We love the wonderful, Rehoboth Beach, Outback!!! Use the, ‘call ahead seating’! For the past thirteen years, my family, friends, and I, have been faithful, sometimes, weekly, guests. Owner, Trish Carlson, has carefully assembled a consistently welcoming, friendly, and hardworking staff. She is devoted and sets a very high standard!!! The managers, servers, bartenders, and chefs, have always become special friends, known by name, and greeted with genuine happiness. The restaurant is immaculate and the food is prepared with high quality care. We always ask for steaks and, ‘grass fed’ hamburgers, cooked, ‘without weight’, so that they remain plump and juicy. We love the salmon, ’10 ounce with seafood seasoning’! The cheesecake is a dense and savory, showstopper, with excellent crust. If ever, there has been a problem, it is quickly resolved. Current managers, TJ, Jasmine, and Tim, visit tables and happily insure guest satisfaction! Consistently, everyone has eaten their favourite meal! When you visit, say ‘hello, from Katie and Kathy’, to CR, Danny, Tammi, Tara, Felisha, Lisa, Meagan, Andrew, Tez, Courtney, and the list goes on!!! Enjoy our wonderful, Outback!!!

Let me start by saying that I have eaten at several Outback Steakhouses and this one was the worst experience i have ever had. We normally go to the one in Ocean City, MD and that location is outstanding! This one not so much. We sat at the entrance for almost five minutes before someone came to greet us. Not what we normally experience at an Outback. The waiter was just ok. He was friendly and seemed to care about the service but his English was broken which is a pet peeve of of mine. Both loafs of bread we had were not fresh. I ordered the porterhouse pork chop,(which is one of my favorite dishes). I don’t think they put any seasoning on it because it had no taste. My loaded mash potatoes felt and tasted like instant potatoes. They were hard and lacked any flavor. My asparagus tasted good however they did not trim the ends of the asparagus. My wife ordered the Allasprings chicken. She said it was good. However my daughters hamburger lacked flavor. Tasted like the just threw the meat on the grill with no seasoning. Her french fries were also cold. I will continue to go the other Outback locations however will not go to this one again.

I went to the outback a few nights ago with my son and step dad, the food was OK, not really anything special, buy our service was great, sadly I forgot our servers name, but she was amazing. She brought out an extra sweet potato for my son, actually her manager did, so he could eat a potato, add there was honey in the butter in mind. It seems like that’s not a big deal, but I thought it was so kind, and Joseph loved it

I normally like the Outback but not today. My family stopped in for lunch and my wife and I ordered an Alice chicken and the fish tacos. Both items were coated in pepper, far too much for either of us to eat. The kicker was our slow, slow service. There were 2 tables in the whole place but we still had snail service. Even after getting the bill and a box for our pepper bombs, we sat for another 10 min.(our 2 little ones, 5&3, were itching to leave or go anywhere). It will be awhile til we return…

My family and I eat at this particular establishment often. Never had a bad meal or poor service. Last night we ate and again another great dinner. The server was Ciera and she was fantastic.

Ate here yesterday for a late lunch shortly after they opened. Hubby and I each ordered a steak… his was a delmonico, and mine was a filet mignon. Service was ok. Nothing remarkably bad or good. We were disappointed in the steaks. For a steakhouse, we expected really good quality. My filet looked nothing like the picture. In the picture on the menu, it’s nice and thick, as a filet should be. Mine was very thin. It wasn’t very tnder, and I had a few unchewable pieces. The house salad was ok… typical white iceberg lettuce. That was a disappointment. The baked potato was very good. A good size and cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a lackluster, and somewhat disappointing meal. We don’t expect to return.

Outback sucks! We called for preferential seating. We arrived early. A party of 9 came in after us without preferential seating and was given the option of sitting at 2 different tables. We were not given that option. The other party? They were seated immediately. The manager then chose to argue with us about it in front of other customers. The hostess told her we were taken care of and the manager then ignored us. 30 minutes later we were finally seated. Once seated, we had a very nice waitress and the food was fine. The manager never came back to check on us even one time. The manager gets zero stars. The waitress should have had 4 and the food 3 – 4.

Seriously, why go to a crummy chain restaurant when in Rehoboth? Unfortunately someone gave me a gift card for Outback so against my better judgement we went. And guess what? Not surprisingly it was awful. We weren’t really too hungry so we got a smaller ribeye than the ginormous thing chain places usually serve. Rather than cutting it smaller, they cut it thinner. So they couldn’t cook it medium rare as we requested. It was nearly well done and dry as dust. So typical of a chain restaurant with high school kids doing the cooking. Never again even if I get a gift card.

