Had the ribs. They were ok. Not a big fan of the sides I was given. Would have preferred it if I could have selected my own.

I’ve been here a few times and it is always packed but worth the wait. Their beer is great bottled, but it is even better on tap. I like the 60 minute ipa more than usual from the tap.

We went in here with so so expectations(some reviews implied both food and service did not meet the standards of some), but found everything to be spectacular! Short wait(weekday, but during peak season), great service, great food and drinks. We started with a beer flight, then he got a steak and I got the chicken and waffles. I could tell that the chicken and waffles was a signature dish, but the steak?!? Amazing. Beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection. We also had to try a side of the mac and cheese, and we’re glad we did. We finished it off with a brownie sundae. If I had to name a few cons, not only was there no changing table, but there was really not any surface that even remotely worked. I don’t expect all restaurants to accommodate babies, but when you have high chairs, car seat stands, and my kid is one of three babies I can see who are younger than 6 months, it would be wise to make changing a bit easier:/ The margarita was also a bit bland, but trust me, I didn’t go there for the killer margaritas. I went for great beer, a friendly atmosphere, yummy food, and good service, and we were more than satisfied! Will definitely be back… but maybe without the babe:/

This was my first time here, and my boyfriend and I got lunch after walking around on the beach a bit. I got the indulgence burger, and he got one of the daily specials, which was a pulled pork BLT. The BLT came with this cheese spread(he’s not a huge cheese fan so he got it on the side), and I put some on my burger. The burger was the best I’ve had so far in DE. Very delicious and cooked perfectly! I will definitely be back to try more things. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The décor was also adorable(kind of a rustic feel), and the bathrooms were also clean and cutely decorated. Can’t wait to come back!

I’m hesitant to give dog fish less than 5 stars and that’s because I’m a huge fan of their beers! The Peche destination is my favorite but the Namaste is also really good! The bar is awesome & can’t wait for the renovations to be finished for the bar & beer garden, I was little disappointed this year that the outside area wasn’t open but I know it will be so much better when it’s all finished! So the reason for my 4 star review is the food, I wish there was a little more to the menu. My husband got the wings and he loved them not spivey very tender the meat fell right off. I got the pizza with red sauce and mushrooms and it was good but not wonderful. The apps are a little limited and seems like a good app place because of the bar, they could use some mozz sticks or other fried food would do very well with the beer! The live music I think was Friday night and was great, the clear out the tables so there is room on the floor in front of the band and it works well! Hopefully the new bar will be a bit bigger. The staff and bartenders are always very nice! They gave our party of 9 free mini glasses of the 60 min one night for returning back a few days in a row and that was very nice. I hope that the next time we’re back the new place will be done and maybe have a bit a better menu :) we will be back!

Not impressed at all! This place was apparently the joint that all my teammates were hopped up to go to. After a long field season and my first time here, I went along with the flow. Okay, I get that a lot of these places like to go with the trendy thing and not take bookings but I got to tell you, it is not smart management not allow this. Think of people driving long distances. By who knows, maybe the picking is so slim that management could care less. But I digress. Upon our arrival, the hostess told us we could not sit together. Apparently, this is a place that could not accommodate a party of 9 and have us sit together. Who the fluff does that!?! Anyway, when the hostess told us that I immediately began thinking, «why are we here?» I wondered if we had the full team, what would have happened. Our food was subpar. I got the Shrimp Tacos which were nothing to write home about. I could not taste any of the«blackened spices» but I was hungry so I ate them. The best part of the evening was paying the bill and leaving. I am going to recommend that the team scratch this place as the spot to have our last dinner of the season together. It sucked that after 4 weeks of field work, we had to sit at separate tables, consuming subpar food while waitress kept harassing us if we wanted more beer. They won’t get my business again.

Stayed in the city for vacation with the family. I am a huge craft beer fan and had to check out this brewpub– so glad we did! I had fried calamari for an appetizer, cooked perfectly, not rubbery whatsoever. It came with a sweet chili sauce, pretty good. For an entrée I had the shrimp and pepper jack cheese grits with andouille sausage. It was outstanding, words can’t even describe. I also sampled a bit of the pretzel appetizer and the beer battered cod both delicious(from the brothers plate). Both parents liked their choices as well, I forget what they got. Myself, brother and da each got a flight of beers and then I split another one with the brother. I liked most of their ipas since I’m a hop head. Also we sampled the Randall with strawberries and jalepenos, very well off-centered Sam! Had a great time and would love to return!!!

There are places you don’t miss on a beach vacation. Places that make the drive well worth the time. I can say honestly that Dog Fish is one of these places. If you like food and especially if you like good beer you owe it to yourself to include a trip to Rehoboth in your beach escape. I have yet to have something I didn’t like at this restaurant and the stellar takes on traditional food are memorable.

