A few days after I wrote my initial review, I happened to stop by again and noticed that the flannel shirts I had just purchased were now on sale with an even deeper discount — an additional $ 5 off. I was telling my friend this (one of the shirts I purchased was for her husband) when the sales associate overheard me. Why yes, I do happen to still have my receipt from those purchases with me. And a few minutes later, she handed me a gift card for the difference in sales price! Even better, I was able to then hand it over to my friend to use for the coat she was buying that was originally $ 399 on sale now for $ 299, and with my gift card now down to $ 289. Win win win.

I visited this particular Eddie Bauer while they were having a pretty steep clearance event on winter outerwear. I got some great deals and got a lot of help from the two very friendly employees (who were trying to clean up as well because they were getting ready to close)
