Well, we were pretty excited to have this new place open but unfortunately it fell short. Ugh! We sat at the bar on a not busy day — and wait staff was super helpful and super nice. And the scene is totally cute — fun décor and ambience for sure. However, the food fell short. The queso has way too much flour in it — can totally taste it. And the chorizo was burnt on top. We ordered burgers medium. That should mean a warm bloody inside but not raw and nicely grilled outside. Unfortunately, our burgers were so burnt on the bottoms that they were crunchy and tasted like grease! Yuck. The inside of my hubs was perfectly cooked. But mine was literally raw meat not bloody — raw ground beef. So couple burnt to a literal crisp on the outside with cold raw ground beef in the inside — not good. Sorry to say we aren’t sure we will go back. There are too many good standard ‘go to’s’ here in Reho to return.

Absolutely delicious!!! The tots, butternut soup, and veggie sandwich were amazing. Even the kids Mac & cheese was fabulous. I don’t have any pix because we all ate so fast! The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is causal and cozy.

Awesome outside/indoor environment! Food is cheap for the beach and delicious($ 9 calamari is the best!) service was spot on. Cool beach music, awesome decorations. You really can’t beat the food for this price. I wouldn’t recommend their fish tacos. The sauce on the fish tacos is a little off, it should be sweeter instead of a smokey soy sauce taste. Definitely some of the best fresh tasting food I’ve had in rehobeth though. And I can’t stress enough how fantastic the service was.

Recommended from some of their staff at another bar. Had dinner on a Saturday night. Unfortunately we only ordered appetizer because it wasn’t that great… Had the calamari, quesadilla and wedge salad. Calamari could’ve used an oil change… quesadilla was just standard in the wedge salad did not have dressing throughout the whole salad couple balls of blue cheese on top.

We stumbled across this place staying at Hotel Rehobeth. The atmosphere, service, food, drinks and prices are outstanding! I had fish tacos and my wife had crabcakes. We love both.

We had a GREAT time here last night after wandering around Rehobeth, looking for a friendly place with a good vibe and interesting menu. Everything was great! Steve and John at the bar took great care of us… service could not have been friendlier. The manager, Michelle, explained how the restaurant just opened… what a great addition to the dining scene in Rehobeth. We love the chalkboard walls… great way to keep kids occupied while mom and dad enjoy an adult beverage! We will be visiting again…

I went to Beachside on Saturday night with a friend. Even though it was around 7, we only had a very brief wait while they cleaned off an outside table. While we waited, we went into the bar area for a cocktail. I ordered a Beach Bum and my friend had a Bathtub Gin. We were both really pleased with our drinks(so pleased that we may or may not have ordered a feeeeeeeew more), and I also enjoyed all the kitschy games you could play at the bar. When our table was ready we were sat out on the the front patio under the twinkle lights(love twinkle lights). Our server arrived quickly and was attentive throughout. We shared the bacon dumplings as an appetizer(delicious), and I ordered the crabcake sandwich while my friend had the grilled mahi. We were both very pleased with our meals, and equally as pleased to take in the beautiful sunset from our table. I highly recommend checking it out!

Ordered a kale & romaine Caesar salad with chicken and got iceberg lettuce, chicken and little pieces of soggy bread drenched in soy sauce! Soggy. Not what the menu says it is. I even saw the half a head of iceberg that was used in the back from my seat. Others in our party got burgers and it had so many different spices and flavored they couldn’t even tell what it was & they were sad they ordered what they did. Yuck.

Wanted to wait a couple of visits to write this review. Our first dinner was a little iffy since they had just opened. Since then, they have got all the elements working smoothly. The food here is superb: we have had the black pepper calamari, wild mushroom and goat cheese quesadilla, beachside burger, beachside cobb salad, mahi fingers, beachside BLT, shortrib tacos, chopped salad, and braised bacon meatloaf. We loved everthing. The servers are professional, prompt, and knowledgeable; the wines are excellent, and the selection of beers can’t be beat. There is inside and patio dining and one of the most unique bars in Rehoboth. With the wrinkles worked out, Beachside is here to stay.

Stopped in when I heard about the free water. All I can say is bravo! They really put the H in the H20! Very delicious.

So we went down to the sushi place across the street for happy hour, but there was no real sushi on the happy hour menu. On the way back we stopped into Beachside because the girl at the front was telling us how amazing the fish tacos were and that she just had them yesterday. Well, 5 minutes later and Jill the bartender had us hooked up with espresso well martinis at $ 5 each and fish tacos that were truly great. Getting a second order now! The crispy Brussels sprouts were like getting a salad and the mushroom and goat cheese quesadillas were filling. Beer nuts appetizer was spicy and sweet. What a great find at just the right time! Ask for Jill the bartender And get the fish tacos!

