No one knows leather better. CJ has been my guy for years. He keeps my shoes looking top notch. If you have anything leather needing to be treated or shined give him a shot. You’ll never go anywhere else. He’s open for business almost twelve hours a day. Great conversation and a great deal of knowledge.

I work at the Peppermill and started bringing my work shoes to Clement (CJ) to keep them looking professional, but after seeing him working on a saddle one day I started bringing in other leather goods including my motorcycle jacket and a leather duffle-​bag, both of which he cleaned and conditioned so I feel like I will get years more service out of them. My girlfriend saw my shoes before/​after so now I am bringing in her shoes and boots and he has even cleaned up her leather purses!
I usually drop off my stuff, but he does the regular «while you sit in the chair» work as well.
I am always surprised how little I have to pay for this level of service.
The shoe-​shine bench is located adjacent to the hotel Front Desk inside the Peppermill.
