Best pizza EVA! The skills that go into making my pizza is incredible. The manager was exceptional.

Best pizza BTS in town. Amazing staff lead by a great manager. We are regulars. Where else can you get a «slice», which is two slices, and a beer for a great price. Decent selection of beers on tap. Friendly staff. The cooks even came out to check on the pizza. End the meal with a great doughy crust with some honey.

Amazing!!! This is our second time(the first time we ordered take out). The service last night was great and our server was very attentive. We ordered bread sticks and a medium pizza and it was delicious!!! We will recommend this to anyone in town and continue to come here when we are craving pizza!!!

Pizza was okay but didn’t like the service. Due to loose lid on pepper container, half of the jar was spilled on my slice. When I mentioned this to an employee he asked«What do you want me to do?» Hmmm… I called this poor customer service. Not going back there again.

Stopped in for lunch, first time. We ordered a 10-inch pizza for our kids(ages 4 and 5) with half cheese and half salami. my husband and i split a 12-inch Blind Hawaiian, which had pineapple, sweet bbq sauce, canadian bacon, and red onion. While we waited my kids found a stack of old boardgames and we played a frozen version of candyland and half a game of checkers. So the kids were fully entertained while we waited(which was, i must admit, a long time). The pizza was delicious– the bottom crust was thin but hard and the end crust almost tasted more like a pie crust than a pizza crust. The kids each ate three slices of pizza(more than usual for them) and the adults ate just as heartily! Would highly recommend!

Probably our favorite pizza place in town, they give you honey with your pizza and everything I’ve had there is absolutely amazing.

Pizza there is always phenomenal I love this place We went in today to order some slices like always the guy at the counter was totally rude and then he gave a smart ass chuckle as we walked out the door as we decided to leave. We will NOT be going back there.

I can see how people with kids like this place. Good Service and nice staff but I can’t give the food more than 2 starts. This type of pizza just wasn’t my cup of tea. The dough is on the sweet side and the crust hits your stomach like a ton of bricks. The toppings were delicious and their Margarita Pizza was okay but that crust. Not for us.

My kids say it’s the best pizza ever. Who am I to argue with a 4 and 6 year old?!? We’ve been doing the happy hour large pizzas pretty regularly. No way you would go to a chain in place of this place for a similar price! Good pizza, great crust.

Still a great place to go to for lunch and grab a slice/beer combo! I always love trying their pizza of the week that is in constant rotation(some include the use of hot sauce!). Their beer selection always includes great craft beers. And their style signature is to dip the leftover crust in honey, which is good. This location is fun for groups and includes table games for the kids!

I’ve had pizza in New York, Chicago, and California. These states claim to have the best pizza, but not until I ate at The Blind Onion did I truly know what f****** amazing pizza was. It is really all about the crust, and they nailed it. The crust is braided at the edge and you can rip it of and eat it as though they were bread sticks, and of course you must use their ranch for dipping sauce. They do a monthly special pizza, I recommend you try it when you stop by, always a hit and you’ll leave happy and full. I believe they put some honey in the crust because it has a wonderful, although subtle, sweetness. I will never go to another pizza joint because honestly no one can touch The Blind Onions quality.

Me getting to choose the pizza place = me choosing Blind Onion every time. I really like the carnivore but even the classic pepperoni is amazing. The crust is always cooked perfectly and is topped with the right cheese to sauce ratio. Blind Onion introduced me to putting honey on my pizza crust and seriously changed the way I eat pizza forever. *wide eyed emoji* It’s a little more on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Love love love it!

My fiancée and I ate some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The staff described every beer on the menu because I am picky and we figured out the perfect pairing. I am gong to go again just to try something new. The pizzas are fairly inventive and very well prepared.

Hubby was craving pizza so we decided to try Blind Onion based on Unilocal’s positive reviews, as well as a recommendation from a friend. We ordered carry-out and got the baked wings, chicken pesto pizza and the carnivore pizza. It was pretty good. Loved how the pizza had dessert built into it… they provide honey for you to eat the crust with. This was unexpectedly delicious and addicting. We don’t eat pizza too often, but when we do, we’ll definitely be back.

