The pizza and wings were so good. Everything tastes so fresh and the atmosphere is very friendly. Staff was wonderful as well. There’s a lot of outdoor seating too so it’s very comfortable on a summer night!

Absolutely delicious little local joint. The buffalo wings were outstanding(not too spicy, but not too mild either!) and the BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely perfect, maybe a little more chicken & a little less onion, but that’s just a personal preference! The staff were all super friendly, and even though they had their patio pretty full a half hour after closing, not one single member of the team seemed irritated and I didn’t feel shooed out at all. I would happily send friends their way!

How have I driven past this gem for years and years without trying it out? Eclipse Pizza is just a great addition to the Reno foodie experience! I absolutely love the outdoor seating. The seating is mostly in a wind shadow so as long as the weather is mild/warm, the experience outside will be great. The indoor seating is sort of limited but they do have a loft upstairs for additional seating. Eclipse has a very well developed menu with lots of different options. I’m a huge fan of all that they have to offer and I love the variety. If you are underwhelmed by the menu, you can always create your own pizza. One thing that is unique is that almost half of the pizzas on the menu come with a pesto sauce rather than a marinara sauce(so for people like my tomato-hating boyfriend, this is the place to go!). So far I have only tried the Ironman pizza, but I’m looking forward to going back to Eclipse and trying their other options. The small pizza is 10″ and is a personal size. The medium is perfectly shareable for 2 people. The dough is hand made and tossed and turns into an absolutely lovely pizza crust. It is thin enough to have some crunch but is thick enough to support the bold flavors.

I really wanted to love this place, but walked away with an indifferent feeling(I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it). Our Pizza was slightly overcooked and when the crust is as thin has it is at Eclipse Pizza this is extremely noticeable. Moreover, the pizza was light on the cheese on both halves(my friends ordered ½ Ecilpse Combination and I had ½ Grecian). I could understand if my side(the Grecian) was light on cheese, but both sides didn’t have enough cheese. …but in Ecilpse Pizza’s defense and in all honesty, they only listed feta as the only cheese on my side and I prefer a heavily cheesed pizza. We should of ordered extra cheese! The sauce was quite flavorful and tasty, but it just over powered all the other pizza flavors(but this could of been because they just used too much of it). My Greek Salad had fresh ingredients and was large, but the salad’s ‘Greek’ flavors were underwhelming(perhaps the dressing?). It was the best party of the meal though and I’d order it again. I do wish they served the pesto/garlic pizza slice with it warm. I believe the owner took our order, he was very friendly and welcoming and informed us they has seating upstairs(it was raining outside and there is very limited downstairs seating inside). The upstairs dining area was also small, but it was away from people walking in and out and away from the order counter, so it was a nice area to have dinner in rainy weather. Noteworthy that the upstairs area had a supply shelve with food supply out in the open upstairs. The tables and ‘condiment/silverware’ stations were a little on the dirty side. Noise level was low. Also, perhaps tip afterwards(it’s prepay)… I gave a very generous tip ahead of time and we only saw a server 2 times(once to drop off the food and the other time when he came to clean up another table upstairs(we asked him to refill our drinks at this time). I’d like to come back and give them another try… next time with extra cheese!

The crust is thin but substantial, the sauce is tart but not overbearing, and the cheese is delicious but not too heavy. I can’t speak to the dine in quality since I have only gotten take out, but the pizza is amazing. The sauce is the most important part of the pizza for me, and they absolutely nailed it.

So we just bought a new home in the area and like any family of four we are trying all of the local pizza spots in our immediate area. We read all the reviews and decided to give Eclipse a chance. Sadly it was a real let down. Although the atmosphere is exactly our style, the pizza wasn’t. If I can make once observation it would be the amount of sauce. Now we’re a fan of ample sauce. How ever we are not a fan of too much bad sauce. The staff was awesome, but unfortunately the taste, texture, and consistency, of the«key» ingredient has turned us off to pizza for at least a couple weeks. So far Noble Pie is the front runner. Good luck if you try Eclipse, I hope we were just there on an off night.

Went here on a Friday at 6:25 pm. Waited in line, placed our order, took our drinks, table number 12 and took a seat outside. The group before us table number 11, who was also outside, got their individual pizzas rather quickly. This could be due to them knowing an employee as there were hugs all around when he dropped off their food. We waited another 20 minutes or so. If they were number 11, surely our one pizza and wing order should be up soon. About 7:20, I went inside with the table number, and waited in line to check on our food. Once I made it to the front of the line, I was told, our pizza was in line for the oven. He then proceeded to tell me they were really busy and it was a 45 minute wait. I get that, but ours has been an hour. I then saw someone drop off two medium pizzas to a table inside. This table of four was one couple behind me when ordering hence their table number 14. So how is it that they ordered behind me and we’re getting ready to eat and my freaking pizza wasn’t even in the oven yet? I got my husband and friend who paid and even left a tip when he paid to come inside. We had waited long enough, we asked to speak to a manager. He said our pizza was just about to go into the oven, but our wings were ready. I asked, «how come our pizza still isn’t done, but people who ordered behind us are already eating and pointed to the group with table number 14.» No real apology, but he refunded the money to my friend who paid. My recommendation, get your tickets in order based on a time stamp system. To my fellow Unilocalers, do not tip ahead. My friend was given the amount he paid in cash but didn’t get his tip back. My friend said, «don’t worry about the tip,» to the manager, but a tip is for timely service, which we did not receive. The manager should have just voided his credit card charge.