What does one do when it’s not a great day for laying out at the beach? Responsibly sample some local beer that’s made it big, of course! After a short walk for a good number of Fitbit steps in walking here from the boardwalk, we saw that everyone else got the same idea as there was a good crowd here for a off-season Tuesday afternoon. BF politely asked some bar goers to make some room to park our butts. We shared a flight of Namaste, Midas Touch, 60-minute IPA, and Raison d’Etre while BF nursed on Romantic Chemistry. The bartender was very attentive and checked in a few times during our visit. The time came for some bar munchies so we got the rosemary fries with awesome bacon aioli. Fries were soggy but the aioli made up for the slack. Got a shot of kamikaze for the walk back and they definitely do not skimp on liquor :) There’s street parking all around and is walkable from anywhere downtown. Til the next time Dogfish Head!

Stopped at Dogfish Head brewpub while on a beach trip. Walked in and we were seated right away by our server. We got the Namaste wibier, and for food we got the revilutionist pizza, and the spice rubbed wings. The wings were delicious and went pretty well with the beer. The star of the show, however was the pizza. Thin yet soft crust, hot smoking meats and topped with fresh basil(I asked for the basil topping), it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. Overall it was a really good experience, and I’m definitely going back on my next visit to Rehoboth beach.

Pros: The awesomeness of beer land! We love the Midas Touch, Namaste, the Squall with lemon, among other types of beer, and of all things, the peanut butter vodka. Yeah really, I said peanut butter and vodka in the same sentence. It’s their newest thing. If you like vodka and peanut butter, try it. The bartenders are really nice and knowledgeable. The location is also good — on Rehoboth Avenue, right after it changes from route 1. You can also walk to it from the beach. The food was good and the menu seemed like a concoction of yumminess. I had the fish tacos which were decent but not rave worthy. The crab cake was good. The wait service is good but can be a little slower than average on a weekend. I recommend off season if you’re in the area but selfishly but want you crowding my fun places in off season. However, during peak season, be prepared for the crowds and waiting. They’re worth it. Cons: not much other than the wait and sometimes wait for food. But they’re a brewery, so drink while you wait and you won’t have any complaints. If you’re really unhappy about the wait, multiply your drink order by three and you’ll thank the wait staff for taking their time! ;-)

Ok… I’m still up in the air on this one. I’ll start with the beer first. Beer– I was extremely surprised with the beer and the variety. I’m not a big IPA fan and that is what DFH is known for in my opinion. The house ESB was amazing. I left there thinking different about DFH beer, and I am now a fan. Staff engagement– This is where it changes for me. I wasn’t impressed with the service and there wasn’t a lot of interaction. The waitress was friendly, but just wasn’t engaged. It seemed she was going through the motions. They weren’t packed and I didn’t see her stop at more than four tables. I hope I just caught an off day. Cleanliness– The brewpub was very clean but with a dingy feel. I was expecting a little more from such a well known brewery. Swag– I left with stickers!!! The food was amazing and the kitchen had our appetizer out within 15 minutes and our entrée followed that in less than ten minutes. I left liking DFH beer more than expected but being a little disappointed overall. I will defiantly return to the main brewery and give them another shot.

Everytime we are in the Rohobeth/Dewey beach area we come here. If you are a beer(especially Dogfish Head) lover, you need to come here! I can’t saw enough good things about their beer and food. The only negative is that I don’t live closer!

Owned by the Dogfish Head Brewey, this place is great! My bf and I hit this place after touring the brewery in our way down to Ocean City. This bar is located about 20 mins from the brewery and very close to the main highway. The restaurant was rustic, with a lot of seating and a long bar. We came around 2pm in the middle of January and the place was crowded! I can only imagine how crazy this place must get in the summer. Our original plan was to sit at the bar but there were no empty seats. The hostess explained it would only be about a 10 min wait and took down our phone number… they texted us about 3 mins later saying the table was ready! Pretty neat. The bar has a ton of different beers on tap. One of the Brewers explained to us that if an employee has an idea for a new our of the box beer flavor(i.e. Lobster beer made with real lobster) they’ll brew it and sample it here at the bar! So no matter when you come there will always be something different on tap. The food is pub food, but there are a lot of great unique dishes on the menu. We got the scrapple burger(beef burger wrapped in scrapple and topped with a fried egg), and the turkey club burger(turkey burger topped with cheese, bacon, avocado, red onion, pickles, lettuce & tomato). Both were phenomenal and came with fries! We didn’t wanna fill up too much so didn’t order anything else other than beer. Next time I’d like to try the duck poutine fries!

I was in Dover to run the Monster Mash Marathon on Saturday. Since I didn’t anticipate coming back to Delaware anytime soon, I just had to make the almost 1 hour drive down to Rehoboth Beach to have some good beer. It was well worth the drive. I arrived after 8 pm and the place was still packed and loud. Fortunately I found a parking spot in the tiny little parking lot so I didn’t have to hunt for street parking. I put my name in for a table, but was able to grab a seat at the bar just as a couple of people were leaving. I had the following 3 beers. They were all good, but I especially loved their Palo Santo Randall-ized(infused) with coffee and vanilla beans. Good stuff! 75 min Wet Hop After Dark Palo Santo through coffee and vanilla beans *Pub burger* This was a good decent burger to go with their excellent beers! It came with fries and some pickle slices. Before leaving, I bought a $ 25 t-shirt at the little gift shop by the entrance. Overall, if I’m ever in the area again, you can bet that I’ll be making a visit!

