Love Jimmy Johns. I used to work at a salon in Las Vegas and we lived off of the subs.(not so great for my waistline, so I called it quits for awhile). Moved to Reno and was super stoked that I had a Jimmy Johns right next door to my house. I have ordered here a multiple times and have had stale bread multiple times. I didn’t even know that kind of thing existed with Jimmy Johns. This is one of the sole purposes I’m obsessed with their subs. Second, we ordered delivery once(it was later. around 8PM). When the delivery guy arrived at our house(always quick. gotta love Jimmy Johns delivery service), he handed the food to my sister in a super rushed way — and the drinks even spilled on her and on the subs. Maybe this is why Jimmy Johns has crazy quick delivery times… They throw your food at you when you open the door lol Not sure if the delivery guy has having an off night or what. It was really rude. He even stated«you know we are closed». Last time I checked. I thought Jimmy Johns was open till 9. I also pre tipped the guy decent and spent about $ 60 in subs. They accepted my order, so apparently they weren’t closed. Called the location to complain and talked to a «manager» supposedly. I’m not typically a complainer and I never ask for anything. but the manager apologized but didn’t even offer anything in exchange to the rude delivery guy. Why I didn’t rate it 1 star? It takes a lot for me to go that far. I’ll give them another shot. I guess everyone has bad days. I just hope that delivery guy gets an attitude adjustment.

Good fresh sandwiches! I always stop at Jimmy John’s if I’m in a hurry and need something to eat it’s in and out and you know what you’re going to get is great!

Their sandwiches are gross. the service about the same and the co-founder is a senseless trophy hunter. killing animals to put their heads on his wall! Don’t fund his horrific hobby!

WOW! Talk about Bait & Switch! Today corporate announced it was Client Appreciation Day and $ 1 subs from 11 – 3, well that is only at PARTICIPATINGLOCATIONS! Fun fact, NONE of the RENO Locations are participating! Thanks Jimmy Johns for informing Reno people that we are not valued! It was already annoying to learn that the loyalty program was store specific & then disappeared! I’m not looking for handouts, but it’s truly going to affect my choice moving forward on where & who I choose to support. I am a small business owner as well so I understand expenses, but other franchises are locally owned that have loyalty programs!

Waited 30 minutes for my sandwich — my work is less than 5 miles away. Spoke to manager, he had reasons why they were behind(which were valid) but was a jerk about it and had no people skills. I will only order from the Reno Longley location only. They offer way better service and are friendly. Will Never go back to this one again

We work in the same plaza, so whenever we are limited on time, we know we can walk over, place an order and get back to work in less than 5 mins. Fresh, fast, and always get our orders right. It’s pretty simple. If you’re hungry, go for the gargantuan.

This is a quick fix for the hungrys. Don’t you just love drive thrus? Yes, they have one. By the time I ordered my Italian sub and drink, I drove to the window and like msguc, it was waiting for me. Okay this is faster than mcdonalds

Jimmy John’s is a great place to stop on your way up to Tahoe for the day. They make pretty good sandwiches and make them pretty quickly. The food is good and their menu suggestions are pretty good. They don’t have an easily customizable format for ordering so make sure that you describe exactly how you want your sandwich when you order. If you don’t specify, the sandwich won’t quite meet your expectations. I firmly believe that I can make the same quality sandwiches at my house, so I’m not the most impressed, but they do offer fresh ingredients and okay service.

They arnt kidding when they say«freaky fast»! We will order a delivery from this place, and a minute after we hang up, they are knocking in the door!!! It’s insane!!! The staff is friendly and efficient! I don’t think my sandwich has ever been wrong! It is right next to a high school, so plan your timing accordingly! Lunch time, this place is a zoo!!! I have noticed on a few occasions that the meat has not be the freshest, but otherwise, this place is good!

Had a terrible experience with staff and quality of the produce and meat were unsatisfactory. Gross.

It’s a franchise… they’re all the same. JJ’s is always delicious and this location is no different. Very fast, very good.

While my daughter loves their sandwiches I’m underwhelmed by the small portions on their sandwiches. Cheap owner.

