It’s fries, but they’re good ones. I’ve been to Belgium. I’ve been to the Original Hot Dog Shop in Pittsburgh. These rival either. Malt vinegar ain’t bad either. If you’re at the beach, get the fries.

Before traveling to Rehoboth Beach, I read many hyped up reviews so I grabbed a large fries. It’s true that they don’t have ketchup, also the fries are nothing special. No toppings or sauces or anything unique. They’re greasy but cooked in peanut oil. They were great to much on while walking the boardwalk. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again. Not bad though.

There is only one word to describe these French fries… PERFECTION! Whenever I come to Rehoboth Beach, I have to treat myself to Thrashers! One thing to keep in mind, they do not offer ketchup, but can you blame them. When you have fries that taste this GOOD, why cover them up. I usually order a large bucket of fries and add malt vinegar and salt. The outside of the fries are golden brown and crunchy, while the inside is hot and soft. There is another Thrasher’s located one block away(Rehoboth Ave) from this store. It appears that most people reviewed that store. I always go to this store which is located right on the boardwalk. Nothing like literally having boardwalk fries. One of my last meals on earth would consist of a burger from Village whiskey, a shack from Dairy Palace, and French fries from Thrashers! Amen.

Even though I paid $ 9.25 for a large bucket of potatoes cooked in peanut oil, it was worth it. I’ve been eating Thrasher’s fries as long as I can remember, and I love them. Fresh cut fries, cooked perfectly, lightly salted, and half a bottle of malt vinegar gets me off. Not much more to say, other than don’t ask for ketchup. Who knows why they don’t offer it? Potato purists, I guess. Side note: For some odd reason the fries taste better while you, yourself are frying on the beach. This place gets my rarely awarded five clogged arteries out of five. Now pass me the defib…

Thrasher’s fries AND Thrasher’s funnel cakes? Are you kidding me!!! Two of my favorite beach foods and I only have to wait in one line?! My arteries are hardening just writing that. Food stuffs — The fries are typical Thrasher’s, which is to say that they are awesome. Freshly cut, skin still on, and fried to a slightly crunchy outside, soft and warm inside. Malt vinegar is available but if you ask them for ketchup, you’d think you just asked for a rare steak in India. That’s my only gripe about Thrasher’s b/c I love me some ketchup with my fries. The funnel cake was $ 5.50 and it was great! They also sell smoothies, which just doesn’t seem to belong. Location — this location is just south of the Thrasher’s located near the corner of Rehoboth Ave and the boardwalk. The fries are the same but this one has funnel cake! One store, one credit card, one heart attack. Rehoboth Beach is so convenient!
