The large dining room was a surprise, it is hidden from the main street. Exceptional food and service. We ordered sandwiches, pastry cigarettes, tzatziki dip, lamb kabob sandwich and a tomato and eggplant dip — all of it was very, very good. The service was wonderful — not too in your face but enough that we never felt we needed to chase anyone down. I loved it and cant wait to go back again.

Good quality tasty Turkish food at a fair price. I was surprised to find this in a beach town. Their Turkish feta cheese is very good, and so is the tzatziki dip. Try the hummus and falafel sandwiches/appetizers as well. There is a dining room in back, but you can also order takeout at the front. Monthly belly dancing show is on during the winter months.

Incredible food. Our group split the dolmas(grape leaves filled with rice), which were very good. We also had their special tea(green apple flavored — excellent). I had a falafel wrap and it was the best one I’ve had anywhere. Soooo good! Although the restaurant looks tiny from the front, there are plenty of seats as you walk in. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Service was fast. Highly recommend, as this type of food is harder to find in the Rehoboth area.

Meh Turkish food and the place was freeZing in wintertime! I think they actually dont have heat and only use a small electric space heater. We were told«the heater is on, nothing more can be done.» Food wasn’t very flavorful –tzatziki was runny and not garlicky, salad dressing was bland, hummus and pita were okay. Lentil soup was good. Overall, I don’t see myself coming back here.

I love this place, and go there whenever I have a chance to go to the beach. Semra’s lentil soup is the best that I have ever had. I also love their veggie platter. Buy the spice that is in the soup, near the cash register. The owners are very hard-working, friendly and the food is consistently excellent. I have only dined-in, but you can easily get carry-out. Ambiance is okay, fine for the beach. I was there about a month ago on a weekend.

Great little restaurant. Excellent kabobs for a quick fix. I would visit again and order the same things. A jewel in the middle of the boardwalk.

Great spot to have something different from the typical boardwalk food of pizza and hotdogs. They’re right off Rehoboth Boardwalk on Rehoboth Ave. Love the ambiance and look of the place. Very clean and great service and of course, great food! If you don’t wanna come in and sit down to eat, you can just order from the front and take your food to go. Love that the sit down part of this place is in the back, in a completely separate room, so you can really get away from the hustle and bustle and noisy boardwalk while you eat in peace. They also have a good kids menu and are family friendly. I had the chicken kabob served with grilled veggies and rice with a yogurt sacue and pita bread. All was very good. My husband had the lamb kabob served with the same things my chicken kabob was served with and it was great! Moist, flavorful, and no weird gamey after taste that lamb can sometimes have. If I didn’t know it was lamb, I would have thought it was a really tender filet of steak. Our 6 year old had the chicken fingers and fries and ate all of his food. Great spot! We will recommend this place to our friends and families.

We were in Rehoboth Beach for just the day, and wanted good food. We weren’t in the mood for fries, pizza, or seafood, so we walked around and found this place, right off the main road, Rehoboth Avenue. Being from MD, we thought the prices posted outside looked shockingly low, and the offerings on the menu looked great. We thought it was only take-out, but the friendly server invited us into the dining room. The appetizer sampler looks like a winner, for sure. Next time I’m there, I’ll have to try it, along with the baklava. Instead, we had the baba ghanoush for the appetizer– which was arrived quickly, with hot pita bread– and it was amazing. I enjoyed my fish salad(crispy fried flounder on top of feta and salad greens), and my vegetarian husband really liked his falafel sandwich. Good flavorful food, Great prices.

We were pleasantly surprised by Semra’s Mediterranean Grill! In a sea of mediocre boardwalk fare(pizza, fried clams, funnel cake, hot dogs) sits Serma’s. The front looks like a typical boardwalk take out restaurant, then they lead you into the back into a lovely restaurant with a family feel. We had: Platter of assorted dips(Hummus, Baba ghanoush, tzatziki, eggplant dip) with pita — delicious Chicken Gyro — very good Chicken Shawarma — very good Hamburger — tasty Turkish Tea — my new favorite beverage! The bathrooms were very clean and the service was great! What a lovely find!!!