Awful awful awful! Working at Saint Mary’s no less than 50 feet from them, they royally F’d up the sandwiches for the order i precisely elaborated on the phone and in person when I went to pick up the sandwiches! This establishment is the epitome of what is wrong with the American society today! Ran(including the manager) by a pack of entitled arrogant stuck up losers! Saint Mary’s won’t endorse your business any longer.

So here’s the thing. I love their sandwiches, but the thing I take issue with is their delivery policies. See, I live on Geiger Grade, on the other side of 395 from the JJ’s on Wedge Parkway. For whatever reason, they won’t deliver to me. They deliver to the housing developments to the north and east of me, but they won’t deliver to me, even though I’m actually closer than the South Meadows/Damonte Ranch area. So sorry, JJ’s. Your food is good, but hating on people right across the freeway from you is going to cost 3 stars. If they change their policy, I’ll update this review.

If I could rate this it would be 2 ½ stars… I have to agree the food is good but what a wait and what a price. Feeding a family of four(two kids under 6) we walk out spending over $ 50. The time it’s taken in the past is far from fast and often slip up adding things or forgetting things. We love the concept but can’t take the cost for«fast food». Across the street is Port of Subs by the ice cream shop and we can spend $ 30 for the same thing on ½ the time. The drive thru feature at times when kids are sleeping is helpful but prepare to wait with the wallet open

Good, and very fast sandwich… I ordered the #9 Italian Night Club… Idk, really what to say when it comes to fast food anymore… Its either good/bad in my mind… Shoot its FASTFOOD. I enjoyed the sandwich and am trying to compare them with my go to drive thru sandwich place(Port of Subs)… I’ll stop at Jimmy Johns again if I want to drive thru, but my go to is still Port of Subs. Plus, Port of subs has a coupon card :)

I absolutely LOVE sammiches and Jimmy John’s makes the best damn one aside from er me. I’m moving so currently my apt. is a pig stay and in a state of major chaos. Not to mention the fact that I am getting drunk as crazy because(I’m sorry Reno) but I’m stoked to be leaving. The delivery choices in Reno pretty much suck ass except for JJ’s and they always get my order right. They also employ some righteous cool as fuck dudes. I wish I could go drink beer with these guys. Update after a hiatus due to some pretty bad customer service. This store seems to have made a great turn around and after a half dozen sandwiches I need to give credit where it is due. Reliable sandwich when I can’t leave work. The delivery people are always fast and very nice. I’ll keep ordering as long as the attitude stays positive and customer oriented.

I freaking love Jimmy John’s subs! I’ve never heard of them prior to moving to NV and I’m from CA. My first time having their subs was years ago but it was a real treat. I always order the #17(I think) Ultimate Porker with oil/vinegar/all the shakers. Lately I’ve been having it «Unwich-style» where it’s wrapped in lettuce instead of bread. Their bread is fantastic but the lettuce doesn’t take away from the sub’s greatness in the least. My ooonly gripe with the Wedge Parkway location(the only location I’ve ever been to) is the wait. They used to always be super fast, however on my last visit a couple days ago(and a few times prior), it’s taken too long. For it being all sandwiches I see no reason why it should be slacking. I was in the drive-thru for nearly 15 minutes from the time I ordered until I received my food. I knew I should’ve just walked in to begin with. Still, at least the gal at the window was decent to apologize for the long wait, so I appreciated that. Oh boy, do I feel bad for all the folks who have never had Jimmy John’s!

Co-worker driving up the hill to Tahoe texts me: «Want a Jimmy John’s?» HOLLA, now that’s what I call delivery service — LOL. I order my sandwich here like most people order their fancy schmancy overpriced coffee drinks: #9 Italian Night Club. Extra lettuce. Cut in half. Light on mayo and vinagrette. I once had the audacity to look at the nutritional value at one of their sandwiches and nearly fainted when I saw the sodium content. That’s why I try to dilute the damage by ordering extra lettuce, light on the condiments, and cut in half(with the vague incorrect belief that I actually have the will power to not eat the entire thing at once).
