Crave Catering

Firstly, I am curious as to why the other one star ratings are no longer included as reliable reviews on this site.
Over the past three months I have had nothing but frustration with this caterer. At a charity event last October, I successfully bid (and paid for) an elegant, catered dinner for 14 people, complete with wine, full service, etc. Communication before the event was very one sided, I had to drag it out of him. I made repeated phone calls and sent emails. I always felt like he thought I was pestering him. We did have one very successful (I thought) meeting at my house which restored my faith that he would actually execute this dinner for me.
Is he reliable? No, he cancelled the day of the event with a phone call at 10:15 in the morning and I have not heard from him since! It has been over two weeks. Let me be clear, I have already paid in full for this event and have received nothing.
I have to say this was the worst catering experience I have ever had and I have worked with a lot of caterers. It seems as though he over committed, took the charitable donation, and didn’t deliver. If this review is not published I will find Unilocal suspect. This guy is a fraud.

Was in town and hosting event for my friends shower — upon recommendations used Dan Shirley and Crave Catering and was thrilled to pieces! Food was fresh and presented as if you were at a five star restaurant — tasted magnificent — and of great value! Chef Dan and his staff treated us fabulous. Wish I lived closer — would be back sooner!