The staff were not only very friendly, but also sweetly accommodating to my infant with special needs. She has to be in a very bulky stroller due to not being able to sit up and not one single staff member complained about making space for her. We let them know ahead and the manager was quick to figure it out despite the fact that we had come an hour before closing. The food is always really good, but staff tend to be a hit or miss. I love their grilled shrimp(the ones on the stick) and while the steak may not be loaded with flavor, it is always tender and juicy. Try their porterhouse pork chop! It is always juicy.

Just tried to order from the new Outback $ 6.99 lunch menu. When I called to order, they informed me that there is in fact not one thing on their menu for $ 6.99. In fact, most of their«6.99» products are actually $ 12.99. Call and ask them yourself! 302.227.4858 when we complained about it, the manager pretty much told us «oh well» and hung up on us.

We like this particular Outback for consistent, professional service and a fairly competent kitchen for a chain restaurant. Order your filet medium rare and you won’t have to send it back for being over done. French onion soup(tho made with Provolone) is really good and salads are fresh – you can have it your way, too, with everything«on the side» so it is not overdressed. Portions are reasonable and it is possible to accommodate vegetarians in a party, though vegan would be a challenge. All in all, we find dining here an excellent bargain, which keeps us coming back.

Food was good, burgers, soup and salad. Service was great but inside temperature on the cool side. Sweaters a must.

I am sorry to say, it was a terrible disappointment. Out of five people in our party, only one had a decent dinner. One person had a tough piece of meat like a shoe, mine was too pink and also hard to che, the mac & cheese was… tasteless, the ribs were fatty. Our server was not attentive. What was good was the sweet and garlic mashed potatoes. Our salads were scraps. Sad to say, we are done with Outback :-(.

this was my very first visit to outback! we came here after he needed a break from outlet mall shopping food we were at happy hour so we got 1. bloomin’ onion-my first and i liked it 2. outback burger– good, service: we sat at the bar, and the barkeep was fine the food came to use slowly. they didnt bring me pickles even though it was on the menu. after i pointed this out to the waiter, i got the face of annoyance. parking-confusing entry from the road but there is ample parking price-we used a gift certificate, so the meal was free, woohoo!

Jasmine was my waitress. She was the best part of my entire visit. Great friendly smile, extremely attentive… For an Outback she is Awesome! My soup was delicious, the rest well just OK. But hey it is Outback. It is what we have come to expect, I guess.

Had dinner a few times here including this past Thursday night. I was there just a few minutes to 9p forgetting after summer they close at 9p mon-thurs. they smiled and let me in anyway. Great I’m local and really hungry. I ordered a salad and a rare sirloin with broccoli. My salad came ASAP and was fresh and yummy with lots of tomato. My steak was cooked rare just as requested. It went well with the fresh steamed seasoned broccoli. I ate every bite. I was paid up at 930p and left grateful and satisfied. Yes the location is awkward to get into but it’s on rte 1 so with prime real estate entering places sometimes is a little annoying. Not the staffs fault. I like it here. Nelson at the bar smiles. The lady chef makes a great steak. Off season they are open all year and feed us just fine.

ACHTUNG: DIESESRESTAURANTLIEGTINREHOBOTHBEACH, DE, WASQYPENICHTKENNT ! ESLIEGTNICHTINDOVER, DE.

My first time at an Outback Steakhouse and this location alone has possibly tainted my experience forever. First and foremost, the location is TERRIBLE. The entrance is hidden away in the back and down the street, nowhere near where you’d think it’d be. Why advertise so blatantly on Coastal Highway when the actual entrance is so obscure? After spending quite awhile U-Turning and finding the right side street where it’d be located(along with another family looking for the entrance), we finally found the lot. The hostess has the be the worst out of all of my dining experiences. She was so bitter about her job and she took it out on us with full force. You chose to be in this type of industry so don’t take out your crap on people who has nothing to do with it. She hastily tossed our menus on the table and I could’ve sworn I heard her grunt when asked for a booster seat for my toddler. I wish I caught her name so I could directly report to the manager. Anyway, once seated, our waiter took our orders. He seemed nice enough, but had no idea what anything on the menu was. It was very obvious that this branch has difficulty training their employees properly. The food was good, no complaints there. We rarely saw our waiter, though. Once our food arrived, he just disappeared until we were ready to pay. That’s not even the worse of it. The wait for him to pick up our check and give us change had to have surpassed 15 minutes. That is not tolerable. Every time I saw him passing by in the distance, I tried to wave him down and clearly saw him make eye contact but continued on his way. We were the last ones there and we wanted to leave but they were making it pretty damned difficult. Nobody paid us any mind the entire time we waited. They were lucky we had common courtesy and left a tip, despite the terrible service but it will definitely be our last.
