when we went looking for a bathroom while they stood around chatting. We had to go look for someone to find our check, and when we went to pay, we realized there was a mistake. We tried to explain it to the waitress, but she didn’t understand and went to get the cook. The cook was so rude, tried to blame the waitress for not explaining the menu properly, and seemed like he was trying to pick a fight! All we really wanted was the $ 6 difference and maybe an apology! It was such an awful experience, and all of this in front of a child. In the end we just wanted to leave and tried to pay the bill. After we left the restaurant, the chef tried to run after us to give us cash, but we were so worked up it didn’t help at all. It was definitely a debacle!

Came here with a big group, we were able to order almost all of the items on the small menu and basically everyone was disappointed. The salmon was apparently okay, but the lamb and fish were both awful. The service was also very slow. I would recommend picking one of the many better options in the Rehoboth area.

Very nice atmospher. The food was delicious and being gluten free they had many options to choose from. We had a great experience.

TRY the mushroom martini! It was a lovely surprise and super tasty. Highly recommend. Staff is pleasant and attentive. Simple menu and wine list but definitely worth a stop.

A very pleasant experience. The food was great. We had the crab cake and chicken curry. Both were very flavorful. The spring roll is a must — the dipping sauce is fantastic. The room is quiet — we could actually have a conversation with our friends without raising our voices. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. Next time we will try the outdoor seating area.

It was our first night vacationing in Rehoboth, and my partner and I were exhausted and a little stressed out. So when we happened upon Debacle, with its friendly servers and ridiculously comfortable chairs, it was perfect timing. Our waiter was hilarious, the cocktails were STRONG, and the food was great. One minor gripe: my fish tacos were served in the weirdest taco shell ever. It was like a half-crunchy tortilla; I didn’t really get it. The fish that was inside it, however, was perfectly flaky and tasty. I wish Debacle was magically in Philly!

Great place, very interesting décor, excellent food. Our complements to the chef! We had the boneless leg of lamb and crab imperial. The lamb was tender and very well flavored, the sauce, though very unusual for this type of dish, complemented the meat perfectly. The crab imperial was packed with chunks of crab meat, huge dish, almost impossible to finish(but I did! :) We also had lobster bisque and it was packed with flavors. Very nice place, great ambiance. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Another great new dining option in Rehoboth! My wife and I stopped in for an early evening drink at the bar. Met the owner. Decided to try the $ 5 apps at the bar. I ordered the Fish Tacos. For $ 5, I expected some kind of mini-taco, but what I got was a wonderful taco with a huge piece of fish, a few fries, and a small dish of slaw! It was terrific. My wife ordered the $ 5 mushroom white flatbread which was wonderful. No complaints here. We’ll tell our friends and go back for dinner.

it was a beautiful summer’s evening so when we were offered indoor or outdoor seating, we took the outdoor. A light breeze, ice tea and the delightfully easygoing Robyn as our server started us with Caesar salad(no croûton from me). The rolls, which Dean was wild about come from the famous Philadelphia bakery Amoroso. It’s rare he’s that excited about bread: this really impressed him. The presentation of the steak and cake was very well done. We’re both well past the steak hanging off the edge of the plate and a cake as big as a baby’s head nonsense. We want superior quality. The crab cake was moist, light, fresh and tender: all signs it was made from fresh ingredients. Using alternatives takes skill. Yet, Dean couldn’t tell it was gluten free. The steak? Tender, perfect size and melt in your mouth. Exactly the right amount. We opted for spinach instead of the asparagus. It was perfect, no hint of bitterness and perfectly seasoned. Decadence followed with gluten free flourless chocolate cake. This is very rich, more like a dense brownie. Perfect for sharing., it only appears petite: it packs a wallop of a punch. Triggering on less than 10 grams of gluten, I had zero reaction so I am dazzled by the food and service as well as the reasonable price. We ave added this to our list of favorites and highly recommend it. Even if you aren’t gluten sensitive, and just like exceptional food — this is worth a visit.

Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. I dined here for dinner on a mid-week vacation and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I have a few food allergies and they were well prepared to adjust anything on the menu for my dietary restrictions and recommend dishes that I could eat. If you are gluten free, they have many options, including gluten free fish and chips and a flourless chocolate cake. I opted for the salmon dish which was filling and delicious. I highly recommend this original, unique and fantastic restaurant!

Excellent food with huge portions — an incredible value! Attentive service without being intrusive. Seating space is large enough to keep conversation around the table private. The chefs are to be commended for not over salting the food. I really enjoyed the caesar salad and shrimp risotto.

Just ate here last Friday night with a group of friends. We were seated right away, our waiter was attentive, and the food was fantastic. I had the grilled salmon and switched out the spinach for grilled asparagus. Our group also ordered three deserts to share: the carrot cake, peanut butter pie, and a flowerless chocolate cake. We thought all were fabulous, but the carrot cake was especially good. I’ll definitely be back again.

After reading the other reviews I decided to check out Debacle. The black and tan hummus was very good. Shrimp risotto wasn’t to my liking, but that didn’t have anything to do with the preparation, rather just my preference… I should have read the description more carefully. Debbie was very accommodating!

First week open! Service was excellent. Great big space and big comfortable chairs. Menu has something for everyone. Apps were all excellent. Flash fried oysters, mushroom martini, steamed clams and fried calamari were all great. The signature Debacle Bisque was light and delicious with tomato, corn and crab. Main courses were all solid but needed some seasoning. Great key lime pie for desert. Give them a try.

My first visit there. Shrimp risotto is to die for. We had an excellent, professional waiter. The upholstsered chairs are comfortable, unique, and fun.