Stopped here about 2 months ago and I was not impressed at all !!! The place was a mess !! Counter was sticky and forget about touching the condiments that they have on the counter. The pizza was so so, way too doughy for me, maybe thats just me since I prefer a this crispy crust. Maybe I was there on a off day, I will try it again but for now… nope wasn’t impressed at all.

VERY disappointing $ 20.95 for what a bunch of dough… some slices don’t even have pepperoni on them and a see through layer of cheese… so disappointed!!!

I’m very very very very picky about my pizza. In my opinion, the best in the Reno area are Grimaldi’s, South Creek, and La Vecchia’s. I can now add the Blind Onion to my list. It’s different from what I usually prefer — the crust is thicker than I prefer but that braided knot around the edge is to die for. Also, I tend to rate pizzas based on two toppings. Is the sausage crumbled, not sliced? If so, pass GO and collect a Pizza Gold Medal from Allie. Are the mushrooms fresh and sliced thinly, not out of a can? If so, pass GO and collet a Pizza Gold Medial from Allie. Note that for $ 6, their special is a large soda and what’s called a Super Slice — that means two slices of pizza, or what essentially is a quarter of a large pizza. See pic. A good deal for lunch, but if you’re hungrier than that, go ahead and order an entire pizza! Well worth it.

Is it wrong to have a love affair with B.O. No, silly. I’m not talking about that! I’m talking about Blind Onion and their delicious pizza! Living in FL most of my life, the idea that pizza was anything but thin and crusty, or thin and floppy, was totally foreign to me. Moving out west to Reno, I’d heard lore of an elusive piece of pizza pie called the Super Slice! This massive slice represents a quarter of a large traditional mountain style pie, sporting a thin crunchy bottom with a deliciously chewy top, and a braided crust that stands the height of the Sierras! This beast I had to see for myself, so off to Blind Onion I went. From the moment it arrived, it was love at first sight. At the beginning of my love affair with this slice, I recognized it to be big enough for two meals, but these days, I take it down in one sitting. The super slice is always perfectly cooked, and you can get it topped any way you like it. My favorite combo WAS their italian sausage and green olives, however green olives are not on the menu anymore, so I now opt for red onion and sausage instead. My method for devouring this delicious piece of pizza perfection is… with a fork and knife! Blasphemy I know, but I like to get the perfect bite every time… a little sausage, a little onion, some bottom crust, sauce and cheese, topped with the right amount of ranch! Mmmmm. Then when that’s all gone, I take down the mountain of crust by unravelling each braid and eating it bite by bite, of course dipping it in honey and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. There are B. Os everywhere in Reno-Sparks but this location on S. Virginia has been my go to for some time now. On my recent visit I noticed they’d done some major expansions and added a really nice dining room with large communal dining tables and nice booths, in addition to the super chill bar area with high tops. So whether you’re just going there to get down with the SS by yourself, tackling a larger gourmet creation with friends, or just looking for a nice place to grab a good beer, this location has something for everyone. I’d love to hear your super slice experiences! So please share!

June 30, 2013 Saturday — dinner 5:15PM 4 adults & kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 3 stars Service — 2 stars Background — Shopping at the mall and decided to get pizza. Atmosphere — You can tell they took over two sections of the strip mall but they could have done a better job on the floor between the two sections. You can even see where the glue from the tiles that were removed stuck and took some of the cement floor with it when it was removed. The floor looks battered. Food Appetizer — none ordered. Drinks — I went with soda from the machine for the 5 of us. So I was handed 5 plastic glasses. One was so sticky I had to wash my hands afterwards. GROSS! My Main Course — We ordered a large linguiça pizza. Linguiça done right is sliced like a pepperoni, and some places actually call it pepperoni. They look like tiny pepperoni when sliced this way, but the difference is they curl up and get their tops burnt a little and hold all that grease, mmmm so good. No here they chopped the pieces into little bits like large BacO bits. I was so disappointed with the topping. Dessert — Not here. Service — Over thirty minutes to get a large pizza, I actual saw a table of two get their pizza before us that arrived much later than us. I got to stop giving tips when I pay for the food before I get it. Future — doubt this location.
