So if you ever wondered what it felt like takin it back to the 70’s this is the place to be. This is a cool place to come chill have so drinks listen to some old 70’s &80’s music videos blaring and just chill by the fire. The Peppermill is my favorite place to stay at in Reno and this is a must every time. They have awesome free hour doves during happy hour. Shrimp cocktails, wontons, etc. Usually if you stay there you get a buy one drink get one free coupon so don’t waste it. The ambience is dope, they actually had the same Peppermill here in Sacramento back in the day same décor and all but is now a Elephant Bar. Old school couches, fire pit, neon lights everywhere, dark, chill vibe. Gotta see it to fully grasp how cool it is. It’s really tucked away in the casino, almost hidden but it’s defiantly worth finding! They have all your basic well drinks but a wide variety of tropical cool drinks to choose from. This has to be the best lounge in Reno overall.

This place is so hard to find! We Tried the scorpion and its not what I expected it to be. It feels like I’m drinking just rum without no sweeteners or other flavor. The rum taste is super strong that I had to ask for a sweetener, and it still taste the same. Music is not hip as well. They’re playing like 70’s and 80’s music. Ambiance is just alright. So overall its just meeeeh

We had a great experience enjoying happy hour here! Vaughn and Mark are so kind, we will absolutely be back to get that same service. It’s truly one of a kind. The free appetizer was awesome and the slot machines at the bar brought us luck. What a fun happy hour with amazing service! It’s a must!

Had not tried any of the lounges at Peppermill so decided to try out this one during our last stay. Very cool ambience with the fire pit in the middle, though didn’t get to sit there because it’s a popular circle to sit. In any case, there were other booths to sit at which were cozy. Each one had a direct view of the center fire as well as a small TV that played music videos. We had a 2 for 1 coupon for drinks and so I got the Inferno(regular size) and my husband got the ultimate mudslide. I really liked the Inferno and wished I could have had more! There was one waitress serving the lounge and she was pretty nice and attentive. The lounge gave my husband and I a bit of time to just relax on our last night at Peppermill. That night though, the people sitting at the fire pit were pretty noisy. Would definitely go back again and hopefully get a chance to sit at the fire pit!

This place is very unique and colorful. I honestly don’t want to leave this place lol. Has a full bar and also a surprise for you. You’ll have to come check it out yourself. One of the best spots I been to. Also good service.

Hands down Mark the bartender at the Fireside Lounge is an excellent tender. His specialty cocktails are wonderful and his customer service along with that of Franki are beyond great! Enjoy a White chocolate martini while here. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a ladies night and decided to check out the Fireside lounge. We went twice and found seating was hard to find. They have huge couches that have a small table in front of them. The couches seat 6 – 7 people and found that most of the tables had two people occupying them, usually couples who were looking for an intimate setting so they were unwilling to share their sections. We hung out long enough to eventually get a section for our group and once we got seated we enjoyed ourselves. There were other groups waiting for seating to become available so it was literally a race to pounce once seating did come open. The atmosphere was loud. I imagine in the middle of the week this place is a great hangout for happy hour. But I would not recommend if you are with a group of six or more that you go on a Saturday. I ordered the mudslide which was not a disappointment. It was the most tasty mudslide I’ve ever had and it costs $ 11.00.

Not much to say other than this is a very cool place to hang out in with your significant other. Mood Lighting in this place sets a very romantic/sensual tone and if you’re lucky enough to grab a seat around the fire pit, you and your spouse will have no choice but to sit snuggly next to each other(which is never a bad thing). All the flat screens that surround the pit and booths play the music video to whichever song is playing at the time which is cool. Sitting around the fire can get a bit hot, so if you want to cool down grabbing a booth would be your next best option. My only gripe about Fireside is the prices for drinks are pretty high. However, that is to be expected at a hotel/casino. Try the Scooby-Doo, it’s not bad. The waitresses are usually dressed in sexy(not slutty) black gowns and are 9 times out of 10 attractive. So if you dont have a wife/girlfriend and that’s important to you, this is the place to be. However, most of the people in here are couples, so if you want to chase tail, try the nightclub.

Went for the first time, enjoyed the atmosphere and lighting. Service was prompt and attentive. Liked the drink menu. You will see a variety of patrons, from mid aged ladies and gents to young couples and younger ladies there as well. I think the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was their music videos. They were scattered in genres and era and need to update the playlist for sure. One last thing, everyone was correct, if you’ve never been you will have a hell of a time trying to find it. It really is «within the Café». Other than that, I will be back.

