Great! Alot of fun! We ate there a week after we had a horrible experience at hobos across the street. . The service was good… the food was good… Fyi…its a bar that has a lot of local men as patrons… They have blue lights all over the resturant. .which gives off nice lighting… I would recommend for a nice dinner.

I am visiting from NYC and again(same as last year) the owner of this establishment has not changed. On arrival he was confrontational in demanding that his guests conform to his rules as to where we could spend money. My friends and I were having«only» drinks so we were relegated to the«sand» and not permitted to set foot on his precious deck, while we observed that there was nobody sitting on the deck! He could have greeted us pleasantly and offered a menu and encouraged us to eat in his establishment. We were thinking about dining but with his attitude and lack of concern with his patrons we ate a pleasant meal elsewhere! I’ll be glad to return to NYC where there is a more hospitable place to spend my money!

Such good food for dinner. The caprese salad was fantastic. Fluffy, flavorful mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Incredibly good crab cakes with perfectly-cooked fresh asparagus and Brussels sprouts. The service is fun and friendly, and very attentive. Definitely a Rehoboth favorite.

My daughter and I stumbled upon this place and were quickly coaxed in by the very cute and personable host, Bill. He promised a fabulous lunch and they certainly delivered. We started with the tuna tartare that was fresh and tasty. And how could I pass up a $ 5 orange crush(or 2). The tuna flat bread was essentially the tartare on the flat bread crust which was equally as tasty as the appetizer. I had the mahi mahi sandwich which was prepared perfectly(fresh and seared, not over done with perfect amount of seasoning, not too salty). The wait staff were all cute and friendly. And kudos to our waiter, Mikey, for an outstanding job. This is definitely a place we will revisit with each trip to Rehoboth!

So a few of us are at Aqua again — wait staff seem to not notice — WTF? No interaction at all — until last call — Then a «you guys want anything?» Question ! Aqua is fading — fast — will it survive through the end if the season — probably — back next year — remains to be seen ! Returned for dinner 8÷14÷15 — 30 minutes — not a single server — so we left — sad service is so poor!

This gay bar is a refreshing change from what I’m used to… it’s not a dive, yet it’s not overwhelmingly big or glamorous. It’s the perfect fit for the beach. I went multiple times during my first trip to Rehoboth several years ago and am happy to report after my recent trip that it has retained its popularity and charm. The staff is friendly(and cute to boot), the drinks are strong(be careful!) and the brunch food is actually quite good. Unlike the gay bars I’ve experienced near me patrons are approachable instead of cliquish. I absolutely love the huge patio. Tables are scattered throughout with ledges at the perimeter to stand and chat as well. There’s an indoor dance floor after 9(dining room is converted) and people actually do dance(and the music is current).

Went there on a Saturday night. Packed but we were able to get a table on the deck since everyone else walks around. Service was great since there are so many waiters. Friendly crowd, really easy to meet people. We really liked the flatbread. Definitely will be going back.

Love this place!!! Food is phenomenal!!! The owner told us they recently changed the menu, and the food is cooked fresh to order. That care is reflected in the food. YUMMM We came in a Tuesday and returned on a Thursday… it was that good. The servers were all fantastic, and genuinely interested in our dining experience. On both of our visits, Bill, the owner, stopped at our table and checked on us. Karen sings on Tuesday and Thursday… songs from the 60’s to today. Wonderful!

This place is frequently PACKED, probably mostly the result of only three gay bars in Rehoboth Beach these days, not the quality of their food or drink. I like to think of myself as a fairly flexible, adventurous person. Having spent some time there, I worry about the level of appreciation that others show. Things must be DESPERATE in that neck of the woods. The evening we were able to get a table, The table was a barrel, with no room for knees. The chairs were uncomfortable. The chanteuse was off-key and had a limited vocal range. The sandwiches were COLD, BLAND and UNAPPETIZING. The waiters were disinterested. You may want to go there to meet friends, but don’t eat or drink there.

We love coming here! The food is delicious and the service is perfect! They always have a table available and accommodate requested! Tonight I had salmon with Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes fried that were out of this world! If you are in Rehoboth you must try it!

This was probably my favorite bar in Rehoboth. We came though at night for drinks and also for brunch and both experiences were great. The patio space in front of the bar is really pleasant and spacious enough to handle large crowds. The service was very friendly(really surprised to see so many reviews about unfriendly servers… very much not the case for us) and I thought the prices were reasonable. Like most places in Rehoboth, it’s a short stroll from the beach and just about everything else in town. Be warned that there is a $ 20 credit card minimum. I don’t begrudge small businesses for having minimums but $ 20 seemed a little high to me.

I have dined at Aqua three times this summer and I recommend it for casual, moderately priced, good eating. The servers are attentive, the food nicely presented and tasty. They do a good job. One suggestion: they should ban smoking on the deck. Having to walk through the haze of tobacco addicts to get in to a restaurant is annoying.