We have gone here every summer since they opened(least two years). They have always been nice and the food is refreshing compared to the normal beach food. However, just now, the lady that has served us many times said we could not dine in their restaurant because my wife was not wearing appropriate clothing. Mind you, my wife was wearing a one piece bathing suit that was very tasteful. In fact she was more covered up than a woman wearing a tank top. It was obvious the female owner/server did not want to deal with patrons coming inside to eat. If they were understaffed to handle us they could have just told us. Getting the food to go would have been worth it because it’s good! So we’re never going back due to this. One last point: we are LITERALLY at the beach. This is a huge beach town/vacation destination! If you want clothed patrons this isn’t the place to run a business! It’s 90+ degrees average during the summer!

Great food. Especially the vegetarian appetizers. Every appetizer is must try and a repeat order. Kabab skewers are juicy, so are the grape leaves.

THISRESTAURANTISABSOLUTELYAMAZING! I would say they have the BEST gyros in Rehoboth Beach. I’ve tried both lamb and chicken and both are excellent, mouthwatering, and huge portions. I usually get the hummus and pita for an appetizer and it taste very fresh and homemade. I’ve also got their baklava, it’s sweet, flaky, and very rich… Delicious!!! The Turkish tea is also very good(those cups are so small, and they’re very quick to refill). I would also recommend going to one of their belly dancing dinner shows. They only have this event about once a month on a Saturday night. You have to call ahead to reserve your table. The place fills up fast on those nights. I think is a pretty unique show for the beach. The owners are sweet and friendly. They treat all their customers like family. Just a nice environment to be around.

Excellent Nutella and pita grilled sandwich. Oh yeah and the combo gyro is waaay better than Gus and Gus(and I say that as a long time fan of the Gus and Gus gyro). The yogurt sauce is heavy on the dill, which gives it a distinct advantage over the G&G gyro. Also, can’t beat the dim seated area with cold cold air conditioning and soothing middle eastern music. A wonderful escape from the sun and masses outside.

Living in Maryland, my husband and I have visited many Mediterranean restaurants. This is by far the best one we have been to. Great service, and great food. The lentil soup was not heavy but still filling. The flavor of the baba ganoush was top notch. The baklava is made in house and is literally the best I’ve had– moist and just the right amount of sweet. The owners are from Turkey, so the dishes are very authentic. I also appreciated that the portions were just right– not so gigantic you can’t finish the meal, but not too terribly small either. Highly recommend, and will be coming back.

Wow– nothing bad to say about it. Every imaginable type of Mediterranean street food. The front of the establishment is wallpapered with actual photos of the entrées they serve. I’ve noticed the only places that do this tend to be Chinese and these Turkish kabob joints, and although it usually cracks me up from its cheesiness, it also tends to work. I think I’ve tried most of the major items depicted out there– gyros, lamb kabobs, Hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, Greek salad, etc. Face it, if it’s on a stick or in a pita, you gotta love it. The place is sort of divided into two parts. The front portion is similar to most boardwalk carryout food counters. But wait! You can continue on into the dining room which has a much different, calmer, sit-down atmosphere. Colorful tarps are draped from the ceiling. It’s more dimly lit and feels kinda like an opium den– but in a good way! Hookahs on the tables would not look out of place nor would a troupe of belly dancers emerging from the kitchen. The little souvenir tin they leave your check in is a nice touch at the end of the meal. Consistently great dishes and service. We usually have lunch here at least one day per trip. It’s a refreshing contrast from other beach/boardwalk food.

Unexpectedly good Mediterranean restaurant on Rehoboth Beach. They offer homemade entres. We had a variety of dishes, all of which were excellent. The staff are very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We recommend this restaurant and will be back on future trips to the beach.

Affordable and delicious. I ordered the lamb kabob(in sandwich form) and it was savory and refreshing. All for under 8 bucks. I added on a desert that is a type of shredded baklava that was also scrumptious. The service is friendly and informative. If you want to place a take out order that’s totally fine too. Fanatic meal to wind down from a day on the beach.

A much welcomed break from the«routine» of shore restaurants. I come for the baba ghannouj, my older son craves their hummus. I personally feel the hummus is at best 3 stars, but the baba, good grief, so creamy and fresh. The falafel balls are on the smaller side, but tasty.

Got the lamb/beef gyro — it was awesome! If you are laying on the beach and want something more healthy than pizza, ice cream, or fries — get a gyro to go! Or forgo the bread and just get the salad with lamb!
