Gary and Lorraine Papp are one of the most talented couples in the area as chefs and bakers. We have had experienced their hors d’oeuvres, main course and cakes/pastries etc. on many occasions. Everything has always been great!!! I am so excited they are opening a restaurant now we can enjoy their food all the time. Not just at events.

I have used Essential Chef the past five years for an annual event in Lewes, Delaware. The food is amazing — all farm to table using local delaware fruits, vegetables, fish and ice cream! They are great people to work with and can take care of anything you need for an event — rentals, linens, flowers and of course the food. They mix it up each year so we never feel like we are at the same event year after year. I love working with them — they make it so easy and we get rave reviews from our guests.

I attended a weekend party catered by Essential Chef and was as impressed with the professionalism as I was with the food. Night one we feasted on shellfish in true clam bake style. Night two featured delicious crab cakes and filet mignon that would be cut with a butter knife. I would HIGHLY recommend Essential Chef to anyone looking for excellent food and top notch service.