Pizza dishes like the Ironman demonstrate how tasty and creative Eclipse gets with their signature menu items. The crust has a delicious combo. of focaccia flavor and crispy thinness. Also, the house salad is one of the best I’ve ever had, with gourmet ingredients and a tangy balsamic. Will definitely done in next time and enjoy a beer with my dinner. So close to I-80 and thus convenient pick-up for take-out, too.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I hit this place a few times a month, service is great, parking is okay. The Mayberry intersection is a clownshow, beware, The artichoke hearts are delicious, best I’ve ever had on a pizza. The Downieville is excellent, and there is a maybe seasonal hot pepper pizza with a ghost pepper landmine slice and my LAN group loves that. The Paleo crust(all pepperoni) is great for a lunch. The calzones are huge and good. The beer selection is fine, I can’t complain if they offer Icky, Shock Top otherwise.

It was ALL good! We got a «family» greeting as soon as we walked into the restaurant… friendly, family style atmosphere… great selection of pizzas-speciality, classics, with a few made-to-order Eclipse originals… thin crust was cooked just right… good topping portions and fresh… Tahoe style 100%! #RENOTAHOE #ECLIPSEPIZZA

Eh? expected more after hearing all the reviews. The Pluses: Sauce had flavor without one spice overpowering the others; Fresh mushroom(not gross ones out of a can/jar; pepperoni wasn’t very greasy nor too«hot»; outdoor seating(a rarity in N. Nevada) The minuses: while crust was crispy the dough did not rise nor cook all the way; Parking is very limited and even more difficult if you drive a big truck.

Cozy, dine-in pizza joint with amazing pies. I had the«Pep Talk» which was amazing. Get a small for yourself and take a couple of slices home. Great staff. Great service. Chess and games downstairs, Small dining room upstairs which was pretty busy on a Wednesday night. When the weather is warm there’s outdoor seating. Pretty affordable at -$ 15 for a small pie and drink. Will be going back again and again!

Thin«crust» pizza, pretty much all toppings to love! Wings are great, meaty pieces of greatness. They give you ranch, Parmesan and peppers but, all of the above are unnecessary! Eclipse is great!

Thank you to the guys at Eclipse who made my vegan calzone. Note to vegans: if you bring in the vegan mozzarella, they can make an amazing delicious calzone with all the veggies. I am spreading the word and going to plan a vegan meet up there! THANKYOU!

How have I not tried this pizza in the two years that I have lived in Reno? Love the atmosphere at this pizza gem and the outdoor patio seating! This could definitely become a favorite hang out restaurant for us. I didn’t order a glass but it looked like they had a decent selection of wine and beer. The owner took our order and was as friendly as they come! He really took his time to make us feel welcome and tell us about what is on and not on(secret menu) the menu. Hubby and I shared the Apple Goat Cheese Salad. We split the small and still had a ton left over. This salad is one of the best I have ever tasted. I am not sure what goat cheese they use, but it is so fresh and flavorful. The dressing is perfect… I could go on and on! We built our own pizza which was made quickly and delicious. Loved the crust… loved the toppings… loved it all! Can’t wait to go back and try all of the different variations of pizzas and of course order another salad!

I really wanted to like this place. I’ve heard so many good things about it. They also have very fast and friendly service. It looks like a fun place to work. It was also inexpensive which is really nice! My pizza was just ok. Nothing great. Really just average, kinda greasy and not great quality in their cheese. I also ordered some hot wings and they were totally not edible. They were dry, overcooked and super dinky. The few little bites of chicken were black it was so overcooked. Just poor quality. I really don’t like to write bad reviews especially when the service is so kind but the food was just really under par.

It’s really quite sad, I live within walking distance of eclipse pizza and in 14 years have never been there. But this last weekend that changed. We were taking the dog for a walk in the area and was going to stop for ice cream, but decided we were hungrier than that. So we stopped in to eclipse pizza. Quite small in the inside but lots of outdoor dining and pet friendly The first night there we ordered the mascot pizza. What great toppings it had — artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, pine nuts and pieces of chicken. It had a ton of toppings and the flavors were great. One of the best things was the thin crust that was so crispy to the very last bite of the last piece. Yummy. All this on a small pizza– that wasn’t all that small for $ 9 So thrilled with that pizza that night, two nights later we walk the dog back for another pizza. This time we order in medium eclipse combination. $ 16. This one had pepperoni, sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and black olives. Maybe not as healthy as the first pizza but packed with lots of flavor There’s a good selection of pizza choices and several salads. It’s going to take a few more walks with the dog this summer to get through the entire menu but I plan on giving it a shot
