This place is good. The workers are very friendly and keep the place looking nice. For a McDonald’s it’s one of the best I’ve been to.

This is actually one of the better McDonald’s I’ve been to. May has something to do with the more upscale neighborhood here at the Base of Mt. Rose Highway. I had just stopped in at the bagel shop in the same shopping center and had a disappointing experience with their WiFi connection, so I came here into McD’s. No very busy at 9:30am. I saw on the menu the $ 1.00 specials. I got 2 of the sausage McMuffins for a buck each. I needed some food, and I didn’t wanna be one of those people that just goes in and uses the WiFi for free and doesn’t buy anything. The food came up fast, hence fast food. So I find a nice spot to sit and log on to the WiFi while I munch on my muffins. The Sausage McMuffins are basically an English Muffin with a sausage patty and cheese between. Not bad for a buck. Generally the place was clean and not noisy. The internet worked fine, not super fast, but OK for surfing and e-mail. I thought I was gonna be able to have coffee and relax a bit over at the bagel shop, but no internet there, even though I was told there was by a staff member. I come back to this McDonald’s.

Except for the grouchy manager this a nice McDonald’s. The manager here has been in a bad mood for at least 4 years now. The good appeal of this McDonald’s is there is a little privacy. No one bothers you. It also on the way up to Lake Tahoe and you can get something on the way up there.

I sometimes help out with feeding the homeless in Reno at 4th and Record. We usually cook the food ourselves. But once I had a friend tell me she couldn’t make it, but she wanted to give me $ 30 for 30 McDonald’s burgers anyway. Ooookay. The people at the drive-through didn’t even blink. They said they just needed 10 minutes and they were ready. And let’s be honest, when I showed up at the feed with 30 cheeseburgers, the first 30 people in line nearly jumped for joy. This is pretty much the nearest McDonald’s from Incline Village — 30 minutes, door to door. In some places of America, this would be considered amazing, considering the plethora of fast food places in most of suburbia. To be honest, I sometimes stop here on my way to Reno for a bathroom break. I don’t really use the Wifi here, but the few times I’ve used it, it’s been actually pretty good.