We went here for lunch one day, dinner the next and late night dancing the night after. Staff was super friendly. Food was good and music was pumping! Plan to make this a regular spot whenever we’re in Rehoboth.

EATHERE! We happened upon the AG by chance after we had tried to eat at Jakes up the street. But since Jakes cooks /fries in Peanut oil and we have a child with a peanut allergy, we had to walk out. We were pleasantly surprised by the AG. We have 18 month old twins and an 11 year old so finding a place on the trendy Baltimore street was a challenge. However the owner of the AG practically came out to the sidewalk to get us to come in. He was not deterred by the babies. Which was a relief because some of the nicer places in this town make it very clear children are not welcome(blue moon up the street). The food was well prepared and presented. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had the Tuna Tacos and both dishes were fantastic. My son had a hamburger with very yummy garlic fries. As an appetizer try the Philly steak and cheese egg rolls. YUM! The bill for the three of us to eat was only $ 60 but we did not get anything from the bar but for Baltimore Street I would say the prices were very good. The owner is tremendously friendly the staff were friendly and well trained too! We will go back.

I’ve not eaten here in several years, so this review is solely based on my experience having a drink there. We decided to stop in on our way to a show at Clear Space Theater. The bartender was quick and friendly… drinks were good. What amazes me is the rudeness of the owner. He was sitting on a stool as you enter… looked up then back down at what he was doing. No, hello, welcome, nothing. Same thing when we left. I don’t understand business owners who don’t have the common courtesy to greet and thank paying customers. Too many other places to spend money where one’s business is appreciated.

Absolutely love this place! Each year in Rehoboth we spend just about every night here. The cocktails are strong and they keep coming fast — not to mention being served by the hottest shirtless men ever! It’s always packed and a blast to hang here.

I always found bachelorette parties annoying, especially in gay bars. But then I inadvertently wound up in my sister’s party and we found our way to Aqua Grill. Finding myself on the receiving end of a reactionary double standard our own community created, and witnessing the aftermath of being asked to leave really disappointment me. Not only did Delaware recently legalize gay marriage, but federal equality is recognized there as well… both situations that every woman(and gay man) in this party was well aware of. So how is this a slap in the face? Plus, it’s a beach bar, not a local, windowless tavern populated by curmudgeons that use their local watering holes like gay community centers. In fact, if you’re that insecure about your sexuality, you probably shouldn’t be seeking out a bar to cope. You don’t fight prejudice with prejudice. Luckily each of these women was understanding and has been a long time ally of our community and no sour experience will spoil that. What’s astonishing is just how inconsiderate this attitude is. Sure, these parties can be a bit annoying, but it’s a once in a lifetime celebration. While expelling these parties might quell the insecurity of the few annoyed by their very presence, salvaging the evening for a handful of gay men unable to turn the other cheek, it leaves a lasting impression on a group celebrating an event that they will likely never experience again and remember for the rest of their lives. Of course none of this bigotry compares to the blatant statement from the manager that the bar caters to men, and that he waited to say something to us at first because three me were in our party. I know this is common in our«gay bars,» but it’s also 2013. I’m dumfounded that misogyny prevails in the gay male community. In fact, given the reaction from straight men throughout the night, the sexism on the part of Aqua far exceeds anything I saw all night. Bars in Delaware aren’t allowed to ask gay men to leave, how does it do ourselves any favors to expressly discourage an entire gender from our public establishments? Aqua needs to update its website, which clearly states, «Aqua Grill is a gay-owned and operated establishment, but welcomes everyone and features an eclectic mix of avid party-goers, locals, adoring fans and weekly tourists.»

It’s unthinkable, but I — the last of the tiny curmudgeons — is rewriting a review. Aqua is a damn good bar, and it’s a friendly place whether you’re gay or straight. Good service, very good ABC control. Don’t think you’re going to walk in with kids. It’s not happening as some mouthy tourists found out. In the last couple of years, I’ve been a much higher standard here. It’s more like a beachside supper club in some regards. More high tone and relaxing. I have my favorites of course. The awesomely funny young man with the bleach blond hair who greets us, it seems every time we’re there. Don’t under estimate him: that boy will hurt you if you get out of line. The nice young people who work here do a great job and it’s a light, fun atmosphere where it’s quiet enough to hear each other speak without straining. It’s nice to see that straights are welcome, too. After many years of coming here, we finally met Bill and what a wonderful gentleman! A wonderful host. No wonder Aqua is a mainstay at the beach!

Great place for drinks while you’re enjoying time in Rehoboth. However, this past visit found me and my friends eating there, which was a first for me. We were there late so it wasn’t a problem getting a table. We ordered nachos and calamari to start. Both were fine, nothing great, but also not horrible. I ordered a burger, which was well cooked and pretty big, with fries. I think the most surprising element of dining at Aqua was that the prices were very reasonable. Of course, the staff is very friendly and nice. I’ll definitely be back for drinks, but I’d also be happy to eat at Aqua again.
