Mondo is great, I don’t know why people go crazy when a restaurant first opens up and they don’t like it because of this that and whatever. You have to give it sometime. All new employees probably working on an all new menu with new cooks. Jesse the owner is a great man who does his best to make sure everything is okay. I went to his old place many many of times and it was great and this place is as well. The reason he closed was not because he ran out of business is because of the countless obnoxious people who would go into his place. Eventually you get tired of it. Glad he and his place is back. Best pizza in Reisterstown by far. I also would recommend the chicken parm. It is very good.

Not sure if it’s even worthy of 1 star. We ordered hummus and chicken schwarma wraps on pita for takeout. The schwarma was served on tortillas, not pita — and they were terrible. The hummus was nothing more than blended chickpeas. There was no tahina, lemon, seasonings of any kind — it was chunky, watery hummus. We threw it out — couldn’t eat it. It was a complete waste of money and total disappointment. We had great experiences at the owner’s former restaurant(now Firenze), where he served great Mediterranean food. Not sure what happened but Mondo is the worst dining experience we have had ever. Completely unacceptable quality and the prices were outrageous.

We went there to listen to some music. The music was great, the food was awful. My husband had the Capellini Aldo and even after dousing it with parm cheese and hot pepper flakes it was still inedible. I ordered the angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and calamari. It was a giant plate of food but it was really pretty terrible. I’m not sure how you screw up marinara sauce. Maybe their pizza is better but I’m not willing to go back in order to find out.

Too expensive for what you get especially the calamari app. Staff was very helpful. Pizza was alright. Shawarma wrap couldn’t decide if it wanted to be warm or cold.

Placed a to go order, Pizza way under cooked, returned it and came out the same way even after I asked requesting it well done the second time. Seems to be their standard now, ordered in before and the pizza was decent…

I think this restaurant had a rough start but they have an awesome new chef , managers and friendly staff working with the owner of Mondo’s Jess(former owner of Toninos on main street in Reisterstown) I’ve been there several times the pizza rocks & I love their kids menu for the Rugrats.(kids eat free on tuesday night and entertainment on weekends in their lounge) I’m gonna working my way through the menu. And luckily some of the old Toninos menu is served there.

Went for lunch twice and had a very good experience both times. Their sandwiches are stuffed full of goodness… yesterday I tried the cheese steak sub and it was delicious. I was a little disappointed that the sub was the only thing on the plate. No fries, no chips no garnish whatsoever. Our waitress and hostess were very accommodating and welcoming. As I was leaving, I noticed a nice covered outdoor patio. I live in the neighborhood and am happy to see this restaurant and certainly hope they continue to dish out tasty food!

New restaurants are always exciting. I decided to take my two young pizza loving boys for dinner on a week night. Lots or available parking, great décor, nice beer selection. The menu was mediocre at best, a very standard selection with nothing exceptional. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a small Greek salad. The salad was a good size but was mostly lettuce with 2 anemic pieces of tomato, a couple slices of cucumber, red onion, bland feta cheese and pitted olives that tasted like water. The dressing was decent — a white balsamic but definitely no real Greek dressing. The pizza was pretty tasty. The dough was cooked through, meat was flavorful and was of average«cheesiness». Dessert was the biggest let down. A strawberry key lime pie — all sweet no tart with an average graham cracker crust. My son ordered a watermelon sorbet. I was excited to try it as that truly delicate and refreshing flavor just cannot be beaten in warm weather. To say that it was barely edible is an understatement. It tasted like frozen watermelon put in a blender with 15 cups of sugar. Disgusting! My son who has a crazy sweet tooth had 5 bites before pushing it away. Bar patrons frequently came out and smoked on the side stairs which allowed smoke to blow straight at us while we ate. The one saving grace was the waitress who was sweet and attentive.