During a recent stay at Peppermill, hubby and I were drawn to this place for a drink, thanks to a 2-for-1 coupon in our hotel guest packet. Thankfully, we had the handy little map with us that was also in our key packet, or we probably would not have ever managed to find it. Talk about a hidden gem! We arrived just as happy hour was starting. There were a couple people sitting at the bar but otherwise the place was empty. I really wanted to sit right by the fire, but it was H-O-T, so we opted for another spot with a good view of the dancing flames but removed from the heat a bit. We were greeted right away by a friendly cocktail waitress who let us know about happy hour specials — complimentary appetizers(buffalo chicken sandwiches and shrimp cocktail the day we were there) and half-off pricing on their two signature 60oz drinks. After browsing the menu, hubby decided to jump into staycation mode with a mudslide, and I was left still stumped about what to order. Being a rare drinker, I’m not terribly versed on cocktails so typically order straight off a bar’s signature menu. I was intrigued by the Inferno, one of the lounges two 60oz drinks but that size of drink just wasn’t happening for me. Luckily for me, when I asked about the chances of being able to order a regular cocktail size of that drink, the waitress said she was quite sure that would be doable, and the bartender cheerfully declared«absolutely!» As our drinks were being made, we were brought a small plate with two servings each of the complimentary appetizers. I didn’t personally sample either of the items, but my husband said they were pretty good. We only stayed for one drink each, but definitely enjoyed the hour or so we were there. The atmosphere is great. The low lighting made for a nice, intimate setting, while the many screens playing music videos helped bring out the fun. Even as others started to arrive, it was easy to feel like we were the only ones there. Thanks to that 2-for-1 coupon in our hotel packet, two great drinks cost us just $ 11 +tip.

This little bar within peppermill is prime real estate if you’re still awake with all the other night owls. Cozy up to the bar and make sure troy is working. He’s friendly enough to ask where you’re from and tell you about the week’s upcoming specials, even when every seat is full(at 2 a.m.). $ 1 food specials are killer. Free drinks if you’re gambling go really well with dollar prime rib sliders and crispy French fries. Don’t go to bed when you’re done in the casino. Come here and make it a night!

Great atmosphere and the best friendliest bartenders EVER!!! Mark and Vaughn make the best drinks. Troy is super friendly and a very attentive bartender. Sitting at the bar gambling, watching music videos and sports on tv while drinking. Or if you prefer not to gamble, you can sit around the firepit. They have appetizers during the weekdays and a special late night appetizer from midnight-3am. Great food for $ 1. Food specials depend on the day of the week, but the sliders and French dip are phenomenal.

In a nutshell… This place is something fantastic. Sitting next to the watery fire pit, watching some cool concert footage of artists you tend to like but not own and records of, drinking some fine libations served by super nice staff. The Fireside is cool. The kind of cool that old-school blokes and younger hipsters like equally. It isn’t a club, it’s a lounge. Dark with an old-school futuristic feel. Like you are on a space ship from 1964. When at the Peppermill, you gotta stop and chill for a while. It takes you out of the casino and far away — to a place you wish you were at more often.

Space… The Final Frontier… These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise… The Fireside Lounge is nothing short of a Holodeck experience aboard the Enterprise because you frankly won’t believe your eyes. Missing only the trademark«whoosh» of the pneumatic doors aboard the Enterprise, Fireside brings together the colorful crowd and atmosphere of the crew lounge 10-Forward and one of the many lush, tropical, and fiery planets the crew visited in one of their more then 178 episodes. Between the mirrors, glowing lights, fake trees, red velveteen seating and recessed round fire pits filled with water spewing flames of intense magnitudes from an eery blue ring at the center, the place can only be described as other worldly, or a picture perfect view of where George and Jane Jetson might have relaxed. But all the funniness aside, with the right crew this place is a blast. There’s no cover, they have a pretty solid drink menu, they serve bar snacks and food all night long, and you won’t be able to stop talking about the décor and atmosphere. I hear Friday late nights it’s $ 1 nachos! So while Sir Richard Branson wants to charge people millions to take off to far off galaxies, everyone who’s in Reno knows this secret now… Just hop in your car and cruise over to the Fireside Lounge for a night of other worldly entertainment! Humans, Aliens, and all species welcome!
