Do yourself a favor and walk down the street to Blue Moon for food and service that is the same price and one billion times better. This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I went during a vegan event as it was touted as the best place to go to. The prices were absurd, which is what is it is.($ 30 for a quesadilla?! I don’t think so.) The biggest problem, though, was that the food was absolutely disgusting. Something as simple as hummus was made to taste so acidic and rotten(is that even possible?) that I spit it out. The main course that my friend received was so gelatinous she couldn’t finish more than two bites, and as I glanced around the relatively full dining room I continued to see people with strange, grossed out faces as they politely pushed the rest of their meals away from them. Another huge issue was that the service was atrocious. At first I thought our particular server(an otherwise entertaining person named Chrissy) was just having a bad day, but after three others messed up orders, left us without drinks or water for over an hour and a half, and didn’t bus our table(with 6 people it got quite crowded) the entire time we were there, I realized it was every single person there. I have never cancelled an order and left, never refused to pay for something, and never left without leaving a tip, but I did all three. After waiting over two hours for a salad(the second of what was supposed to be 4 special courses just for that day), I asked for the check, that they remove everything that wasn’t edible, and went across the street.

Great place! I ate here for the first time last October during a greyhound event(Greyhounds Reach the Beach). I was not Vegan at that time but was dining with some friends that were. They raved about the food and even though there were plenty of non-vegan options I decided to go with all vegan dishes. I ate completely 100% vegan that night and LOVED it, every last bite. Besides enjoying the food, I have to mention the atmosphere and the staff. It is trendy, eclectic warm and inviting all rolled into one. Our servers were attentive and I can’t seem to recall the owner’s name but she took timeout to chat with me and made me feel like I was at a family member’s house for dinner. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Impressive vegan/vegetarian options. My favorites: Thai Basil Buddha Bowl: Flavorful with a little bit of a kick. Appreciated the veggie/tofu to rice ratio. Eggplant Napoleon: That vegan mozzarella! So creamy and rich, could have fooled me. Zesty tomato sauce, perfectly cooked eggplant. Bellisima! Couscous Salad: Fresh artichokes, eggplant, spinach, and basil with a tangy olive oil dressing. Filling, but not heavy. Perfect. The service was excellent, very attentive and eager to accommodate diners’ dietary restrictions and preference. Held back a star because even though I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I felt some of the vegan/vegetarian items were slightly overpriced. I would definitely return if in the area.

We are a high maintenance group for a restaurant. My sister and I both have celiac disease, so we need to eat gluten-free. She is a vegetarian; I am a carnivore. My other sister is a pescatarian, and my cousin is a vegan. Sometimes I worry that we will make the waiter’s head explode! There were multiple delicious choices here for each of us. The waiter and the chef were accommodating, helpful and very friendly. We ate here right after Christmas and I can’t remember the exact entrees(I know I had some kind of yummy quesadilla, and the filet, and my cousin had a salad with tempeh), but EVERYONE loved their food. That never happens. They have a great selection of cocktails, too.

The food is extremely overpriced despite their claiming«it’s very fresh.» We ordered and split Vietnamese Phở soup and the server seems baffled by us asking for a extra bowl. It was extremely large, however I did not find it too enjoyable. We went right next door to frank and Louie’s and got a great sandwich. Now the waiter asked me if I needed another water, offered to bring another, however never did. That’s always a pet peeve of mine. This last part, is why I gave them a 1 star and recommend everyone avoid. Other reviews said you had to add up your own bill so I was sure to check mine. $ 18 for soup and $ 6 to add meat. He charged me 26. So as soon as I asked the female server the prices, he saw me and had this look of concern and immediately ran over and said«oh, I charged you $ 2 too much for the meal!» He purposely overcharged me and when he realized he was busted, he ran to cover it up. I am considering filing a complaint with consumer affairs, it was completely obvious it was not accidental… Do not go here. Lastly, the to-go bag was a Safeway grocery bag. They gave us a used bag to take our food home in. I don’t even think the board of health would allow that…

VEGANTASTYCOOL! This is by far the best restaurant for vegans anywhere around. While not exclusively vegan(or vegetarian), they have an *extensive* vegan menu; all or nearly all of their cuisine can be made vegan. Their cuisine is like west coast insofar as they offer various new american entrees as well as americanizations of mexican and asian dishes. Also– Décor is colorful, and funky with a retro-new-age feel! Great for any occasion or meal including brunch and dinner. Love this place and SOGLAD that it is in Rehoboth Beach! THANKYOU!

I really love the idea behind this restaurant. However, the quality of food does not match the outrageous price. $ 22 for very plain vegan Mac and Cheese and some veggies is ridiculous. The kids $ 6 meals were as big as mine. Next time I’m ordering from the kid’s menu.

