poor service, not clear on prices of cocktails and obnoxious staff that told someone they would«dump their beer» since they had not started drinking it? plus crazy up charges for anything with an actual measured shot of liquor.

PLEASEDON’T go here. Major PRICEGOUGING is occurring. I get paying more for drinks at the airport but seriously… Here is an example: I asked for some champagne– the bartender pulled out Andre(pretty much the cheapest bottle you can buy– and is sparkling wine) you can purchase Andre at the store for max $ 5 for the WHOLEBOTTLE!!! I was charged $ 20 for a glass of Andre. Literally people read this and stand up for yourselves. Not to mention they buy in bulk so they prob bought it for $ 2 that means they made $ 18 on my drink. Not worth it. Very disappointed in a business like this! Let’s get them out and bring in a new business that is actually fair and cares about people. DON’T GETCAUGHTINTHETRAP. We work hard for our money this is ridiculous.

It gets 5-Stars for one reason and one reason only: LOCATIONLOCATIONLOCATION! Is the food good? It’s not bad for airport food but far from good. Is the booze overpriced? Yes, but the doubles(which are avail on the special of the month — sometimes vodka, sometimes gin) make it a bargain for an airport. Is there gaming? Yes, video poker at the bar. Is it kid friendly? I’d say no but I’ve seen many a kid eating French fries at the tables. There’s not a lot of fine dining options at RNO so I look for a place closest to my gate. Tahoe Taphouse is located near the Jet Blue red eye to JFK and the puddle jumper to SLC. There are two bartenders that make it worth the stop. The young man that recently served me on my last visit went above and beyond getting me chips from the store next door. Yes, they’re the same place but some bartenders don’t want to cross that line. Plus he was hustling to make sure customers got what the needed before they had to leave for their flights. There’s a petite woman who is usually there. She actually use a steps-toll to serve the people at the bar. She’s always friendly even though she’s getting a work out clearing off the bar. Yeah I see the bad rating from my fellow UnilocalERS but come on people it’s a bar in a small airport!

Awful place. Out of most of the food on the very limited menu. They offered to go and buy some chips for the chips and salsa but after 20 minutes were still no show. Stay away.

In terms of airport locations, this place is ok but nothing special. Its conveniently located next to gate C7, with restrooms directly across. There is a bar with about 15 seats. In addition, there are a mixture of high and low tables for sitting. There are NO prices on the alcohol menu. That’s warning sign number one lol A glass of beer starts at $ 10, mixed drinks start at $ 13. There is a small food menu with items such as: Hot Dog for $ 8.99, BBQ Pulled Port Sliders for $ 9.99, a Ham and Cheese sandwich for $ 8.99, chicken salad for $ 11.98, chips & salsa for $ 4.99 and a bagel with cream cheese for $ 3.49. There was only one person working at 6pm on a Sunday, but service was reasonably fast and friendly. There are 3 TVs in the place.

The ownership company that owns this place is great, however, people make a difference. Milly, was the bartender and I typically wouldn’t drop a name, but she was anything but pleasant. I hope she finds the right path in life as her current path sucks! Bottom line, this manager needs to step up the standards… It needs to mirror the company values. #Lazy people

Just an average traditional American restaurant, nothing to complain about nor is there anything to get excited about. Most times service was fairly quick.

Little olé lady was nice and helpful. But the menu is small. Found sliders so I tried them. I got them because of the coleslaw it said it had on top. I got the sliders and no coleslaw really you think I wouldn’t notice. Asked server she went to look and saw they didn’t have any so she mixed cabbage and mayo for me. That was sweet of her but doesn’t cut it. Wouldn’t eat here again and only because of the food quality.

Wow, I should have gone to another terminal. This was a dismal menu. Nothing vegetarian except the starters(onion rings and pretzels). I had the fried shrimp, which were okay but not good. And no local brews on tap, with just five taps. The name is really deceptive! I had Shock Top. Sad. Nice staff, though.

Eh, an okay way to spend time before your flight. I had the chicken salad, but there only three choices for dressing, none of which were appealing to me. Very average food. Average service. But hey, you can play video poker, right?

At the Tahoe Tap bar in the airport I witnessed the bartender bus his tables then he picked up food, trash and dirt off the floor. No gloves. Then he filled two orders that required fruit that he used his fingers and pushed them in the drinks. He did not at anytime wash his hands except when they were dunked in the fresh drinks. June 7, 2015 at 1:30 pm B side of terminal.