I am so glad I was finally able to get to the brewery. What an intense vibe this restaurant/bar has and maybe that’s because I was there at the height of tourist/beach season but there was such a buzz. It was a busy, busy Friday night but everyone was courteous, attentive and efficient at getting order out and drinks prepared. I ended up sitting at the bar because I was only stopping by for a pint but Corey and Mike were awesome that I ended up staying for a flight as well as some pretzel bites and I am so glad I did! Everything was delicious and all of the beer was so tasty that I went home with a growler. My suggestions are the beers that are infused with mead or with wine — they are just so interesting!!!

Drove here with three friends from Ocean City, MD on a Saturday for dinner. We got there around 5:30ish and was told there was a 30 minute wait, so we ordered a round from the bar. The second we got our beers we were told our table was ready, so that was pretty cool(I was starting to become hangry so it was in everyone’s benefit that I didn’t have to wait a full 30 minutes). I tried the Firefly ale and looooooved it, I wish I could buy it from a liquor store because it would def be my go to summer beer. We all got the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was TO. DIE. FOR. Sriracha maple syrup, hi yes A+. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. The waffles were fluffy and sweet, but not overly so. Just yes, one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. I am pretty small and the sandwich was fairly big and I ate the whole thing– I regret nothing. Two out of our group of four were growing boys who required appetizers in addition to their sandwiches. They got the calamari and the pretzel bites. I can’t speak for the calamari but I’m not even embarrassed to say that the 60 minute IPA white cheddar ale sauce that came with the pretzel bites was so good that I was dipping my finger in the ramekin and eating it. I love sauce. Our waitress was bubbly and around when we needed here. My one gripe is that our meal actually came out before the boys appetizers arrived. I think it was a food runner mishap. However, everything was eaten so I guess it truly was nbd. I love it here and wish I lived closer so I could eat that damn sandwich every day.

I went to Dogfish with some girlfriends while visiting Rehoboth Beach on 7÷26÷15. I thought. I was somewhat familiar with Dogfish having been to their location in Gaithersburg, MD. I was surprised to learn from our waitress that there is no connection between the 2 locations(other than the use of the name). I am going to start with what the restaurant needs to improve on and finish with why I am giving it 3 stars. Several of the menu items my girlfriends selected like the falafel sandwich and chicken and waffles were no longer available when we arrived. The restaurant(at least on the bottom floor) was packed making it hot and very loud. It was almost impossible to have a conversation with girlfriends. The 1 bathroom was very hot(felt close to 92 degrees when I closed the door) and slightly disgusting. However with all that being said the food was good. I had pizza with a crust made from their beer. I thought. It was really nice use of the restaurant tying together their main product with the food. I loved the beer the waitress selected for me. I believe it was called ninety-one. My girlfriends who ordered the seasonal peach beer also enjoyed their selection. Our waitress did a really good job considering the kitchen was running out of food and the restaurant was packed. I never felt ignored and really appreciated how apologetic she was about the lack of menu options. Dogfish also held our table(when we arrived they said it was going to be a 45 minute wait so we decided to walk down to the boardwalk). Our table was called(they text you when your table is ready) in under the 45 minutes(and with a «brisk» walk back from the boardwalk) we arrived 10 minutes after the text. I was happy and surprised that they hadn’t given our table away. In a nutshell a solid option if you’re in the area but don’t plan for an intimate conversation with your dining companions.

Peanut butter vodka made in house. ‘Nuff said. Seriously though, this is always a must stop for me while in Rehoboth. It’s a crowd pleaser because their menu is big and has everything, from burgers to seafood. I had a scallops special here once over grits and it was really good. I don’t usually like ordering grits when I’m up north because they tend to be pretty sucktacular but these were creamy and thick, like grits should be. Today I ordered a Ahi Tuna BLT. I ordered the tuna as rare as possible, like I always do, and they didn’t disappoint. The sandwich was overall very good, the one slight disappointment is that the«kimchi» it came with was not at all spicy. Still a delicous sandwich, though. They also make their own beer and vodka, as previously mentioned. Their house bloody mix goes perfect with their pickle brine vodka. Down a few of these before heading to the boardwalk, you’ll have a much better time. I’m not really a beer aficionado but they have LOTS of different craft brews if you’re into that sort of thing. Service is always super friendly, and they even have their own parking lot so you don’t have to deal with Rehoboth parking enforcement. You can even buy a bottle of peanut butter vodka to take home with you! Definitely one of the better places in downtown Rehoboth Beach.