Yo this place f***ing rocked!!! I am a vegan and this Delaware town is very lame. Everyone is wearing a polo? What’s up with that? Anyway this restaurant felt very out of place and cool. Non-gender specific bathrooms, beautiful chairs, very friendly staff. The food THEFOOD was some of the best sh*t I have Ever eaten. And I’m from NYC. I had the vegan chicken quesadilla and vegan Mac and cheese. My brother who usually hates vegan food said it tasted like real cheese and he would not be able to tell the difference, had he been bamboozled. Um why are all the drivers in this state so aggressive? Unrelated to this restaurant. Great place. Five stars. Way too expensive but who cares???

Every time we visit Rehoboth Beach, we make it our aim to eat at Hobos, at least once, but we end up there often. Whether you want a little nosh or a full meal, you cannot go wrong. Every morsel is lovingly prepared with the finest, locally-grown, sustainable ingredients. And the hand-crafted cocktails? Try every one. Twice. It’ll quickly become your favorite place in this lovely, charming town.

First and last time at this restaurant, found hair in food, service was confusing, we had 4 different people waiting on our party of 9 and food wasn’t that good. Hallway to the bathrooms gives a birds eye view of the kitchen that seemed dirty and cluttered. The bathroom was NOT clean! We had to calculate our own bill. We were handed our original hand written bill and spent 20 minutes trying to split the bill 4 ways. Just not for me, guess I’m not a Hobo.

It’s weird how some of the earlier reviews complained about the service; when I went it was almost like they wouldn’t leave you alone. Food had some ups and downs: the brie & mushroom quesadilla was AMAZING and while just an appetizer it was big enough for a whole meal. My veggie burger had some issues. It was supposed to come with an olive tapenade and instead had a really greasy, grilled vegetable mush. It didn’t have much taste on top of that. Prices were really high based on what you got — lunch for three people, with no drinks was $ 89. I would go again just for the great vegetarian options but I’d be careful what I picked the next time around.

My fiancé and I came to Rehoboth Beach with our dog, not realizing that we couldn’t take her onto the beach, so we decided to stay for lunch. We used our phones to look up restaurants that are dog friendly, and decided to try a new restaurant. The hostess on the outdoor patio seemed a little put off that we had come with our dog, and reluctantly sat us on the patio at a high top, which, if we didn’t have our dog would have been fine, but we wanted to be at a lower table to more easily keep her leash at our side, and when we requested one of the open, lower tables, she flatly told us they were reserved. The menus came out quickly, and our server was nice enough, but didn’t seem to know a lot about the menu. We split a chicken wrap, that to be honest was lacking in flavor and was forgettable, and was also over priced. We wanted very badly to like this place, but we don’t think we will be returning.

Highly overpriced. Any self-respecting vegetarian or vegan would not be taken by their underwhelming and small white rice and veggie bowls. One member of our party wasn’t notified they were out of the fish she had ordered until everyone else’s entrees had been delivered. Service was lacking to say the least. $ 20+ quesadillas that were creative but not delicious enough to justify price. $ 18 veggie burger was very good but again very overpriced and served with sweet potato fries that were so over cooked they were just crisp skins with air in the middle rather than moist potato flesh. Very disappointing.

We came here just to get some drinks, which I can understand can make waiters upset. However, when the place is pretty much empty, you would think that they would take the money where they can. We were pretty much pushed out of the establishment by the rudeness of the staff. The management has little to no idea of how to treat a customer. This is not the first time that I’ve heard of stuff like this happening here and I will never be returning. In all fairness I did not try the food so I cannot give this zero stars. I’ll give it one for kicks and giggles.

This place has fallen on hard times. i went when the first opened, the menu was excellent, prices were… ok… but the vegan inspired menu was good. Since then, my wife and i have visited once or twice in the last 2 years. The wait staff couldn’t care less, the prices are even higher, for extremely sub-par food. Totally sucks because it was great. that being said, the crostini and the hummus is still good and the«best damn mojito» drink is still petty good too. Probably wont be going back, a dinner for two will set you back about 60 $ or 70 $ and its just plain not worth it.

Inedible, overpriced food. Subpar service. We went to this place because we had our dog with us and wanted to stop somewhere for happy hour. They said they had happy hour, but the easier to had no idea what’s on it. When he found out we ordered drinks, crab dip and sweet potato fries. The crab dip showed in 5 minutes, which was alarming. The bread was deep fried in what smells like oil used to fry fish. The dip tasted like microwaved store bought dip. The drinks took 20 minutes to show up. When the sweet potato fries they were the worst. They were raw. Even when they took then back to fry then some more they were horrible. Probably left over from last season. The only reason they get 1 star is they gave our dog water. Steer clear