I had the pulled pork sliders and a beer(Goose Island IPA). How can you call yourself a tap house with only 5 taps?! They had Stella, Bud light, Sam Adams seasonal, shock top and goose island IPA on tap. The pork slider wasn’t very good. Buns were a little stale and it took about 15 – 20 minutes. It came with some chips, which we also stale. Had 3 TVs. Wouldn’t recommend. Go to restaurant at the top of security escalators instead

When we first walked in the bartender made sure to say this is a bar and not a restaurant so she had a limited menu. Thanks but a hi would have been more welcomed! Then after we ordered, the bartender(Alexis) brings out a sandwich and says do we want mayo or mustard. My co-worker responds«I had a quesadilla». Her response is «well so I’m asking about the sandwich». I’m bewildered and I’m sure my face had that WTF look on it since neither of us ordered a sandwich. Then after a patron pays she complains loudly about them leaving less than 10% and her having to pay taxes herself. Don’t know don’t care, keep it to yourself. The food came out and was mediocre at best. Luckily I can’t eat much so I ate a bite and got over it. Never again. Someone fire Alexis.

Beer bar. Sort of a shitty, dumpy place in the C terminal — avoid if possible. Bar and surrounding tables are meh — seemed dirty and there are built in video gambling machines in the bar. Bartender couldn’t have cared less about being there and there was no food available yet not 5 feet away and connected to the bar is a deli thing with sandwiches. Had i know there was no food, I would have went elsewhere BEFORE ordering a beer. Avoid.

If you have time, walk down to Concourse C, and there’s a much better restaurant. The food is overly expensive, and not that great and there’s only a few beers on tap(I believe four — 2 were domestics, no local microbrews). The Blue Moon that I had was like… uhh… whoa… Chicken sandwich was something like $ 10 – 12, and it came with some chips that could have been Lay’s regular. Sort of a waste. Like I said, if you have the time before your flight… walk down to where Concourse B and C connect, and there’s a much better bar and menu there.

We are a little short on time to catch our flight back home. This is one of the spots right near our gate so we settle in here. Chicken Quesadilla and a Turkey sammie. The sammie is served with plain potato chips and it is quite skimpy on the turkey in between the ciabatta bread. Ciabatta bread is THICK too so there should really be some more meat up in there! Especially for a $ 10 sandwich! More meat please!!! My quesadilla was AIIGHT. The pico it was served with was tasty, I could have had a big bowl of it and eaten it by the spoonful! Everything kept falling out of the tortilla though, but I managed to scarf it down =)

I’m not sure what it is about the Reno/Tahoe airport, but there wasn’t a single cranky employee to be found(the flight attendants on the other hand…). This includes the waitress at the Tahoe Taphouse. There isn’t much to be said about a bar in an airport. They do the best they can, visually, with the extremely limited canvas they have to work with. My wife and I saddled up for a couple rounds as we were early for our flight. We were instantly greeted by a ray of sunshine wearing glasses(though it took a moment to understand if there were actually empty tables, as there were several left over cups hanging about from departed patrons). We placed our order and our first round came pretty quick. Our second round took a while as our waitress, while sweet, was quite forgetful(and it wasn’t just us, either). It took two visits for her to remember to put in the order for the second round and two visits for her to bring the tab. Ce est lav vie. Not a bad little spot if you’re early for your flight. Just be patient when it comes to your drinks.

If you plane gets delayed and need a beer its fine. Skip the food options. Tried a salad and it took 15 minutes for a plate of lettuce, mushy tomatoes, and avocados.

Not the best airport bar, but certainly tolerable. Stopped by the Tahoe Taphouse to watch one of the AFC Divisional games while waiting for my flight back to LA. The bar has about 10 seats with a tabletop video poker. They have a couple of 32″ TV’s, which are situated at both corners in awkward locations. Drinks are decently priced. Be sure to get the 22 oz beer for $ 1 more or an extra shot for an extra $ 2. The bartenders were nice, but the food was overpriced. Stick to the large beers or get get an extra shot in your drink and you’ll be fine.

Nice casual bar to grab a drink, have a quick bite and do some last minute gambling on draw poker/blackjack before you leave Reno. They’re pretty chill about letting you hang out and watch the game on TV.