First off — reservations. Party of 8. made them for lunch, table was ready on time although the restaurant was pretty full. Server — Matt. He was awesome. Drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert all came out at reasonable time with enough time in-between courses. Food — great on concept, short on delivery. Chorizo Queso was too runny, Crab cake sandwich had too many jalapeños that the crab taste was lost. Brussels Sprouts appy was good. Overall, would give them another chance.

Nice change of pace for your typical Rehoboth restaurants. Great prices, great cocktails. A bit stuffed inside, the waitstaff kept bumping my chair which was annoying but forgivable. The waiter, Paul, was knowledgable and very nice to my kid(not all waiters are). The food was great and I loved the partitioned plates and side options. Get the tots appetizer! And ask your waiter for suggestions. I read the other reviews, I get it. We went their second week so maybe they worked the kinks out. Our food was great and served in a timely manner. My cousin, who is «in the biz» suggested I knock a star off because she observed the hostess training someone and being kind of nasty about it. She also observed the seating was crazy tight and pointed out seating drama with other parties sitting. Whatever. The staff seemed friendly to me and their seating drama is not my problem. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant has an amazing beach vibe with one of the friendliest staffs in town. Food is creative and delicious, prices are incredibly affordable, and the music is always great. Their beer selection is perfect whether you’re grabbing a cold one hot off the beach or sitting down for a full meal. The cocktails are simple but amazing. Definitely a place to check out where the locals go!

The ambiance of the place is a nice break from most of the restaurants in Rehoboth, just very casual and laid back. Price points in the food were very affordable as well. I started out with the the wings which were pretty good, nicely fried, stayed crispy, and they weren’t doused in sauce. However, my fish tacos were pretty lackluster. You know those tacos you pick up and all the liquid runs out everywhere? Yeah these were those, with a little shred of fish. Also, the fries, which I got with fish tacos for some reason, were way under done. Just greasy and soft. I think the place has some potential and the price points are definitely great for the beach. However, they are going to have to up their food game. Everyone I was with got the burger and whatever the secret spice was, it overwhelmed the burger.

You have to be amused that every time someone gives a honest review about this place and how bad it is, all of a sudden a few 5 star reviews pop up by faceless brand new Unilocalers! They can’t possibly be dining in the same restaurant! I hope they spend more time improving the restaurant and less time getting family and friends to add bogus 5 star reviews to draw in more disappointed customers!

Just took the family there to try and avoid a chain restaurant. We should have known by all the flys all over the place to leave immediately. Mac and cheese for the kids was terrible, chicken sandwich had a rubber texture(couldn’t even cut it with a knife to try it). The fish tacos made a fish filet at McDonald’s seem like a delicacy. I would also stop covering everything on parmesan cheese. I really hope they get their act together or they won’t be around long. Such a shame to spend almost $ 100 for 6 people and be disappointed.

We found out about this place from the local paper that recommended it. It has a very seaside casual motif. There are fun beer bottle chandeliers hung from the ceiling. The waitress was friendly. I had the sautéed Brussels sprouts appetizer which compared favorably to others I’ve had. Thad had a beer nuts appetizer that was likely 1000+ calories by itself. We are less than ¼ of it to save room for dinner. Thad’s BLT sandwich was more substantial than he expected but he enjoyed it. If you’re hungry, it will fill you up. I enjoyed the fish tacos. There were only two in the order but that worked for me as I wasn’t super hungry. But two small tacos for $ 11 seemed a bit pricey. They were delicious if a bit sloppy to eat. Not a bad thing in this casual atmosphere. There are napkins for that reason. At the table next to us are a family of 13 and the waiter is treating everyone well. I’m sure they will enjoy their meals. I’d check out this restaurant again for other menu items the next time we’re in Rehoboth.

New restaurant = +1 star. Go here if you have a lot of time… took way too long to get our drinks. Got apps before drinks? Not acceptable. We kept getting told«this is a wild night» essentially to say don’t expect good service. We got this message again and again… well, the three times our waiter stopped by. Stop throwing your coworkers under the bus and make it work. Honestly I shouldn’t have to hear about all the problems. Later, the team started working together(another waiter filled our empty water glasses) so maybe there is hope. Food: bacon dumplings and calamari were bland. Seriously, No flavor? Pulled pork and meatloaf Mac n cheese and mashers… delish! So maybe skip the apps and order the entrees. Don’t let your waiter take your drink order, then come back for entrée order… unless you have two hours to spend. Apps-1 star. Entrees above — 4 stars Service — awful. 1 star if that’s the minimum. Our second round of drinks took so long we had them cancelled, then got check 20 minutes later… and it had to be corrected. Really think half the meal shoulda been comped. Hopefully everything gets in synch soon as there is promise here…

The beer nuts were awesome! I really liked the burger. A very nice rub on the beef. Fries were good too. The chorizo queso wasn’t great, and the tots were covered with the same cheese. Bacon dumplings were small but tasty. My wife said the beach side chopped salad was outstanding. We’d come back for the burgers and beer nuts, but skip the other appetizers next time.
