Walnut Grove, CA
Not usually my cup of tea but tonight it’s soup and salad with a beer. Baked potato soup with all the trimmings and a garden salad. Not bad, tasty and served fast. Had Pacifico to wash it down.
The highlight of the meal was Saul my server. He was fast and friendly. Very personable thanks Saul.

This Denny’s restaurant is the absolute best one ever! They remember our order (we visit a few times a week!) always refill our drinks promptly, are courteous and kind, and drive to make sure everything is the way we want it. Love this place !!!

Undeniably the best Denny’s I’ve ever been to! We were greeted and seated by the friendly staff and within minutes were brought out drinks and had our order taken. The food was brought out very quickly. The waitress and staff came back to check on us frequently. In my younger days I had the experience of working for several exceptional restaurants at Hilton hotels. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. My thanks to the Management and staff. We look forward to eating there again on our next trip out to Reno.

I don’t usually rate chains so highly. But we had such a great experience here, passing through Reno. Our server, Luzelena, was delightful and efficient. She suggested avocado for my senior veggie omelette. We never get that in PA! Husband also ordered off the senior menu, the senior French toast slam, which he enjoyed.
Even the layout and atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. Very different from any East Coast Denny’s I’ve been in. Keep up the good work!

We stopped here for breakfast yesterday. It was quite packed and bz but the staffs were on their game. Still providing great service and pulling orders left and right. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She asked if we needed anything every time she passed by. Even other workers asked to help and even cleared plates for us when it was in the way. Quick service without rushing customers.

Hubby & I always use tabasco sauce and was surprised that this branch seemed like diluted the tabasco sauce with water, we can tell from its consistency and they did this to get more amount of it! Gross! Bacon half cooked. I wanted wanted pancakes for lunch and this was the closest one to our hotel!

Everything was horrible!!! This is my first time eating at this location and i will not come back! Before i even sat down the waiter asked me what i wanted to drink… Then when i asked for ice tea with lemon he never brought it. I had to ask 3 MORE people for lemon before i got it. The portion was small. One of the pieces of bacon was burnt. The waiter never came back to check on us… I got one refill on my drink after my meal…

Chicken sandwich arrived with a nice long hair draped down the side melted into the cheese. They returned to kitchen to make another, family was already done eating at that point. No apologizes from staff, no manager notified to even make an apology and we still had to pay for it… So gross and dirty!

I always come here or others locations and I live their food but today I decide to order the «PRIM RIB MELT» and it hardly had a any meat in it I think for the PRICE their charging for it I expect a good portion of meat. thank you and please DO NOT order that SANDWICH. to much $$$ for what u get.

Food was ok, your average Denny’s. Service-​wise though, worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to! Granted, we did go on Thanksgiving night. However, they appeared to be sufficiently staffed. Waiters never checked up to see how we were doing and the wife never got her water even though we had asked twice.
Of course I had to go ask for our check, and as I did, overheard two gentlemen from a table near us complaining to a waiter that they were waiting 20 minutes for napkins… Ouch. Skip this Denny’s folks! We would have been better off with fast items from 7 – 11. 7 – 11 Clerks are probably more attentive and courteous.

Well they asked us what we wanted to drink 3 times before we actually got it, then we ending getting 2 cups of water each within mins of each other. I ordered a side salad and didn’t get that til the middle of my main dish, just for that I didn’t get charged for my salad. Balanced out at the end, shit happens and people aren’t super people.

I was anti-Denny’s for years cause I think their food is nasty. Today that changed!
I love how a restaurant follows trend, healthy and fit eating. They have a few dishes that are lean and healthy. I had an egg white omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach, the veggies were cooked to perfection. It also came with a side of fruits and turkey bacon. Even hubby was surprised I finished it.
Daughter had a breakfast burrito with egg whites, avocado and blend of cheese and fresh pico de gallo.
Service: excellent! Ivona was great! Kept checking on us!
